Natural popsicles for children
Here are some great ways to give your children fruit in the most natural way. They will love it! Mix them the way you want, but here are some combinations that seemed like they would fit the best. 1. Fresh Fruit Popsicles 2 1/2 cups fruit chunks, such as strawberries, raspberries, mango, or pineapple 1/3 cup sugar (or more to taste) 1/3 cup lemon juice 1/3 cup water pinch of salt Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Taste and add more sugar if too tart. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze until solid. 2. Coconut Milk Popsicles 2 1/2 cups coconut milk 1/2 cup sugar Combine ingredients. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze until solid. 3. Chocolate Popsicles 1 1/2 cup milk or coconut milk 2/3 cup sugar 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract pinch of salt Combine milk and sugar in a small saucepan and bring just to a simmer. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Allow chocolate to soften for 2 or 3 minutes, then whisk until fully melted and smooth (process in blender if mixture seems grainy). Add vanilla extract and salt. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze until solid.
