I originally was a huge pop rock and screamo fan back in the day, so I love me some real instruments in my music.

Nothing against Kpop, but sometimes its so refreshing to be able to listen to a song and actually distinguish what instrument is making what noise.

Below are a few of my favorite Kpop artists or songs that lean slightly more rock :)

NCT U - Without You

Seriously, if you haven't listened to this song please listen and change your life.

Day6 - Congratulations & Letting Go

I was so sooo excited for this debut, and I wish that they had gotten more love. Their entire debut album was stunning and I can't wait to see more from them.

Jaejoong - Just Another Girl

Jaejoong was born to be a J-rock star, and I love that he's releasing that side of him again. His voice is so strong and emotional that he was made for rock and roll.

Sunggyu - 60 Seconds & I Need You & Another Me

God, this entire album. I was blown away by this debut and am still so in love with every single track. I wish that Sunggyu had seen the success he deserved with this release, but I'm so happy Woollim let him release a second album which leads me to...

Sunggyu - The Answer & Kontrol

Oh look it's Sunggyu again. This album was so emotional I seriously felt like I was on the verge of tears listening to each song.
