Does this bother anyone else
So I was on Koreaboo the other day. I know, why was I on there but here me out. I came across this article about Secret's Hyoseong and Sistar's Hyorin. It basically stated that they were comparing how had the sexist body. I didn't even read the rest of the article because I got a little angry If you want, you can read the article here
Should it really matter who is sexier than the other? They both are curvey, sexy, beautiful woman. They both break Korea's beauty standards and show how they aren't afraid to be different. Should it really matter if one is curvier than the other? Or if they're prettier than the other? Why can't we just focus on their music rather than their looks? I love both of them, but I hate that they're getting compared to their looks. They are beautiful in their own way. Why do we have to say who's better when they both are fantastic? I don't know. I was a little angry when I read this and I just had to get it off of my chest. Does anyone else feel this way when they read articles like this?

@amberrelynn I read the article, I don't like how it was presented. the article could definitely be more tactful and tastefully. in a culture where thin is thought of as THE thing to be, it's great to see articles that extols curvy bodies as it adds variety where there appears to be none. and the comments that were included did not addressed any particular body part that i remembered but rather how "milky" the skin look. that's another issue that seems to be plaquing kpop world.

@salo Yeah. It seems like Korea still has that standard of "you should look like this and this only." It is nice to see more curvy idols, but even then it feels like Korea is saying, "you have to be a "certain" curvy to look good." Idk, I hate comparing bodies, but I'm afraid that that won't change.
