DAY 25 - Anime that never gets old no matter how many times you've watched it?
Ao Haru Ride (Blue Spring Ride)!
Futaba Yoshioka used to be an attractive and popular middle-schooler—well liked by the opposite sex, but ostracized by the girls. Nevertheless, she was able to brush all that off, because the only opinion that truly mattered to her was that of Kou Tanaka, a classmate with whom she shared a shelter from rain once, followed by quite a few other precious and significant memories. She even succeeded at making plans to meet with the quiet and innocent boy at the summer festival, but a simple misunderstanding, and Tanaka's subsequent disappearance, left her walking the halls of her school friendless.
Now in high school, Futaba is not your typical adolescent girl. Determined to become a class favorite this time, she avoids all unwanted attention and, instead of acting cute and feminine, only stands out through her tomboyish behavior and disheveled look. But still, her world is soon turned upside down when the only boy she ever liked unexpectedly comes into her life once again—except he goes by the name of Kou Mabuchi now, and it is not his name alone that has gone through a sea change.
WHY AO HARU RIDE?
This is the first manga that I read and I love it so much. I read it before the anime came out, after I finished reading it and waiting for updates I heard that an anime for it was coming out and got really hyped. After finishing the anime I wanted a 2nd season so bad but there is still no news of there being a 2nd season coming out which saddens me and many other fans of the anime and manga. This anime is just that one anime that I want to watch when I feel like watching an anime for the heck of it cuz I can't find an anime to watch at the time. So, when I'm bored and want to watch something this is the one I will click on to watch. I love everything about it and it never gets bored. My favorite thing about this anime is the storyline and romance between the main couple. The fact that they loved each other in middle school and where each others first loves is amazing. What's more amazing is that they both change in High School but fall for one another again.
Kou and Futuba are so cute! I love them so much and they are my 3rd favorite anime couple after Kaichou wa maid-sama's couple being 1st and Kimi Ni Todoke's couple being 2nd. I love the 1st episode of Ao Haru Ride. Seeing how they meet again and their reactions are great. The soundtrack makes the anime even more enjoyable to watch. It has so many memorable scenes that are just too cute to handle and I love it!!! <3
I just cant get enough!
INUYASHA! (PLOT) -
Kagome Higurashi, a fifteen-year-old girl whose normal life ends when a demon drags her into a cursed well on the grounds of her family's Shinto shrine. Instead of hitting the bottom of the well, Kagome ends up 500 years in the past during Japan's violent Sengoku period with the demon's true target, a wish-granting jewel called the Shikon Jewel, reborn inside of her.
After a battle with a revived demon accidentally causes the sacred jewel to shatter, Kagome enlists the help of a young hybrid dog-demon/human named Inuyasha to help her collect the shards and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. Joining Kagome and Inuyasha on their quest are the orphan fox-demon Shippo, the intelligent monk Miroku, and the lethal demon slayer Sango. Together, they must set aside their differences and work together to find the power granting shards spread across feudal Japan and deal with the threats that arise.
Of course, I can watch my favorite anime over and over again. But, I wanted to choose another anime besides my favorite anime that I can watch many times and never get sick of it. One that will always keep me entertained because of it's storyline and cuteness.
Back to Inuyasha, I'm sure everyone loves rewatching their favorite anime and can never get sick of it. That's how I am with Inuyasha. It's got a great storyline, funny characters, cute scenes and overall amazing anime!
Sukitte Ii Na Yo (PLOT) -
Mei Tachibana was once a regular girl who enjoyed hanging out with her friends. But after a traumatic incident where all her so-called friends suddenly turned their backs on her, Mei's idea of friendship changed forever. In order to stop herself from ever going through the same awful experience again, she decides to stay away from people as much as possible, and ideally, to never make any friends ever again. This tactic seems to have worked relatively well in her current high school life, and she didn't at all mind being thought of as gloomy and strange. However, the appearance of Yamato Kurosawa—one of the most popular boys in her high school—shakes her stable foundation of an introvert, and makes her question whether or not her choices were indeed the right ones.
Not only does Yamato not ignore her like everyone else seems to be doing, he also decides to freely give her his phone number! As their relationship slowly develops, and is marked with an unexpected kiss, Mei is finding it very hard to adapt to this new life style, and hardest of all, to express her true feelings towards Yamato. Sukitte Ii na yo. follows their developing relationship, as well as their frequent disagreements, to portray how difficult it can really be to say "I love you."
I have always loved "Say, I Love You", it's a great anime. No, I didn't read the manga. I'm sorry. I want to though.
I love the story. It just goes to show that not all popular guys care about looks, Yamato cares more about personality and finds Mei interesting and attractive when she kicks him. I never get sick of watching this relatable and cute anime. I love the main characters because there personalities are so real and they go through real life situations. They show their struggles and sadness. I can watch this whenever I want some cute romance. I love how caring and sweet Yamato is. He isn't afraid to admit that he likes Mei, he holds her hand in public and openly shows that he loves her. She is afraid that she will hurt his image but he doesn't care which is admirable. He will protect her and try his best to make her feel secure even if it means to stop being a model. He stopped being a model and stopped hanging out with the female model because it was hurting Mei and she couldn't take it. It was breaking her heart to watch him taking pictures with a beautiful girl and holding her hand. This show broke my heart throughout many scenes. I went on a feels trip with Mei but in the end it had a good ending.
I think Say, I Love You is the anime I've actually rewatched the most. I would say that I've watched it all the way through at least 6 times. It's just so good!
I encourage all of you to do this challenge along with me, or just say in the comments what anime can YOU rewatch and never get sick of!
