*HEALTHY COCKTAIL ALERT* Summer has finally arrived and that means barbecues and patio parties…and maybe the occasional cocktail. For us clean eaters and health conscious folk, sugary cocktails are to be avoided at all cost but this recipe gives you the freedom to choose if you wish to opt for a healthier cocktail as a treat or enjoy the non-alcoholic version with no compromise on taste. *Makes 2 servings **NOTE: To make this non-alcoholic, sub the alcohol with rum flavouring as suggested below Ingredients: 1/4 Cup Fresh Mint 11/2 Cups Strongly Brewed Mint Tea (steeped and cooled) 1/8 Tsp Powdered Stevia Juice of 11/2 Limes 1 Cups Sparkling Water Ice 2 Shots White Rum of Your Choice OR 7-10 Drops Rum Flavouring Directions: 1. Muddle lime and mint in the bottom of a jar, sprinkle stevia over top. 2. Add ice, cooled tea and rum or rum flavouring, top with sparkling water and garnish with mint and lime.
