I have no idea what happened, but I hope you guys like it. I'll update "Let's Go Back" when I get a chance in the next couple of days. *Flashbacks are in bold
My Butterfly Y/N’s heart beat could be heard across the room and she could feel herself start to sweat from her forehead. As soon as the music started to play, she felt her heart drop to the floor and wanted oh so desperately to be anywhere else but here. She felt a slight push on her back before she started to move. Her long dress gently swayed along with her as she walked. A thousand eyes watched her make her way down, a smile on their faces, completely unaware of what was going on in Y/N’s head. The music continued, but it soon sounded like a funeral march to Y/N’s ears. All she could right now was to take a deep breath and accept her death sentence. A bright young man dressed in a white tuxedo stood at the end of the line. He smiled as she slowly made her way to him and she would give anything to be able to read his mind right now. He was supposed to help her, not be the cause of her death. “I can’t do this Junhyung,” Y/N yelled out. “I can’t marry him. I can’t.” She held the other even tighter as she cried onto his chest. “Y/N,” he cooed as he gently ran his fingers through her hair. “You need to tell your father, not me.” “But he won’t listen to me. He said it was a done deal; that this was the only way to save the company,” she continued. “But I don’t want to get married. I still have my whole life to live.” “You’d have to get married eventually,” he whispered. “And Junsu is a wonderful guy. He wouldn’t hold you down.” She shook her head before pulling away. “I don’t care. It’s too early, Jun. So please, help me.” Because she would rather be dead than marry him. The music stopped, marking her arrival. The man slowly reached for her hands and gently held them. He gave her a slight nod before gesturing to turns towards the priest in front of them. “Are you okay Y/N,” he whispered, giving her hand a tight squeeze. She held her breath as the priest started to give his opening remarks, too angry for words. The man beside her sighed in defeat and left her be. Throughout the priest’s remarks, her tears had slowly started to build up. She tried so hard to stop them, but some slowly started to slip down her cheeks. A million thought started to run through her head. How could he do this to me? He said he would help me. Not this. “I have a plan,” Junhyung said after dragging her into his office. “Will you go along with it?” “Of course,” Y/N replied gleefully. “Junhyung,” the priest suddenly said, snapping Y/N out of her thoughts. “Do you take Y/N as your lawfully wedded wife?” Junhyung turned towards Y/N and, seeing her tears, forced a sad smile on his face. He slowly shook his head as he squeezed her hand once again. “No, I don’t,” he said. A collection of gasps made its way throughout the whole room. “What’s the meaning of this,” Y/N’s father yelled out loud. But nothing could compare to Y/N’s reaction as he leaned closer and whispered in her ear. “I promised.” He pulled away from her and gave her another smile. “There’s a car waiting for you outside. Now go.” It took a while for everything to click, but Y/N quickly pulled on her wedding gown and ran for the exit that Junhyung had been pointing out. Junhyung felt his heart drop as he watched her leave. He knew this would happen, but he didn’t know that it would affect him so much. “Good bye, my butterfly,” he whispered before turning towards the crowd and dealing with the aftermath. “I’ll take care of your family’s business,” Junhyung said. “I’ll talk to your father and see what we can do about a merge.” Y/N’s eyes widened in excitement before running towards him and hugging him tightly. “Really,” she choked out. “You’d do that? For me?” “Of course I would,” he said, setting her down and brushing her hair to the side of her face. He felt his heart skip a beat as he watched her ramble about, not completely listening to what she was saying. “Junhyung,” Y/N said, pulling him back into the conversation. “Yes,” he asked, giving her a smile. She giggled at his response. “You’re dozing off again,” she said, pulling him to his couch to take a take. He shook his head and took a seat next to her. “Now, what were you saying?” “So how are you going to pull it off,” she asked. “Just go along with it and you’ll see,” he said, tapping her nose playfully. She sighed and laid her head down onto his lap. “My father wants me to get married no matter what, so as long as I don’t have to do that, I’ll go along with anything you say,” she said before yawning. He watched as her eye lids started to flutter close. “You have no idea how lucky I am to have you Junhyung. I love you.” Y/N’s eyes finally fluttered closed. She finally relaxed, he thought. He reached for her hands and held them tight. “I love you too.”
