I just started to get into shoujo this year, since I couldn't find any good ones at first. Now I found some good ones so here they are~ They're all licensed in english to buy as well.
Seiyuu ka! (Voice over! Seiyu Academy)
Seiyuu ka is one of the best comedy series I've ever read. It's about a 15 year old girl, Kino Hime. She just started as a first year in high school for voice actors, since her dream is to become the main voice actor of a populair japanese tv show. The only problem is that her voice isn't really suited for voice acting. Later on they find out her voice is really good for a male character, even do she wanted to become a magical girl voice actor. After not wanting to, she decides to try her best with her guy like voice, but she has to dress up as a guy! The romance is also there, but the focus is on the voice acting, it's extremely hilarious and also cute~
Watashi ga Motete Dousunda (Kiss him, Not me)
This manga is just perfect for a fujoshi like me, it's extremely hilarious and has lots of yaoi fan jokes in it! It's also from one of my personal favourite yaoi mangakas ever, Junko. The manga is about a girl called Serinuma Kae, she ships 2 of her classmates secretly~ One day her favourite anime character dies, and she locks herself in her room and loses weight rapidly. Now that she's changed into a beauty four of her classmates start to like her, and the story goes on from that point. It's just a hilarious series, that's extremelt unrealistic but fun to read! and ofcourse it shows the way of a crazy fujoshi's life~
Kobayashi Ga Kawai Sugite Tsurai!! (So cute it hurts!)
This series is extremely comedic, but also extremely romantic and cute. The story starts with the Kobayashi twins, Mego and Mitsuru. When Mitsuru is in danger of losing his weekends to extra history classes, he convinces his sister to cross dress as him and ace his history tests. After all, how hard can it be for them to play each other? The only problem is, that Mego wasn't prepared for Mitsuru's all-boy's delinquent highschool, and Mitsuru finds out life as a highschool girl is way more complicated then he thought! It's a cute, romantic and hilarious series. The only problem is, that if you would like to read this entirely, buying the licensed series would be better, since reading it online is almost impossible with the amount of updates.
Horimiya is just a fun, comedy romance series, that relaxes you. No unwanted 1000 year drama, just a simple fun manga with a cute couple. It's starts like this, Hori is your average teenage girl, she has a side she wants no one else to ever find about. Then there's her classmate Miyamura, your generic glasses-wearing boy in school and a totally different person outside. When the two meet unexpectedly, they discover each others' secrets and develop an unexpected friendship. It's a great read for people looking for a less dramatic story, more school life relaxed shoujo that also makes you laugh.
Oresama teacher made me laugh immediately. Well, not really a surprise there, since it's from the same manga from Gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun. This series is about Kurosaki Mafuyu, and ex-juvenile delinquent and old schoolgang head. She got expelled from her old school and got transferred to a new school. She's determinated to become an “ultra-shiny, super feminine high school student.” But with her new friend Hayasaka and her homeroom teacher Saeki Takaomi, it get's harder then expected. It's a great series with mostly comedy and a little romance-ish vibes. Lots of new, fun characters are introduced throughout the series, and all of them have their own great fun personality. If you want a mostly comedy series, with little to almost no romance in it, then Oresama Teacher is the best!
Some other great Comedy shoujo series - Meteor prince & First love monster (Both are series you gotta buy if you wanna follow them since they never, or almost never get updated online, Meteor prince however, only has 2 volumes in total) and a great mangaka for comedy shoujo series is Motomi Kyousuke!
