Hello!! Here's chapter 3. Thank you for reading my story, I hope it's been enjoyable thus far. Many of the characters aside from BTS are made up. And, of course, I don't know BTS personally so their personalities are probably mostly fictional. Character thoughts are in {} and words in English are bolded. Let me know if you would like to be tagged in future chapters. Please forgive me for any mistakes I make and I hope you enjoy!

Rose’s POV
I was embarrassed. Namjoon was embarrassed. The other boys looked like they were having the time of their lives. {Can we please move on?}
“Can we please move on?” Yoongi asked without lifting his head up. {Please God, let’s do that}.
“Yes!” Namjoon and I blurted at the same time. The boys giggled again.
Manager Park spoke up. “Yes, we’re here work, so perhaps we should start talking about it.” I looked at him trying to convey my gratitude. Then I looked at Namjoon and we both blushed and hurriedly looked away. {Oh my gosh, we need to move on}. I hurriedly sat down in my seat and waited for the boys to get to theirs. And boy did they take their time. Once everyone was finally settled, I looked at Manager Park to start the meeting.
“Alright, boys. Can we start now?” He ‘asked’. “Good, let’s begin. Rose-sshi, you are familiar with BTS—“
That started a round of the same troublemakers asking “Are you a fan?” “Who’s your bias?” “What’s your favorite song?” The manager cut off their questions.
“Enough. Behave yourselves.” Then he directed his attention to me. “I’m sorry about their behavior. They’re not usually like this when it comes to business.”
I laughed, “It’s fine. I’m at least somewhat familiar with their personalities. I didn’t expect them to recognize me, but I fully expected them to mess around.”
Taehyung leaned over the table more and looked me straight in the eye, a goofy grin on his face. “So you are a fan.”
“I can answer that question at least. Yes, I am a fan. I enjoy your music and you guys seem to genuinely care about your music, your fans, and each other. That’s the most important part. You may have to act differently for your fans, but you aren’t fake. I like that. It’s a good trait to see.”
“Awwwww...” sighed Hoseok and Jimin.
“So who’s your bias?” Jin asked cocking an eyebrow.
“That... I am not telling.” I laughed at the faces they made when I said that. “So, back to work. What exactly do you need me to do? Julie didn’t tell anything except that I would be working with you guys. I’m guessing it’s not a translator because Rapmon-sshi is more than capable of that. That only leaves tutoring. But why would you need a tutor? I mean, I heard rumors of an English album being made, but there wasn’t much information to go with that.”
“Since your company has a nondisclosure agreement with all of its clients, I can confirm that those rumors are actually true. We don’t want to make an official announcement until the boys get some more practice with English.” I nodded my head.
“Makes sense.”
Jin started nudging Yoongi who still had his head on the table. “Yoongi-ah. Wake up. At least pretend that you’re interested,” the older boy chastised.
“It’s ok. Don’t worry about it. I know you guys work really hard. Manager Park told me that you guys were practicing last night and I’m guessing Suga-sshi has been working on music aside from that. I’m sure all of you guys are exhausted and I’m sorry this was scheduled so early in the morning. I want us to finish this as soon as we can so you guys can get some down time.” At this, Yoongi finally lifted his head, one eye open. He rested his chin on his arms he had lying on the table.
“It’s nice to know that not all our fans think that we’re messing around all the time,” Jimin stated giving his signature eye-smile. The other boys nodded their heads and made noises of agreement.
“Most of the fans know that. It’s a small percentage who think otherwise. It’s just that, unfortunately, that small percentage are loud mouths who don’t know anything except the stupid fantasy world they have created about their favorite bands and celebrities and think that the world revolves around themselves.”
“Yep. We’re keeping her,” Hoseok said, jumping up from his chair and sitting next to me, his arm slung around my shoulder.
“Hyung, why do you get her all to yourself?” Taehyung asked indignantly joining Hoseok but on the other side of me.
“Behave yourselves boys,” Their manager warned. “Sit back in your seats.” They mumbled under their breaths as they slowly walked back to their seats on the other side of the table, pouting the whole way. “Still think you can handle them, Rose-sshi?”
“Yes sir, they remind me of my younger siblings. It’s refreshing seeing them so relaxed and playful. How do you plan to do this anyway?”
“Well, I was originally planning on having you help the ones with the worst English, and have Namjoon-ah keep working with the others, but seeing you, I don’t think Jungkook-ah will be able to work properly.” He nodded towards the boy who still couldn’t look at you in the eyes for more than a split second. “I knew that you were a female, which he normally might or might not be able to work with, but I didn’t know that you were a foreigner or that you would be so pretty. That’s a deadly combination for him.” I laughed off his compliment. “What I think I might do instead—“
“I can work with her,” Jungkook piped up, still not looking at me.
“You can’t even look at her,” Jin laughed.
“Yes, I can,” Jungkook stated full of confidence. Then he looked me straight in the eye—for about a second before he jerked his eyes away, a deeper red creeping up his cheeks. The rest of the boys laughed, even Yoongi and Namjoon.
“I take it back. You can’t look at her for more than a second.” The boys kept laughing.
“Well, what I was going to say is that what we can do is just get everyone together and you can help everyone and Namjoon can be there to back you up.” Manager Park suggested. “If that sounds alright with you.”
“Sounds good to me. When and where do you want me to start?” The boys looked at their manager expectantly.
“Well, for the where, we could start with working at the dorm. That way you guys can be more comfortable. However, let me know if they are not working properly and we can find a place here for you guys to work.”
“Hyung, we can work from the dorm. We’ll behave and work hard,” Jimin said. The other boys adamantly agreed. {Yeah, right}. Yoongi looked at me. He smirked as if he had read my mind. I smiled back at him. It was the first expression he had given me since meeting him. And it suited him well. Namjoon looked at the both of us.
“What does that look mean?” Namjoon asked, suspicious.
“It means,” Yoongi sat up, “that she doesn’t think we can behave, and I think it’s funny.”
“Awwwww. Have you no faith in us?” Taehyung piped up.
“We’ll try it. And see how long it works,” I acquiesced.
The boys started jumping up. “Yes!!!”
“So when do you want me to start?” I asked looking at Manager Park.
“Well, today’s Tuesday...they have a lot of schedules this week...” He referred to the schedule on his tablet. “Is it alright to start next week?”
“Yeah, that sounds great. Let Julie know the time and she’ll adjust my schedule.”
“Okay. Then, if it’s okay with you, I’m going to go take care of something for a little bit. If you want to leave, you can, but you can also stay here for a little and get to know them a little better if you’d like.” The boys looked at me pleadingly. Some of them were actually sticking out there bottom lips and giving me puppy-dog eyes. I rolled my eyes.
“Not because of the puppy-dog eyes, but sure, I’ll stay. I’d be good to get to know the real them.” They high-fived each other. “But it won’t be for too long, they should go rest up.”
“Alright. I’ll leave you to it then. Don’t feel obligated to stay, you can leave whenever you want.”
“Thanks. I’ll keep that in mind,” I said pointedly looking at the high-five crew. They just smiled at me. {Smug little bastards}. I laughed to myself. Once again, Yoongi was looking at me like he could read my mind. Their manager left and most of the boys immediately jumped up to run to my side of the table. Yoongi got up and laid down on the couch a few steps from him. Jungkook got up, but was too scared to get too close to me. I sat on the table and faced the boys.
“So, do you have questions for me? Or are you just going to play?”
“We have questions—“
“That I may or may not answer,” I interrupted Hoseok. Which of course made him pout. “Also, try to ask in English. I want to find out your level so I can plan accordingly. And Rapmon-sshi, you can ask questions, but please let them ask too. I don’t need to gauge your level.”
“Ha! That means Jungkook can’t ask questions,” Taehyung laughed.
“Hey, back off my Kookie,” Jimin jumped in, defending Jungkook.
“So. Jikook is real?” I asked.
“In your dreams, hyung,” Jungkook fought back. Were all started laughing hard and Jimin tried to grab Jungkook, who easily deflected. We heard Yoongi yelling at us to stop being so loud and it set us off even more.
“You know,” Jimin saunters over to me with what I’m guessing is supposed to be a sexy look. To me, though, he just looked adorable. I could help but giggle, “You look even more beautiful when you smile.” I put my finger on his chest, keeping him at arm’s length.
“Jimin-sshi, your blatant flirting is adorable. Ineffective, but adorable.” He looked surprised for a second, but went back to his ‘sexy’ look.
He continued, “You don’t have to call me Jimin-sshi. You can just call me ‘oppa’.” I started cracking up even more.
Trying to catch my breath, I countered, “You’re not my oppa. How old do you think I am anyways?” The boys looked at each other with surprise.
“20? In Korean years...” He now sounded very uncertain. I started laughing again.
“Oh my gosh! I love you forever Jimin-sshi! You know, I have a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree.”
“What?!” they practically yelled. I even heard Yoongi sit up on the couch.
“Jimin-sshi, my younger sister is older than you.” Another round of exclamations. This time Namjoon asked.
“So how old are you?”
“I’m older than all of you.” More looks of disbelief. “I’m 24 in American years, so 25 in Korean years.”
“That’s not even possible!” Jimin looked crestfallen.
“What? You don’t like older girls?” I nudged him teasingly. He was flustered for a moment before he finally answered.
“I just like to be called oppa,” he mumbled. We all started laughing again. I felt really comfortable with these guys. Too comfortable. {I need to stop. I only feel close to them because I’ve been a fan for so long. That’s how all the fans feel, that we know our idols. But we don’t actually know them. They just make us feel like we do. I shouldn’t be like that}. I didn’t realize that my expression changed until Namjoon spoke up.
“Is there something wrong, noona?” My head jerked up to look at him.
“Um, not exactly, but kind of.” He waited for me to continue. “Mmm. How do I say it... I just realized that I got comfortable with you guys too fast. It’s a side effect of being a fan. We feel like we know our idols when we’ve never actually met them. We only see things that they post or filtered things that they say. We don’t really know you guys as people. But it’s easy to fall into that state of mind. You probably shouldn’t call me ‘noona’. You only just met me. I apologize for behaving like that. You guys really do seem like you are the people you try to make people see. That’s one thing I’ve always like about BTS, you guys aren’t fake. You filter what you let out, but it’s still part of who you are. But until we get to actually know each other, we should probably not call each other too comfortably.” They looked at each other again.
“Not that we can’t be friendly!” I clarified. “Just that we have to remember that we don’t actually know each other. Do you know what I mean? I just don’t want to overstep any boundaries.” Some of the boys looked confused. Yoongi was nodding his head and Namjoon put his hand on my shoulder.
“I understand, Rose-sshi. And I like that. I think I like you even more now,” he laughed playfully.
“Sorry to have killed the mood.” {I hope the other boys didn’t take offense to it}. Then they started smiling again.
“We get it,” Hoseok said. “That just means that we have to get to know you better!” He nudged Taehyung playfully.
“ you guys have any other questions? Preferably in English this time.”
So, now the boys are fully involved. I know it was a little slow, but I had fun with the playful banter. I do hope you enjoyed it as well. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments, constructive criticism is always welcome. And please let me know if you would like to be tagged in further chapters.
