ANIME CHALLENGE: DAY 54

DAY 54 - Recommend one anime that most people may not have seen?

Full Moon Wo Sagashite!

Full Moon Wo Sagashite (PLOT) -

12-year-old Mitsuki Kouyama's dream to become a professional singer is shattered when she's diagnosed with throat cancer. If a tumor isn't horrific enough, how about being met by two angels of death shortly after?Meroko Yui and Takuto Kira, of the Shinigami duo "Negi Ramen," inform Mitsuki that she has just one year left to live. Instead of getting discouraged, however, Mitsuki decides to make the most of her last year, and pursues her singing dream with a passion.

WHY?

My friend is actually the one that recommended this anime to me a few years ago and I loved it. So, I thought I'd recommend it as well because I don't think it's that well known. It's a more classic anime and kind of old too. The characters art style is so adorable to look at. The songs are pretty good too, I love "Eternal Snow" and "Myself". Both being extremely great to listen to. This anime has a good bit of emotional scenes but such a great anime. It's beautiful and touches your heart. It's inspiring and I love it so much. I had a hard core crush on Takuto (the male Shinigami). He's rough around the edges but a has a kind heart. I'm curious, has anyone else seen Full Moon Wo Sagashite? Did you like it? I won't spoil the story for one's that want to watch it, ill just say that it was a joy to watch and had a great ending that left me smiling with tears.

HONORABLE MENTION:

Karin: Chibi Vampire (PLOT) - Vampires—supernatural beings that feed on the life essence of the unsuspecting at night—have been around for centuries. However, high schooler Karin Maaka is unusual, even among her own kind. Unlike her vampire family, ever since she was a child, Karin has suffered from polycythemia: a rare disorder which causes her to periodically produce excessive amounts of blood. And the more blood she produces, the more anemic and lightheaded she gets, ultimately leading to frequent nosebleeds. Her only solution? Force her excess blood onto random strangers, which surprisingly causes these "victims" to become livelier and happier than before. With her siblings—Anju, her reserved yet affectionate younger sister, and Ren, her womanizing elder brother—helping her abilities remain a secret by altering the affected humans' memories, no one is the wiser. That is, until Karin's newly transferred classmate, Kenta Usui, finds her behavior suspicious. And to make matters even more complicated, Karin feels her blood reacting unusually to Kenta's presence.

WHY?

Ok, listen I couldn't mention just one anime that many have not heard of but I had to add an extra one even though the question states to recommend one anime. But, I was never good at following rules...."That's a lie, I've always been great at following rules. I hate breaking rules, I'm a rule follower!" But today's an exception because I had to include Karin. If you don't like vampires or are weak when looking at blood then this anime may not be for you. It's a romantic, comedy with vampires thrown into the mix. This was one of the early anime's I saw when I first got into anime and it still sticks to my heart. It is really cute and warms my heart but also broke it a few times. It has a cute story and I know for sure that not many people have heard of Karin. It's an underrated anime and I have no idea how I found it but I did and I'm glad I did. There are so many sweet moments in the anime and the opening song is so catchy. Please watch it if you haven't.

I encourage all of you to do this challenge along with me, or just say in the comments one anime YOU recommend that most people may not have seen!
