DAY 50 - Favorite studio ghibli work?

Howl's Moving Castle (PLOT) -
A young girl is forced to toil in her parents' hat shop and her only joy is in her occasional meetings with a handsome stranger, Howl the wizard. When a witch sees her happiness, she curses her to become old in a jealous rage. Ashamed and afraid, she flees to Howl's magic moving castle. Will Howl see her for who she really is?

Considering that it is the only studio ghibli movie I've seen, it would have to be my favorite. I haven't had any interest in watching any other studio ghibli movies except for My Neighbor Totoro. The reason I saw this movie was I was in class one day at school, we had a sub. She brought in a few movies for us to watch. She is an anime fan and brought Howl's Moving Castle. Me and a few other people said that we should watch it. So we did, I didn't get to finish the movie at school but this summer I finally finished it at home and I have to say that it was pretty good.
I enjoyed it, the animation was interesting to watch. The characters were really unique. My favorite character was Calcipher (The Fire), because he is what kept the castle alive and always tried his best although he isn't human. He shines brightly! I also love Howl of course because he is so gorgeous and super caring towards Sophie. I loved him more with black hair then blonde hair, really hot!
The beautiful scenery shown throughout the movie is breathtaking and it feels as if you are in the movie. The vibrant colors bring the movie and characters to life.
I love the fantasy that it gives us, and it teaches us the old lesson of love can break any curse. That's magical enough!
What confused me was how Sophie would be shown as young with gray hair as if she was transforming whenever she was talking about Howl or being with him. This only happened sometimes not all the time. But at the same time, I liked it.
It has it's really sweet moments as well that warm my heart. Like when they kissed and when Sophie kissed Turnip head at the end! >.<
Overall, it was a great movie. Interesting, cute and sometimes a little weird but I loved it!!!

I encourage all of you to do this challenge along with me, or just say in the comments what YOUR favorite studio ghibli movie is!
