Beck!

So I've had this saved for a long time in my manga library and I finally gave it a chance. Don't get me wrong, i tried to read it once before a few months back but couldn't get in to the first chapter. Then a couple days ago I decided to give it another chance. I'm so glad I did. It's so good! The chapters are at least 70 pages each. (Yeah. Long, I know) it's complete with 103 chapters. There's an anime and a live action movie. The character development in this is crazy and all the hardships! I really want to watch the anime and live action!
So it's about a dude named Koyuki. He's a wallflower of a guy and pretty boring. One day he saves a weird looking dog from some hooligan kids throwing rocks at him and meets a dude named Ryuuske. Everything pretty much takes off from this accidental meeting. Ryuuske gives him his first guitar and they eventually form a band. But there is so much drama in this manga you'll forget how long the chapters are. Oh and the author is Harold Sakuishi. He has another manga titled Rin and I'm going to read that next.
