Drama plotline that made you want to (or almost ) rage quit.

This show, without a doubt, would have made me rage quit if it wasn't for the lead actor Lee Jung Suk.

Lee Jung Suk plays Park Hoon,

A genius doctor who was kidnapped from South Korea and brought to North Korea with his father when he was a child.

He grows up in North Korea and learns to be a doctor from his father. During his time there he meets and falls in love with Song Jae-hee...

Jin Se-yeon plays as Song Jae-hee / Han Seung-hee.

So I don't want to give anything away for those who haven't seen the show yet but stuff happens and they couldn't be together. Blah blah blah, moving on.... (can you tell I don't really like this character?? )

Kang Sora plays Oh Soo Hyun,

Daughter of the chairman at Myungwoo Hospital. She meets Park Hoon there and funny antics ensue. (including but not limited to the kicking of male body parts and the occasional slap)
Okay so, me being me, didn't read (or maybe just ignored) the summery before I actually started watching this. Which outright tells you that it's about first love and what you go through to keep it. I blame it on my love for Lee Jung Suk and I just overlooked that KEY detail. Anyway I digress.

So after all the beginning crap happens we're met with Park Hoon in South Korea. The love of his life is missing, he's dressing like a broke college kid, and somehow he lands a job at Myungwoo Hospital with his insane doctor-ness. That's where he meets Oh Soo Hyun. The chemistry between these two for the next couple of episodes leads you to believe that Hoon and Soo Hyun will be a thing. I mean all the kdrama logic that we've been conditioned to fallow points to this.

Song Jae-hee / Han Seung-hee comes into the picture like nothing bad ever happened. Like she didn't LIE to him for YEARS and let him think that she DIED. I mean come on. Walking around in her shorts like she owns the place. Girl, please.

But wait, there's more!

She also happens to be pretending to not know who Park Hoon even is. To top it all off she now has psychopathic tendencies. (She carries a gun and points it at people, not to mention the stank face she throws everywhere)
I was just so excited about the idea of his first love turning out to be the bad guy and Hoon-a falling for someone who actually deserves his love and just afsmfggdf....

I almost gave up this show just because it kept giving me hope and then it would snatch it away.

I guess I just had a really bad case of Second Female Lead Syndrome.

So yeah. I definitely raged while writing this in case you were wondering.
If you want to see the full 30-Day challenge list you can find it here on my other card. Tag me if you decide to do the challenge with me! I'd love to see what you come up with!!
@gamerKyumin I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this way. πŸ˜…
@cindystran Oh my gosh, yes! I completely forgot about the female leads...(Lee Jong Suk distracted me...) But I loved Kang Sora in this too! Like, her and Jong Suk's acting saved this drama, in my opinion. I didn't like the female lead either, like, bro. She needed to calm down and control herself πŸ˜‚
@GamerKyumin I feel like you can relate to this! :)
