Fact: Leeteuk is afraid of being alone, when he was in the hospital, he asked Donghae and Ryeowook to stay overnight with him
Heechul - July 10, 1983
Fact: Because Heechul’s personality is quite sensitive, he draws a line when he sleeps on the bed. If anyone crosses the line, they will be kicked out. The people that can sleep with Heechul is Kibum and Typhoon (The Trax).
Hangeng - February 9, 1984
Fact: In 2002 he passed the SM Entertainment’s audition in China. He was one out of the 3000 to pass the auditions. He left for Korea. His family was poor, so when he left he didn’t ask for money and left with an empty wallet. Using a vacation visa, he left to a country where he wouldn’t know anyone, without money and without knowing any Korean words. After 2 more years of hard training, Hangeng made his debut as a member of the new project group “Super Junior 05″ together with 11 Korean guys. These 12 reached fame, but several months later something very harsh happened. Since Hangeng was the first Chinese person to debut in Korea, Hangeng and SM didn’t know about the laws. Hangeng found out that his visa was wrong, and that he was no longer allowed to perform until the Visa problem had been solved. There was also a law saying that foreigners could only perform on 3 TV channels. Basically, Hangeng was told that he would be fined or even kicked out of Korea if he performed on TV. Wanting to help the band, Hangeng came up with an idea.. Would it be possible to stay by their side (super junior) if no one knew who he was? Since he wore a mask… he was able to perform. He continued to wear his mask for 2-3 months. He was seen as a backup dancer. The members tried to comfort him, but still he was in deep pain. He always told his mother on the phone that everything was okay. His lines had to be lip-synched by other members while he was still hiding in the back.

Yesung - August 24, 1984
Fact: When the accident happened to SJ in 2007, Yesung cried for Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Shindong and Kyuhyun who were involved in the accident. Leeteuk: “He even told me not to worry because there he will keep all members SJ.” Yesung said to Kyuhyun who is seriously injured in that accident: “If you heal, I will not be angry anymore though you always making fun of me.”
Kangin - January 17, 1985
Fact: The name “KANGIN” was given to him to suit his personality., Kangin means “strong benevolence:, a strong but nice person.
Shindong - September 28, 1985
Fact: Once Shindong heard 2 highschool girls walking past him saying “there’s Shindong the other girl say "really" so the girl went to see if its really him then she said “its not him!”
Sungmin - January 1, 1986
Fact: When Sungmin was asked to finish the sentence, “Super Junior is..” He replied “a theme park”
Eunhyuk - April 4, 1986
Fact: The member voted Eunhyuk as the member who watches the most Yadong (erotic video). There was an article that came out that said, “ Eunhyuk is a Yadong Mania”. After the article came out, his mom called him and asked him, “did I raise you to be this way?”
Siwon - April 7, 1986
Fact: Siwon often gives injuries to other members accidentally, since he can’t control his strength.
Donghae - October 15, 1986
Fact: Donghae who is quite weak in health, often loses sleep at night. Sungmin who lives with him would fall asleep easily at the count of three, leaving Donghae to roll and flip around in bed trying to fall asleep.
Ryeowook - June 21, 1987
Fact: He would go to his hyungs’ rooms at night, when they ask why he is there he would say,”I just wanna be with hyung for awhile, can I?”
Kibum - August 21, 1987
Fact: He always say that being a singer is God’s will. This is because when Kibum was living in America, he went to church every week. And on one of the week after service, he and his group of friends went to eat spicy rice cake. Unfortunately he lost his way. And that's when he met one of the SM person that asked him to join.
Kyuhyun - February 3, 1988
Fact: He loves playing online games (such as Starcraft) so much and is known for his exceptional gaming skills, so much so that he was nicknamed ‘GameKyu’ [see GameKyu Saga]. He expressed in radio interviews that if he wasn’t a singer, he’d like to be a professional gamer. He has said that gaming helps him relax. He is well-known for liking the game Star Craft, in particular.
