Hello everyone! Here's Chapter 9. Thank you to everyone who has been reading my story. I'm at 8k views and that makes me extremely happy. I will continue to try to not disappoint.
Disclaimer: Many of the characters aside from BTS are made up. And, of course, I don't know BTS personally so their personalities are probably mostly fictional. Also, for this chapter, I don't know much about the process of translating lyrics, etc. so please bear with me. I just made it fit with the story line.
Character thoughts are in { } and words in English are bolded. Let me know if you would like to be tagged in future chapters. Please forgive me for any mistakes I make and I hope you enjoy!

Narrator POV
The songs looked like they would take longer than the three had originally thought that they would. It was hard to make the rhymes they had written in Korean work out in English while still giving the same message. Even the ones Namjoon had written in English were a bit complicated. Some things made technical sense but not practical sense. The meaning of the songs were hard to accurately convey. After working on it for about an hour, Jin came out to start making dinner.
“Any requests?” he asked the three in the living room while walking to the kitchen. There was no response. He looked back and saw them absorbed in the papers in front of them. He smiled at how immersed they were and decided to not ask again.
After Jin finished making dinner, he yelled from the kitchen that dinner was ready. The boys in the ‘triplets’’ room opened the door and started tripping over each other to get to the table. The three working on the songs looked like they hadn’t even heard him. They were still hunched over the table discussing things and gesticulating.
Taehyung leaned over the back of the couch and yelled, “DINNER’S READY!!!” causing the three of them to jump.
“You didn’t need to yell in our ears,” Yoongi glared and the other two joined.
“Actually, he did,” Hoseok defended. “Jin already yelled nicely and we’ve been yelling at you guys from the table for the past minute or so. Namjoon sighed and stood up. He made noises as his legs adjusted to him standing. He went to the table while the other two turned back to the computer.
“Just a minute...” Rose trailed off. Yoongi grunted in agreement. The boys looked at them and then back at each other.
“Well, they’re both workaholics I guess,” Jimin noted. The other boys nodded their heads in agreement.
“Just start eating,” Jin told them.
“Yes, mom,” they all answered and started laughing.
Five minutes later, Rose and Yoongi didn’t look like they were any closer to finishing. Jin got up and sighed.
He walked in front of the two and said, “Ok guys, dinner time. You can work on that after you eat.” They only grunted and continued talking about one of the verses. Jin sighed again and shut the lid of the laptop.
“Hey!” They both yelled. He gave them his ‘mother is talking to you’ look and crossed his arms waiting for them to get up.
“Fine,” Yoongi acquiesced. Rose saw Yoongi get up so she decided to join, it’s not like she could work on it by herself.
“You really do act like the mom,” Rose laughed. “I’m older than you but I still feel like I have to listen.”
Jin smiled at her. “That’s because you know better.” He walked back to the table with the two trailing behind them. Rose ended up sitting between Hoseok and Jimin while Yoongi was directly across the table sitting between Namjoon and Taehyung.
“So, noona, are you as bad a workaholic as Yoongi-hyung?” Hoseok asked turning to her. Yoongi glared at him and Rose held her hand up asking for him to wait until she was done chewing.
She finished and said, “Well, I like working, and when I have time for it, I try to get as much done as I can.”
“Is that why you look tired a lot, noona?” Jungkook piped up. Hoseok elbowed him.
“Well, thank you Jungkook-ah. That’s what every girl wants to hear,” she laughed at him teasingly. He turned red.
“Sorry. I, uh, didn’t mean you looked bad, just that, uh, whenever we see you, it looks like-like the time when we came to your house and you hadn’t slept much. B-but not that you look bad. Just, uh, just, uh, y’know...” he started stuttering trying to cover for himself. Rose laughed.
“Don’t worry, I was just teasing,” she leaned across Hoseok and patted Jungkook’s hand. “I won’t argue with you. There’s only so much makeup can cover, no matter how good I am.”
“You’re not sleeping?” Jin asked with concern.
“Ah, well, I, uh, I just have trouble sleeping. And so I work. I work because I can’t sleep and I can’t sleep bec—I just can’t sleep very well.” Her eyes darted down, like she was trying to not look like she was hiding something. “I guess, it’s like insomnia.” She brought her eyes to meet Jin’s again. “I have trouble falling asleep and when I do sleep, it’s not for very long... So y’know, I’m tired. That’s all.” She immediately started eating again.
“You should at least rest though. Maybe you can fall asleep better like that. “
“I don’t want—“ she paused, catching herself, “to waste time. You know, trying to sleep when I can’t. I don’t like doing nothing.” {It sounded like she was going to say she doesn’t want to sleep}, Jin thought. The other older boys thought something similar. The maknaes seemed to take it at face value. Jimin put his arm around her shoulder.
“Well, if you’re ever bored, you can always hit us up. I know we have a lot of work, but we can always try to find free time for you.”
“Yeah, don’t abandon us,” Taehyung was giving his best puppy dog look. Rose leaned across the table and ruffled his hair.
“Don’t say it like that, silly.” They all started laughing. Yoongi had decided to focus on eating so he could get back to work. The rest of them continued having silly conversations and laughing. Rose nudged Yoongi’s foot under the table. He looked up, ready to glare at whoever had done it. Rose caught his attention and traced a dramatic smile on her face silently telling him to smile too. He couldn’t help but smile for a split second before he caught himself. He looked back at his food as if there was something suddenly very interesting there. She smiled even wider and continued laughing with the boys. {Why did my stomach just feel like it did a somersault?} Yoongi thought. {Not in a bad way, though. I... actually kind of liked the feeling. What is wrong with me? I shouldn’t think things like this about her. But I really want her to keep looking at me like that...}
Namjoon was looking at Hoseok when Rose had started gesturing at Yoongi so he saw what happened. He didn’t quite feel jealous, but he couldn’t figure out what he did feel. {She tries to hide it, but she definitely likes him. She tries to give everyone the same amount of attention, but I see it. Her expression is a little more gentle with him, her smile lasts a little longer when she’s smiling at him, her fingers linger a little bit longer on his shoulder... she tries to stay a little bit further away from him. She likes him. She doesn’t like that she does, but she likes him. And I think he might be starting to like her...}
Dinner was finished and people started leaving the table when Rose spoke up. “Hold up! We haven’t had dessert yet.”
Jin rubbed the back of his neck, a little embarrassed. “Sorry, noona, I didn’t make anything for dessert. I didn’t even think about it.”
She patted his shoulder. “Don’t worry Jin-ah, I was hoping you didn’t.” Jin gave a confused expression. Rose walked back towards the entrance area and came back with a large freezer shoulder-bag. She set it on the table and began taking the contents out of the chilled cases. The younger ones immediately got excited and started grabbing at the fruit she had set out. She smacked their hands away. “Wait a second! You guys need to chill out a sec.” She laughed.
“Can I use a platter if you have one, please?” She directed at Jin. “Oh, and a glass bowl please.”
“Of course, noona.” He said and he started rummaging through the cabinets. He came back a moment later with what looked like a sandwich tray and a medium-sized glass mixing bowl.
“Perfect. Thank you.” She started unloading the fruit onto the trays.
Yoongi still had a confused expression on his face when he asked, “Where in the world did that come from? How did you manage to hide it?”
“I saw her with it when she came in, but I didn’t even notice she didn’t have it later and I completely forgot to ask her about it,” Jungkook answered for her.
Namjoon leaned over the table and grabbed the bowl. “What’s this for?”
“You’ll see in a sec.” She finished unloading the tray and Taehyung started to rummage in the bag. He brought out a smaller bag and started turning it over.
“What’s this?”
She grabbed it out of his hands and said, “Just watch.” She opened the bag and emptied the contents into the glass bowl. The bowl was filled with large brown wafers.
“What is it?” Hoseok asked, making a face.
“This, my beloved little ones,” she paused dramatically, “is dipping chocolate. Fondue.” Their eyes grew wide as her words soaked in. {Chocolate!!!}
Rose put the bowl in the microwave and started heating the chocolate. While it was heating, the impatient ones started popping the pieces of fruit in their mouth while Jin tried to smack their hands away. He ended up taking the tray away until the chocolate was finished. Rose finally took it out with oven mitts and stirred it. She set the bowl back on the table and put the mitts away. Taehyung moved like he was going to grab the bowl. Rose grabbed the bowl away from him and then immediately let go and started waving her hands to cool them off. “You need to be careful Taehyung-ah, it’s hot.”
Namjoon grabbed her hands and turned them palm up. “Are you okay?” He asked worriedly.
She laughed, “Don’t worry, it’s not that hot.” Yoongi glared at Namjoon’s hands that were still holding Rose’s. Hoseok saw Yoongi’s glare and snorted to himself. {He’s jealous. And he probably doesn’t even realize it. This will be...interesting to say the least}. He frowned. {But I really hope this doesn’t create a problem between them. They have to work closer together than any of the rest of us}.
Rose pulled her hands back and used the cloth bag to move it back to the middle of the table. “Okay boys, dig in. Just don’t touch the bowl and cool down the chocolate before you eat it.” She took a piece of fruit as she surveyed the boys. Their faces showed the heaven they were in and she couldn’t help but feel really happy about that. She liked spoiling people; it was one of her best traits....and could sometimes be one of the worst things for her.
As she let her gaze wander, she looked over to Jimin who was eating the fruit plain while eyeing the bowl of chocolate. {Ahhh, that’s right. He worries too much about his body image. Well, if he won’t do it himself, then I’ll do it for him}. Rose dipped a strawberry in chocolate and walked over to Jimin. She held the strawberry to his eyelevel. She could see the internal battle he was having.
He smiled, “It’s ok, noona, I like the plain fruit.”
“Liar,” she stated and held the strawberry just in front of his mouth.
“Don’t you know it’s rude to refuse when someone is trying to feed you? Open up, say ‘ah’!” He didn’t need much of a push for him eat the chocolate. He really did want to eat it.
Taehyung started to whine, “Noona, why does—“ Yoongi elbowed him and jerked his head towards Jimin. {Ahhhh…}
“What’s up, Taehyung?” Rose turned to him.
“Oh nothing, I was just gonna say that you should put more chocolate on it next time.” Rose smiled.
“I should, huh?” She grabbed a piece of cantaloupe, dipped it generously in chocolate, and turned back to feed Jimin. He shyly ate the fruit, this time not even bothering to protest.
“NoonaNoonaNoona!” Taehyung clamored past the other boys with a chocolate-dipped strawberry in his hand. “You’re gonna eat too, right?” He tripped on a chair leg and accidently shoved the fruit at her lips. She pulled back as the chocolate covered her upper lip to the tip of her nose.
The boys burst out laughing as she made a face and whined, “Taehyung….”
“Sorry, noona,” He laughed.
“Somehow I doubt that,” she glared at him pretending to be mad. Rose leaned over the table to grab a napkin. As she reached over, Yoongi put the fingers of one hand under her chin, lifting it up to face him. He grabbed a napkin and started to wipe the sticky chocolate off. She and the other boys froze wide-eyed. Her breath caught in her throat and her heart was racing. {W-what is he doing?}
Ok, so there's chapter 9. A couple things about this chapter.
1) I don't actually know how Jimin is about his eating but I think everyone has heard the horrible things people said about him a while ago. I can't stand people like that. I just want to let all of you know that you are perfect the way you are. As long as you are healthy then your pants size, bra size, skin color, hair color, eye color, all the things the world likes to call 'imperfections', are irrelevant. You are you and you are perfect. If anyone tells you differently, they're not worth the time it would take to tell them off. So I wrote that part in order to say that. I know idols are held to an even higher standard than the rest of us, but they are still people and deserve to be treated as such. Jimin and his abs and right now Taehyung and his tan...people need to take a chill pill and severely need a reality check.
2) On a lighter note, I always thought that the whole wiping away the food on the face thing was so cheesy, but I couldn't help it. I thought it'd be funny to write and would add a little bit to the story in the next couple chapters.
3) I'm pretty sure they don't really do cantaloupe in Korea, they have other melons, but since I haven't tasted them, I have no idea what would go good with chocolate. So oh well.
Aside from those, thank you to everyone who's reading, liking, following, or asking me to tag, it's very encouraging. Please don't hesitate to ask questions or comment. Constructive criticism is always welcome. I hope you will continue to enjoy my story and I hope to see you next chapter!!!

@SNBlackRose Pineapple makes my mouth and tongue break out so I don't know why it's a craving now. I can't eat it, so maybe that's why. I think too many vocal fans want to see the six pack abs. Right now, I can't look at Baekhyun, as you can see his ribs a bit. It makes me sick to think what he had to do to obtain that look. Jun K. is another one that shouldn't have those kinds of abs (and I'm so glad Taec looks healthy in his new drama).
@JaxomB I don't like pineapple but chocolate in general sounds awesome, lol. For body image, I hate that about all the bands. That they are forced to go to extreme measures to "look good". I think it's a combo of the company and the fans fault for basically requiring it. So I completely understand
Now I'm hungry, and I really want some pineapple dipped in chocolate (though I don't have a clue why it needs to be pineapple). As far as body image goes, right now I hate that EXO did extreme dieting and exercise to get the abs for the fans. It's just not healthy.
@ysmn016 Thank you! I hope you will continue to enjoy my story. I will do my best to not disappoint
Really i love this story so much 😍
