Korean Stars Who Admit to Going Under The Knife

We all know people get plastic surgery, but sometimes you can't tell as easily. Many admit, but for some countries, you do whatever you need to do to be pretty and most feel a certain way that keeps them quiet about their procedures. Sometimes this happens for medical reasons, and other times it's for cosmetic. But this card is to appreciate those who had the bravery and courage to put those rumors to rest by saying these things.
Kwanghee of Z:EA
Z:EA is extremely proud of his surgeries, and is a major advocate for it. On talk shows, he's talked about the enhancements on his nose, jaw, eyes, and eyebrows. He's even recommended the best time of the year to get procedures done (autumn by the way), gives some ideas as to what he thinks people should change, and points out which idol is natural or not from a glance. Experience brings with it a whole new view.
Minzy of 2NE1
For a while, Park Bom was the main target of plastic surgery rumors while she stayed quiet about it. But Minzy has experienced plastic surgery, for medical reasons. She had gotten a nose job to help cure her rhinitis, a condition where irritation and swelling of the mucous membrane in the nose occurs.
Hyomin of T-ara
Hyomin has revealed pictures of her dramatic differences prior to the surgery. Even though she used to destroy any pre-debut pics of her in broadcasts, she eventually stopped and told her story.
She admitted, "Society has become really appearance-oriented lately. Our job requires us to give joy and entertain a lot of people. It's impossible to do that if you're not pretty. There is obviously a part of us that want to be pretty, but because the public looks at our visual, I think it's possible to fix a few things as long as you're not greedy in order to live up to those visual expectations."
Heechul of Super Junior
On a radio program, Heechul was discussing many topics. One fan had commented about his naturalness and unaltered looks. He only got a nose job to repair a broken nose, but the bridge of his nose was flatter than before. Doctors said if he wanted to return it to normal, he'd have to get silicone or fillers injected. But Heechul was terrified of this, thus leaving it like it is.
Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls
While most of the members of B.E.G have gotten plastic surgery, Miryo was one who kept it covered up until much later. Until she took part in an SNL Skit, 'Plastic Face', she was very quiet about her double-eyelid surgery and other minimal changes.
Ryu of Mr.Mr.
On an episode of 'Idol School', Ryu tried to state they were a natural-looking group, but that didn't work out. He ended up stumbling over some of his words and in the end revealed they had gotten some procedures. He then owned it, and said they have gotten injections and fillers.
Jonghyun of CNBlue
Jonghyun has gotten a procedure, but in one of the more unexpected places. He had done judo for four years in junior high to his first year of high school. But as he kept practicing and fighting, he eventually developed cauliflower ears. It got pretty severe, so he went to get that portion cut out.
Jessi from 'Unpretty Rapstar'
Jessi lives up to the names as she has admitted on 'Happy Together 3' abouther past experiences of plastic surgery.
When a host discussed their double-eyelid surgery Jessi cooly explained,
"I did that, too. I did my nose and eyes. I did my eyes and nose three years ago. I didn't do it because I wanted to, though. I chose to do plastic surgery because of my agency's advice and to appear more photogenic."
Seo In Young
People have been wondering if she has shaved her chin, but Seo In Young has detroyed that rumor. She didn't shave it, just lost a lot of weight. But she has gotten the tip of her nose done twice. Once to make it sharp, and a second time to take it out.
Hyorin of SISTAR
After previously stating she has never gotten plastic surgery, baby pictures of Hyorin surface and showed off he mono-lid. She then came clean and admitted to getting a double-eyelid surgery. This gained her more attention than previously expected due to her past denials.
Kyuhyun of Super Junior
As the second SuJu member to go through with a procedure, he's still super handsome. Kyuhyun has stated both of his parents had double eyelids, but he missed that. Many still believe he has also gotten his nose done, but Kyuhyun rejects that, saying he would "put his wrist on the line" to prove he hasn't.
Hara
After appearing on 'Happy Together 3' and revealing with complete confidence her secret to her beauty (her face), she had a lot to say. Hara said she's gotten procedures like laser or Botox, in small amounts. She's even gone to a dermatologist and had a lifting. Hara definitely doesn'thave one of the more dramatic changes, that's for sure.
Park Min Young
She hasn't admitted to going under the knife until she had an interview with Sports Chosun. Park Min Young stated, "I got double eyelid surgery in junior high school. My mom let me get it so I could become prettier. I also got my nose done, but that's only because my nose was crooked during junior high." She revealed her struggle with photos from her past saying that, "I have a lot of things I don't like about my face, such as my large forehead and chubby cheeks, but acting got a lot easier once I let all of that go."
Lee Da Hae
Once she was the leading lady of the hit drama 'My Girl' and had an interview on 'Quick Talk', Lee Da Hae has admitted to going through some changes. She claimed she used to have a fatter face, but went through a procedure to look as beautiful as she does now. She likes to make jokes about how well it turned out.
Kim Hyun Joong
'Boys Over Flowers' actor Kim Hyun Joong said his surgery was all for reason. He already looked good, but due to an incident when he was younger, he got a nose job. He was unfortunately hit in the nose with a rock, and decided to take advantage of the opportunity by asking his doctor to raise the bridge of his nose a little bit.
Hongki of F.T. Island
This is a bit of a funny but unfortunate story! Apparently Hongki has gotten butt surgery twice, and don't think he has buns of steel. He previously stated, "I have a lot of scars [on my butt]. I am insecure about my butt. The reason why I can say this [on air] is because my fans know this. In China when I was holding a solo fan meeting, the boil got so big that I couldn't sit, stand, walk, or anything. So my fans asked what was wrong, and I told them bluntly that my butt was hurting."
So it wasn't all just for cosmetic things. Some procedures were medical, one was for better marketing, and some were because those celebrities could. No hate of bashing being done here, and no hate should be targeted at these people.

Which of these were the most interesting? Let us know!

Love you guys! ~Elayne

I agree with Hyomin. I don't see a problem with it at all. Civilians get plastic surgery all the time so why wouldn't someone who has a camera in their face 24/7 want that too? I understand that they have expectations to live up to but they are still people too.
Hongki!!!! Poor thing.

5 Reasons to Give Up Shampoo
The "no poo" movement has gained popularity, which piqued my interest. People are abandoning shampoo bottles in favour of brushes and talc. Those who have long, beautiful hair claim that natural hair is healthier for you and the environment, and that it doesn't require much maintenance to look good. I experimented with going without shampoo for a few days to see how it felt. Here are five more reasons why you should get rid of your poo: 1. Avoid using chemicals. Many of the ingredients on shampoo and conditioner labels that are difficult to read are hazardous. Diethyl phthalate (DEP) is a possible carcinogen and hormone disruptor, but it aids in the retention of scent in hair products. Although sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) causes shampoo to foam, it can irritate your skin and even cause cancer, so you should avoid using it. Parabens can help your body stay fresh, but they've also been found in breast cancer tumours. 2. Reduce the amount of water used. You use less water when you don't wash your hair every day, which helps the environment. On days when I don't wash my hair, it works for me. I only need a quick sprinkling from the tub faucet. If you colour your hair, limiting the amount of water it comes into contact with is beneficial. The heat and minerals in your shower water can cause it to lose its colour. Water alone can cause up to 80% of the colour to fade. 3. Make the best possible use of your time. It takes a long time to get ready in the morning. You should wash your hair less frequently if you want to have more time to do other healthy things like go for a morning run or sleep in. You can be more adaptable if you know how to keep your hair clean for longer periods of time. Do not wash your hands before or after working out. For example, don't wash before or after a workout in the afternoon. 4. Improve the health of your hair. Some people go months without washing their hair. They claim that their hair eventually stops producing sebum, which is a type of oil produced on the scalp. The end result is shiny, moist, and healthy hair that isn't greasy at all. Sebum is beneficial to your hair because it promotes hair growth. Because they protect your hair, scalp oils are nature's moisturiser. However, no studies have been conducted to demonstrate that sebum operates on a supply and demand basis. What you do when you remove oils is more of an external thing. I'm not aware of any evidence that this can alter the way the body functions. 5. Get to know your hair. Finally, I was able to go two weeks without washing my hair, which was beneficial to me. My scalp health improved after a summer of not washing my hair frequently. I also learned a lot about my hair and let go of my own strict rules about when to wash it. I didn't have to wash my hair at all during the week.
Stop Washing Your Face in The Shower - Here's Why.
Women with sensitive skin, acne prone skin, or dry skin have probably heard a common refrain from their expert friends and family about how their shower time could be exacerbating their problems. It's such a common refrain in the skincare world that some people question whether you should even shower daily — for reasons other than the potential harm to your face. What kind of shower is best for your facial skin? Long or short? Is it better to bathe with cold or warm water? The truth is that the verdict on showers and their benefits for the skin on your face isn't all that clear, and rather than accepting one opinion as "gospel," you should consider your own skin needs and how showering may help or stop you from getting your face what it needs in order to glow. What Happens to Your Skin in a Shower? The question of what showering does to your skin is perhaps the most important information in this discussion — and there are already some disagreements. However, the general consensus is that showering daily can have a few negative effects on your skin and the skin on your face. In the worst-case scenario, daily showering can exacerbate skin problems such as dry skin, itching, cracking, and bacterial overgrowth. Showering can help reduce skin bacteria, which is sometimes beneficial — but not always. While it may come as a surprise, bacteria are not all bad. In fact, bacteria and the health of your skin have a close relationship. Bacteria are necessary for the health of your skin. For example, in order for your immune system to function properly, it must be exposed to microorganisms on a regular basis. Keeping your skin clean and free of dirt and bacteria does not make you healthier; instead, it prevents your immune system from properly training its antibodies for future encounters. As a result, the antibacterial soaps that many people use in showers and hand scrubbing situations may kill off the important 'should be here' bacteria. When this happens, you're merely making room for more dangerous bacteria to colonise. And this is a major concern for people who take hot showers frequently, because excessive showering can cause your skin to dry and crack over time, allowing these more dangerous bacteria to enter your body beneath the skin barrier. This can lead to major issues, infections, and problems in the future. Is it bad to wash your face while you shower? Despite all of our warnings, there are still plenty of reasons to take our advice with a grain of salt. While a celebrity dermatologist may recommend you not to wash your face during your shower routine, the reality is that there is very little evidence to suggest any danger to your face in particular. We couldn't find any studies that suggested that washing your face in the shower could cause an increase in acne, wrinkles, dryness, or skin conditions like rosacea or eczema. The wrong products, many of which may be in your shower, are what will cause your skin problems. For example, the American Academy of Dermatology Association (AAD) recommends avoiding alcohol and abrasive cleaners, as well as sponges, washcloths and mesh cleaning tools that can irritate your skin. That means that many of the tools you use to wash your body (and may have in your shower) aren't good for your facial skin. And, after a thorough body scrub, remember not to scrub too hard on your face. Cleansers should be applied with your fingertips, and the cleanser should be removed with the same care. And, as the AAD points out, there's the issue of water temperature, which they recommend for face washing be "lukewarm." This is likely unhappy news if you enjoy hot or cold showers. Is water temperature important? You're probably wondering, "Why the big deal about hot water?" What about saunas, steam rooms and hot towels? "What exactly is it about my shower water that is so bad for my face?" As it turns out, there's a lot that can go wrong with it. Excessively hot water has been linked to an increased risk of irritation and inflammation of the skin on your face, according to research. As far as we're concerned, this does not imply that taking a shower is bad for your face. It does, however, imply that your face-specific routine may be best staged outside of the shower, where you can control temperature, reduce the risk of injury due to water temperature fluctuations, and generally do better work for your skin health. You may be wondering about the benefits of steam and whether they mitigate the risk of irritation. Steam and hot water have numerous benefits for your skin — and the things that live in your skin. Steam can loosen and soften buildup, making blackheads and other solid blemishes easier to remove from your pores. Steaming your skin can also provide additional benefits for serums and moisturisers later on. Topical products can often be better accepted by your skin by opening up your pores and making your skin more permeable. And, contrary to popular belief, steam is beneficial to your skin's relative moisture levels. It can not only help you add water to your individual skin cells, but it can also help make subsequent products like moisturisers and serums more effective. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, steam increases blood flow in your skin's blood vessels, which can lead to increased collagen production and, eventually, plump and firm skin. All of this being said, it is recommended that you use a hot towel or bowl rather than a shower, as this gives you more control over the time and level of contact water has with your face, as well as the ability to adjust the temperature. These things are important for people who have rosacea and redness, as well as those who have broken capillaries. Women with sensitive skin should exercise caution as well, as steaming can aggravate inflammatory conditions (which means people with eczema should also be wary). When You Should Wash Your Face Instead So, the shower is off, and we both agree on that. So, where do you wash your face? When, where, and why? You should wash your face twice a day, plus more if you get sweaty, as you might after exercise or time in the sun. In most cases, washing once in the morning and once at night is sufficient. According to what we can tell, you're fine to do one of those washes right after a shower — lukewarm water and a non-abrasive, non-alcoholic cleanser are the gentle combination you'll need. Just remember to be a little gentler than you would be with your back, legs, or feet. By the way, now is the ideal time to apply a moisturiser. Hot showers (especially long ones) can dry out your skin, and for people with psoriasis and other skin issues, they can aggravate existing problems. The best time to replenish lost moisture and protect yourself for the day ahead is after your post-shower face wash.
Natural And Ayurvedic Skincare Routine For Radiant Skin
When you clean your skin thoroughly at night, you help prevent clogged pores and, as a result, the occurrence of blackheads and pimples. Because skin penetration levels are higher at night, your products will work much better and deliver results much faster. We've put together a nighttime skincare routine for women who want to achieve glowing skin quickly. 1. Cleanse your face. Always wash your face to remove all makeup, dirt, and pollution from your skin. Your face wash should fight signs of ageing and improve skin radiance by containing the goodness of kakadu plum, the highest source of vitamin C. Kakadu plum contains natural fruit aha, which promotes cell renewal and gently exfoliates the skin to control excess oil, which can lead to pigmentation when exposed to the sun. It protects your skin from free radical damage, keeping it healthy and radiant. 2. Apply a brightening serum. After cleansing your face, apply a hydrating and brightening serum all over it. Choose a saffron-infused serum cleanses and exfoliates the skin while improving blood circulation and providing a glow. Rose extract aids in the unclogging of pores, the removal of dirt and oil, the restoration of pH balance, and the lightening and brightening of the skin. Lotus and aloe vera nourish the skin, exfoliate dead skin cells, and provide radiance. 3. Apply moisturiser to your face. Apply a brightening face cream to lock in moisture and prevent overdrying. Pick a skin brightening face cream with advanced bioactive phytoextracts that penetrate deeply into skin layers and effectively reduce dark spots, dullness, melasma, hyperpigmentation, and age spots. It should stimulate cell renewal, resulting in clearer, more even-toned skin. Vitamin C the most effective, quick, and safe skin brightener that protects against oxidative stress and effectively reduces liver spots. 4. Apply a face oil. With a nourishing face oil, you can seal in the moisture and goodness of all the other products. Pick a face oil containing antioxidant-rich saffron and say hello to a deep radiating glow, clearer skin, and a bright complexion. Choose anti-inflammatory and anti-acne herbs like Manjishtha, Turmeric and Lodhra to reduce breakouts, acne, and flaunt even-toned skin! 5. Face sculpting. Using a jade roller or a gua sha, sculpt your face. Massaging your face with these tools improves the absorption of other skincare products while also increasing blood circulation. It can help to work the facial tissues and relax the muscles, resulting in less puffiness. It also aids in the reduction of wrinkles and dark circles. 6. Use a lip mask. Apply a lip sleeping mask right before bed to prevent your lips from drying out or flaking. A lip plumping mask with Vitamin C and antioxidants moisturises dry lips. If you apply it at night, you will wake up with smoother lips. It provides intense moisturisation if it is formulated with shea butter and manuka honey. Besides this, lingonberry and turmeric oil, also help lighten dark lips, as well as coconut and castor oil, which aid in the removal of dead cells and flaky skin. 7. Cover everything with a sleep mask. By finishing the routine with a sleep mask, you can seal in all of the skincare products. Pick a prebiotic sleep mask to wake up with a refreshing glory. A sleep mask is designed to provide maximum comfort by nourishing your skin with prebiotics, retinol, collagen protein, and hyaluronic acid. Whichever combination you choose will nourish and hydrate your skin throughout the night. Make this sleep mask a part of your daily nighttime routine to wake up with refreshed, moisturised, plumpy, tight skin. It also aids in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.
The Best and Worst Ways to Get Rid of Blackheads
Some people don't even know they have acne because it doesn't look like a blemish at all. Acne comes in many different shapes, sizes, and colours. Take blackheads, those pesky dark-colored spots filled with gunk. If you've ever tried to squeeze one, you're likely to have found yourself facing down an angry bump instead, and you'll have quickly regretted it. So, what is the best way to get rid of this kind of acne on your skin? Before we look at the causes and who is most likely to get blackheads, let's look at who is most likely to get them. Blackheads are caused by a lot of different factors. People who get blackheads have too much sebum (oil), dead skin, and possibly C. acnes (the bacteria that causes acne) stuck in their hair follicles, which makes it hard for them to clean. When these things are exposed to the air, they turn black. Blackheads are called comedones in medicine. As acne starts to form, comedones start to form. When the follicle gets bigger and bigger, it can break open and spill its contents into the surrounding skin layer, which is called the dermis. This can cause an inflammatory response. This shows up on the skin as an inflammatory papule, which is more commonly known as a pimple. This is a lot more dangerous than a blackhead. Acne-prone people are more likely to get blackheads, but there is also a genetic predisposition. Hormones also play a role, causing sebum to be made (skin oil). Enlarged pores can also be found in people who have had a lot of sun damage. Ostia (small openings) can look bigger and more dilated if there is less collagen in the dermis around the hair follicle. People with the condition Favre-Racouchot have large blackheads on parts of their skin that have been sunburned. This is a very extreme example of this, though. Skin care: how to avoid getting blackheads Topical or oral retinoids can be used to keep blackheads at bay, such as prescription drugs like tretinoin or Retin-A. Adapalene, also known as Differin, is an over-the-counter retinoid that can be used to treat comedonal acne. Patients with more severe comedonal acne may need to take oral retinoids, like isotretinoin or Accutane, to get better. adds that chemical exfoliants can also be good, but doesn't like scrubs because they can irritate the skin. Getting rid of blackheads is the best way to do it. If you already have blackheads, there are a few dermatologist-approved ways to get rid of them. Some of them are also good ways to keep them from coming back. Make sure you use products that have Salicylic Acid in them. Salicylic acid, which is a beta hydroxy acid, is one of the best things you can use to get rid of blackheads. It increases cell turnover and unclogs pores. adds that the acne treatment can help dry out active acne lesions because it is a mild chemical irritant, which can help dry them out. A lot of research shows that salicylic acid can help with acne. Small double-blind and controlled studies show that people who used a 2 percent salicylic acid wash for two weeks had less acne lesions in 30 of the people who took part in the study. Add a Retinoid to Your Routine. Retinoids, which can be bought with a prescription (like Retin-A) or over the counter (Differin), are a good way to get rid of blackheads on the skin. Retinoids help keep the follicular ostia (where hair grows) from becoming blocked. They do this by promoting skin turnover and reducing the "stickiness" of the skin cells. When you start using retinoid cream, comedones may get worse because cell turnover increases against a clogged opening, causing the pores to widen even more. If you keep getting help for your skin condition, the blocked ostia will start to get better, and with more skin turnover, they are less likely to get blocked again in the future. You can also use retinoid to fight ageing and regenerate your skin. Take a look at Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Alpha hydroxy acids, like glycolic acid and lactic acid, can also be good for your skin. Salicylic acid is better at unclogging pores, though. Choose an in-office treatment with your Dermatologist. People who see a dermatologist can help them get rid of their dark spots on their skin. You can get in-office treatments that can help make your pores look less noticeable. Those are called laser treatments, and they don't hurt. They include nonablative resurfacing like Fraxel laser, Clear + Brilliant laser, and microneedling. While some people are happy with the results of a single treatment, others may need more than one to get the results they want. Worst Ways to Get Blackheads Out of Your Skin Harsh Scrubs. Some people want to use an exfoliating scrub right away to get rid of all their dead skin. People who use chemical exfoliators like AHAs should avoid over-exfoliating with a granule scrub like they might have been told to do as a teen, when they manually scrubbed the grains into their skin until it was red. Harsh scrubs can strip your natural oils and make your skin more oily, says a doctor at the hospital. Manual Extractions. Fight the urge to pop any pimples that you see. If you squeeze your blackheads, you can cause the follicle to break open and cause an inflammatory lesion, or cyst, to form. As a result, you can turn your blackhead into something that's much more serious on your skin Keep in mind that the closer a blackhead is to the surface of your skin, the less risky it is to get rid of it. Suction tools. Tech that says it can remove sebum from pores may sound good, but these products may do more harm than good, so be careful. This suction can be bad for the skin on your face. It can cause broken blood vessels, or telangiectasias, to appear, especially around your nose. Final Thoughts While it might be almost impossible not to try to remove that blackhead with your own two fingers, try your best not to do it. Prevention is the best medicine. The best way to get rid of blackheads is to use a few effective ingredients, such as retinoids, which are both good for your skin and good for keeping new blackheads away. Take your skin to a dermatologist for help.
5 Sure Ways To Get Young And Glowing Skin
You may have the spirit of a child, ready to take on the world. But what if your skin tone isn't a good match? Here are the top 5 treatments for looking youthful and ready to face the world... Chemical Peeling A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing technique that removes your skin's top layer. This can help reduce wrinkles, dullness, and hyperpigmentation. A chemical peel is performed by applying a liquid to the face, which is subsequently wiped away. A gentle chemical peel enhances skin texture and tone while also making fine wrinkles less visible. The results are minor at first, but as treatments are repeated, they become more noticeable. If you get a medium chemical peel, the treated skin will be noticeably smoother. Botox Botulinum toxin is most commonly utilised in Botox treatment to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other facial lines. Botox injections are painless and are administered using a tiny eyelash-like needle. The FDA has approved the procedure, and the benefits are obvious within three days. You will need to repeat the procedure every 3-5 months if you want to retain your wrinkle-free appearance. Dermal Fillers Dermal fillers are cosmetic fillers used to increase the volume and fullness of your skin. This therapy reduces the visibility of the most typical indicators of ageing, such as fine lines and wrinkles. Women frequently utilise dermal fillers to make themselves appear younger. Dermal fillers are hyaluronic gel injections that support and volumize drooping parts of the face. Microdermabrasion Microdermabrasion can make your skin seem better by decreasing fine wrinkles, early UV damage, and minor, superficial acne scars. It does not work for repairing deep acne scars or wrinkles. Skin may become visibly smoother and more responsive to moisturisers after just one treatment. During the treatment, aluminium oxide crystals are gently sanded into your skin. Ultherapy Ultherapy is a nonsurgical facelift treatment. It is the only FDA-approved, non-invasive procedure for elevating the neck, chin, and brow, as well as smoothing out creases and wrinkles. Ultherapy® results are typically good for two years. Even with natural collagen renewal, the therapy causes the skin to age. The procedure focused on the brow, neck, and jawline. The vast majority of these procedures are FDA-approved and fully safe. Consult your dermatologist to find out which anti-aging therapies are right for you!
2 New K-Drama Recommendations
Here are two drama's I've recently started that I highly recommend! [The World of the Married] Main Cast: Kim Hee Ae, Park Hae Joon, Han So Hee Episodes: 16 (1 Hour Episodes, though some are longer) - Currently Airing Rating: 15+ (19+ in South Korea) Genre: Romance, Family, Melodrama, Drama Other Major Tags: Revenge, Infidelity, Doctor, Western Remake Synopsis: Ji Sun Woo is a family medicine doctor. She is married to Lee Tae Oh and they have a son. She seems to have everything, including a successful career and a happy family, but she is betrayed by her husband and others. Meanwhile, Lee Tae Oh dreams of becoming a famous movie director. He runs an entertainment business with the support of his wife Ji Sun Woo. Even though he loves his wife, Lee Tae Oh falls into a dangerous relationship. (Source: AsianWiki) My Thoughts: I am only 15 minutes into the first episode and so far it is good. I decided to start watching this drama because Kim Doyoung (of NCT) recommended it. I would like to note that this drama is not for a younger audience as their are mature scenes. (In fact there was a mature scene in the first 15 minutes.) I ALSO want to say that this is one of the top dramas in Korea right now. It is currently the 3rd highest rated drama in Korean cable TV history beating out POPULAR titles such as Goblin, Reply 1988, Signal, Itaewon Class, and Hotel Del Luna. [Find Me in Your Memory] Main Cast: Moon Ga Young, Kim Dong Wook Episodes: 32 (30 minute episodes) - Currently Airing Rating: 15+ Genre: Romance, Melodrama, Drama Other Major Tags: Hyperthymesia, Memory-loss, Trauma, (Tragedy could probably be added in my opinion), Comedy, (Mytsery could also be added in my opinion) Synopsis: A love story between a man who remembers every second of his life and a woman who forgot her painful past. (Source: Wikipedia) My Thoughts: I am 6 episodes in and its really good so far. Everything is happening at a slow pace right now but I think that's for a reason, it makes it more impactful. I think it's interesting to see Hyperthymesia in this drama because the last time I saw it was in Remember: War of the Son with Yoo Seung Ho and he used his extraordinary memory to solve his father's murder but it came with a price. It's interesting to see Kim Dong Wook's character live a more or less normal life compared to Yoo Seung Ho's. And each episode makes you wonder what will happen next because of the two's past. I definitely recommend checking it out! Talking Body Chapter 10 [+18] *possible trigger alert*
*This chapter may contains triggers to some readers. Please take caution when reading. You have been warned. * Chapter Ten A knock on the door alerted Jungkook within his studio. He turned in his chair to see Yoongi peeking his head in. Jungkook waved him in and turned to save his work before giving Yoongi his full attention. “Did you find anything?” Jungkook asked breaking the silence. Yoongi handed him a flash drive. “I found what I could, but not the year pervious to meeting Ji Su.” Jungkook took the flash driver and plugged into his computer. “You do know she is bound to find out that you are searching about her ex.” Yoongi stated. “I know but I know there is something that she is hiding, and I want to know what. Plus, she is too stubborn to even ask for help.” Jungkook clicked on the files while he spoke. He chose to do something of his own investigation to help Ji Su. He started this after she told him she want to put a pause on their relationship. That was a week ago. Jungkook opened the first file that had who Jae was before he meet Ji Su. When he opened it, Jungkook read on who this man was. Apparently, Jae was a Koran Japanese. His father was a Korean chaebol whose business was mainly in Japan. His mother was the daughter of a Japanese Yakuza boss. Jae spent most of his time in Japan until a year before he meet Ji Su. There wasn’t mush else besides a few photos and what his profession was. “When I was looking for information about him and I came across his photos, I realized something. That photo there,” Yoongi stood behind Jungkook with his finger pointing to the photo on the left. “I remember meeting him and he did not look like that. He received plastic sugary. For what I don’t know. I looked to see way but there was nothing.” Jungkook looked closely at both photos. He one on the left was before and the one on the right was the current photo. There was a possibility of plastic surgery, but something didn’t sit right with Jungkook. Before he could look further into it another knock singled another visitor. Jungkook quickly closed out and Yoongi went to his couch. The door opened and Namjoon came in. He look at both Jungkook and Yoongi as if they were hiding something. Which they did, they just didn’t want to share. “I hope you weren’t watching porn.” Was Namjoon’s way of saying hi. Yoongi glanced at Jungkook with disgust. “No that is you not me.” Yoongi stated. “Do you need something?” “The others and I are heading to the store to grab the last few things before tomorrow’s camping trip.” Namjoon said then looked at Jungkook. “Is there anything you guys need anything?” Jungkook looked at Yoongi who looked back. “Nope if we do we do, we’ll stop at the store on our way back home.” Jungkook told Namjoon. Namjoon continued to stare at both. He knew something was up but wasn’t going to pry it out of them. He gave them a salute and left Jungkook’s studio. Yoongi stood up and headed to the door. “Far warning, the next two flies please keep an open mind. You have to remember, Ji Su loved this man no matter the cost. I will be back an hour and we can get some drinks before heading home.” Yoongi walked out closing the door behind him. Jungkook closed out of Jae’s profile. And opened up the other flies. The first one labeled with the date 02/18. Taking a deep breath Jungkook clicked on it. There were two documents, one being a police report and other a hospital report. Clicking on the police report, Jungkook’s heart sank a little. The report read: On February 18th there was a call about a noise complaint in apartment 506. The caller believed the female resident was being hit by the male partner. When police arrived, the male stated nothing happened and that he and the female partner was having a light argument. However, one officer noticed marking around the females neck. Medical was called and the female was transported for further investigation. The male was take in being charged for domestic abuse. Jungkook minimized the police report and clicking on the hospital labeled with the same date. When he began to read, he could not believe what he was reading. Ji Su was being choked and when she was asked what happened she just told the police and the doctors that he was upset about her being late and nothing really happened. She that night didn’t process charges. He didn’t understand why she didn’t, but what Yoongi said before he left. She loved him no matter what it was the cost. Taking a deep breath, he moved on to the next folder labels 03/10. Without hesitation, Jungkook opened it and saw the similar setup like that last one. From there he clicked on the police report. Police were called to apartment 506 by the resident’s sister. The sister stated over the phone that her sister was in a pool of her own blood. The sister didn’t give anymore information just a plea to hurry and save her sister. When Police and Medical arrived on scene the female was laying in the glass coffee table with blood all around her. Medical acted quickly and took her straight to the hospital. The sister went with them promising to talk to the police at the hospital. CSI was called and investigated the apartment. The kitchen looked like a bomb went through it. Pots and pan with food everywhere. Pregnancy tests scattered throughout the kitchen. The most damage was the coffee table as if the female was thrown on top of it. There was an object that is believed to be a fetus. The male in question was nowhere to be found on scene. Jungkook rubbed his face in disbelief that this happened. There was no markings on the even happening on her body. However, would he have noticed with his mind full of lust and passion for her? Plus, she was pregnant! Shaking his head, Jungkook continued to read the follow up of the report days later stating that the male in question was not charged due to the female in a coma. His lawyer stepped in, and his father paid a huge sum of money to sweep this under the rug. The damn cops were bribed with money to forget this ever happen. Furious, Jungkook closed out and went to the medical report. Female name Kim Ji Su. Age: 25. Came in unconscious and blood all over. Doctor on call came in and investigated her body. There were lacerations all over her back, a minor burn on the left arm, a minor head injury. When they looked further to figure out way so much blood, they found out she had a miscarriage. She was place in a medical induce coma to decrease the swelling. The lacerations and burn would leave little scaring. Jungkook could not believe she went through all that and never once said anything. Sure, she told him about her rape eight years ago, but this was worse. She was abused by the man she believed she was in love with. A man that showed her security and a stable life to live. The more he read and looked at Jae’s photos he started to believe in his theory he shared with Ji Su back in Jeju. That Jae could be the man that raped her all those years ago. 1) He didn’t meet her until a year later 2) He looks different 3) He tried to kill her. Twice Frustrated, Jungkook closed out of all the files and unplugged the flash drive. He turned all his computers off and packed his bag. He was going to need a drink and maybe Yoongi would be in the mood to discuss when he just learned. He knew one thing and that was Yoongi knew who Ji Su was before Jungkook. ~*~*~*~*~ Jungkook and Yoongi were at one the food tents a block away from the apartment. They were finishing the second bottle of Soju. Jungkook poured another glass and handed it to Yoongi. This was a sign to show repeat to those older than you. “What was she like, Ji Su?” Jungkook asked Yoongi. He was curious on who she was before. Yoongi took he glass and down his Soju. “She is a great listener, would listen to my mixes and she loved to party. She wasn’t a party animal. Ji Su and Mi Sun are opposite when it comes to parties. However, it all changed when Ji Su was with Jae.” Yoongi put his glass down and Jungkook refilled it. “She was quiet, stood by him and said little. Mi Sun was worried about her, and Ji Su’s grandmothers’ health was going downhill. Just try and imagine Mi Sun. Believe or not, Mi Sun is just like Jin in that aspect worried about her family.” Yoongi drank his liquid and raised his hands to order a third bottle. Jungkook processed what he learned. There was so much of Ji Su that he didn’t know. He should be asking her, but a part of him wasn’t sure if she would answer him. “Do you think Jae has something to do with what happen to her in college?” Jungkook asked when the third bottle of Soju arrived. Both men thanked the elderly lady who smiled at them commenting how handsome they were. Both thanked her while Jungkook finished the second bottle and opening the third one. “After looking back on his past and seeing the difference in photos, there is a possibility.” Yoongi took his glass once again and down the alcohol. “I never did ask how you were able find all of this information.” Jungkook asked downing the contents of his glass. Yoongi smirked bring his glass to his lips.” Let’s just say I was really good with looking for someone during my time in the service.” “So, you were a ‘programmer’ in a way.” Jungkook leaned back in his chair bring his glass to his lips. “You could say that.” Taking the soju bottle filling his glass Yoongi asked, “I never did ask you what do you gain from learning about what I found?” He glanced up at Jungkook. Putting his glass down Jungkook and sighed. “I for the must part want to understand. There is something that she is hiding from me and as much I want to ask and push her into telling me, I won’t. I want her to tell me, but I have a feeling that she wont until she takes care of it. If that is the case, it may kill her.” Yoongi took the bottle again, this time filling Jungkook’s to the rim. “I don’t think it will kill her, maybe hurt her. Ji Su is a fighter.” Jungkook took his glass and downed the contents only for Yoongi to fill it up once more. “I have seen a change in her. Whatever you did she is almost to her old self.” Yoongi confessed and clinked his glass with Jungkook. Filling their glasses once more the finishing the bottle. Yoongi go up and to pay while Jungkook gathered his things. When he stood up, he felt liquid on his back when he turned around to see what the hell happened, he saw a guy his size but built bigger. This guy looked mad and Jungkook could only guess that he was the one that pissed him off. “Sorry man didn’t see you there.” Jungkook apologized. The guy glared at him. “Do you know how expensive this suit is?” Jungkook just closed his eyes not wanting to deal with this man. “Did you just close your eyes and sigh?!” when Jungkook opened his eyes he didn’t have time to dodge the mans fist. Jungkook fell back against the table he was at. He wiped his lips knowing that he was bleeding. Jungkook stood back up. “Look man I am sorry got ruining your suit. I am sure if you tell me how much the dry cleaning would be I will pay for it.” He tried to reason with this man. The man again swung his fist like a mad man. Jungkook was able to doge some but fell back when the man landed a blow to his gut. Apparently, this man wasn’t in the mood to settle things with words. When the mans fist stopped, Jungkook stood up and noticed Yoongi next to him. “You good?” Yoongi asked and Jungkook nodded. “If he hits you again just hit him back.” As soon Yoongi said that the man swung once more and this time Jungkook land hit knocking the man flat on the ground. Red and blue lights lit up the food tent. ~*~*~*~*~ Dawn was breaking through when Yoongi and Jungkook made it home. When the arrived on their floor the two men walked down the hall when a door opened and closed. Jungkook looked up to see Mi Sun and Ji Su in workout gear. Ji Su had her nose in her phone. Mi Sun went up to her and said something. Ji Su looked up to see Jungkook and Yoongi. She looked back down and the backup. Looking eyes with Jungkook. Yoongi mumbled that he would meet him inside when Mi Sun walked by leaving Jungkook and Ji Su alone in the hallway. A few minutes went by, and Ji Su was standing in from of him. Raising her hand barley touching him, “What happened?” She whispered. “Just a little fight over a simple spill.” He joked leaning into her touch. “Did you get this cleaned?” she brush a finger across his cheek where a cut was at. He hissed and Ji Su yanked her hand back to her chest. “Sorry.” She whispered. “Its fine love just forgot it was there.” He smirked when he saw her cheeks turned a shade of pink. “I should go. Getting a run in before we leave for the camping trip.” She stepped back. “And I should go and finish packing.” He stepped closer to her. “I still miss you.” He whispered and kissed her cheek before walking into his apartment. He wasted no time to pack and shower before it was time to leave. He took everything down to the parking garage to load up his bag. Ji Su was there on the phone and pacing. Before he could walk up to her to ask what was going on, everyone else showed up to put their belongs in the one or the other vehicles. Sighing, Jungkook climbed into the vehicle that he placed his things in and closed his eyes. He was still awake just wanting to rest his eyes. He felt the SUV move as everyone entered and settled themselves in the seats. He was barley awake to hear mumbles asking if he was asleep. He smirked when he heard Ji Su state that he was just resting his eyes. ~*~*~*~*~ Authors note: Finally, chapter 10 is done. I will admit that this chapter was hard to write. With information about Ji Su needed to be shared and I chose Chapter 10 to do that. However, I struggle to write it out to have it flow. I really hope that the information that I shared flows nicely and you are able to understand it. I want to thank you all for your patience’s while I was with family last week. With my brother graduating and my school job ending for the year it was crazy busy. So, thank you. Chapter 11 will be post sometime this coming week and as always thank you for your support. 8 Habits That Cause Premature Wrinkles And Skin Aging
People of all ages have beautiful skin. But as time goes on, the glow of your skin can fade. Cut back on these habits that can make your skin look older before it's ready. 1. You can get dark circles and fine lines if you keep rubbing your eyes all the time. People get under-eye bags when the muscles around their eyes weaken as they get older. If you keep rubbing your eyes, it will be fine. It won't have any long-term effects. Continuous eye rubbing can cause an issue by increasing inflammation in the area. Keeping your eyes rubbed all the time can make the lines around your eyes look worse. I often see this as a problem for people with eczema, who may rub their eyes too much because they are itchy and hurt. Some people call them Dennie-Morgan lines because they look like a black eye when they get them. That's not all. It can darken the skin around the eyes if you pull, tug, and rub on the skin there. Determine what is making you rub your eyes. You should see an allergist to figure out what's causing your eyes to itch and to treat your symptoms. A dermatologist can help you figure out what kind of treatment is best for your eczema. 2. Not getting enough sleep hurts your skin's ability to grow new, healthy skin. A good night's sleep is important for energy, concentration, and having a good complexion. At night, the skin is in a state of renewal, and it starts to grow new skin. When you don't get enough sleep, it can show on your face. A study of 60 women published in Clinical and Experimental Dermatology in January 2015 found that women who didn't get enough sleep, which was defined as five hours or less, had more signs of ageing, a weaker skin barrier, and less satisfaction with their looks. You can get enough sleep if you follow the National Sleep Foundation's four tips: Every day, go to bed and wake up at the same time. This will help your body get used to the same times. Set up your bedroom in a dark, cool, and quiet way. Finish your meal at least two to three hours before going to sleep. If you drink a lot of caffeine in the afternoon, you should cut back a lot. 3. It can be hard to get a clean line when you use a straw. Were you born with a straw? It may keep your teeth from getting stained, but it can also make your mouth look older. This is a sign that your skin is getting older. There are muscles in the area around your lips when you drink from a straw. There is a better chance of getting that crease in the skin if we work those muscles more. It's the same reason that people who smoke get wrinkles around the mouth, like they do. To find the lines, you can keep your lips pursed over and over again. The best way to avoid straws is to not use them at all. 4. When you are stressed, cortisol is released, which causes collagen to break down. Whenever we are stressed, we feel it in every part of our bodies. Your skin is part of this. If you're always worried or can't sleep, your body is always making stress hormones, which can make you look older than you should. Inflammation and sagging skin are both caused by the stress hormone cortisol, which also breaks down collagen. Stress, because of the increased inflammation, has been shown to speed up the ageing process in studies. Stress can be reduced primarily by making changes to your lifestyle, like eating well, getting enough sleep, and practising meditation. All of these things have a big impact on the way your body and face look as you get older. Find out what truly relaxes you and do it often. 5. Using makeup to protect your skin from the sun exposes your skin to UV rays. SPF is the best way to keep your skin from getting older before it should. Ultraviolet (UV) light exposure caused about 80% of the visible signs of ageing on the face, like wrinkles and changes in pigmentation. You may not be protecting your skin from harmful UV rays if you only use makeup that has SPF in it. It blocks UVB rays but not UVA rays, which cause fine lines and brown spots. Most makeup blocks UVB but not UVA. As a bonus, to get the sunscreen benefit, you'd have to put on a lot of make-up. Makeup will add extra protection to sunscreen, but it's likely not enough on its own. Before you put on your makeup, put on a broad-spectrum SPF sunscreen or moisturiser. Broad-spectrum means that the product will protect your skin from both UVA and UVB rays, which can make your skin age. As well as their makeup, people need SPF to keep them safe. SPF 30 is a good level of protection for most people. 6. Sun damage can happen to your neck and hands if you don't pay attention. Ultraviolet light is the single most important thing you can do to keep from getting older. Even if you use sunscreen every day, you might forget about your neck and hands. This might be why they're the first places to show your age. Previous research found that women with visible veins and wrinkles on the hands were perceived to be older than their peers with plumper hands, even if they were the same age. In time, we lose some of our ability to move freely. The hands lose volume and fat, which makes the skin clear and wrinkled. Your skin kind of thins out, so your hands don't look as big. In this picture, you can see the veins a little better. They look wrinkly. As a result of long-term sun exposure, the skin on the neck can turn dark and look older. In the same way, you can try to avoid harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. If you must go outside, it's the easiest thing to do is find shade and wear a hat with a brim and sunscreen. She says that some of her patients wear gloves that protect their hands from the sun when they drive. 7. If You Don't Wear Sunglasses, You Risk Damage to Your Eyes and the Skin Around them. As we've said, UV rays can damage the eyelid, cornea, lens, and retina. Sunglasses protect the eyes from these rays, which can also damage the skin around the eyes. These movements like squinting, laughing, and frowning can make your face look older over time. The more you use your muscles to make these movements, the more wrinkles and lines will show up when your face is at rest. Even in the dead of winter, you should wear sunglasses. The more protection you have, the better off you will be. Look for a pair that says 100% protection against both UVA and UVB or 100% protection against UV 400 on the package. 8. Soap can make wrinkles worse. Despite what your grandparents say, soap bars are often full of harsh detergents that strip the skin of its natural oils, making it dry and flaky. Even though dry skin doesn't cause wrinkles on its own, it does make them easier to see. There are things that can cause allergies and rashes on your skin when you have dry skin. These things are things like bacteria and viruses. Because your skin's barrier is weaker when it is dry, this is the reason why. A lot of people have trouble with their skin, so they have to be careful with the soap they use. If you have sensitive skin, eczema, or rosacea, then yes, the soap you use will have an effect on how your skin looks and feels. You should use a cleanser that is hydrating to clean your face. You should look for the words gentle and moisturising on the package. Avoid using deodorant soap or products that could dry out your skin, like alcohol, fragrance, retinoids, or alpha hydroxy acid. After you wash your face, apply a moisturiser with antioxidants like vitamin C.
How Tretinoin Gets Rid Of Acne and How To Use It?
Tretinoin cream is available in a variety of concentrations, ranging from .05 percent cream to creams containing up to .1 percent tretinoin. The type of tretinoin cream you use to treat acne, like many other skincare medications, can have a significant impact on your results as well as your risk of experiencing side effects. We've listed all of the different tretinoin cream concentrations that are available in the United States below. We've also discussed which concentration is best for treating and preventing acne. We've also discussed how tretinoin can be used as an acne treatment to prevent breakouts and keep your skin clear all year. What Exactly Is Acne? Acne vulgaris, also known as acne vulgaris, is a common skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles, or pores, become clogged with a mixture of sebum, dead skin cells, and other substances. Acne affects almost everyone at some point in their lives. For some, it is a condition that develops during adolescence. Adult acne breakouts, which can occur in a person's 30s, 40s, and even well into middle age, are a lifelong annoyance for others. Acne breakouts are caused by a variety of factors. One of these is sebum, a natural oil produced by your sebaceous glands. When sebum accumulates on the surface layer of your skin, it can seep into your pores and clog them. Another factor in acne is the accumulation of dead skin cells over time. These cells, which are left over from the epidermal turnover process, can combine with sebum to clog pores and cause acne. Acne can become infected, inflamed, and painful when bacteria begin to multiply inside a clogged pore. Acne can range in severity from minor comedones to severe nodules and cysts that cause skin irritation. Forms of Acne Comedonal When your pores become clogged with sebum and/or dead skin cells, these small acne lesions form. Both whiteheads and blackheads are common forms of comedonal acne. Inflammatory Because of the presence of bacteria, these acne lesions are red, tender, and occasionally painful. Consider a typical red, inflamed pimple. Inflammatory acne commonly manifests as papules and pustules. Nodular and Cystic When bacteria multiply inside acne lesions deep within your skin, these severe forms of acne develop. Nodular and cystic acne are frequently difficult to treat and can leave acne scars. How Does Tretinoin Treat Acne? Tretinoin is one of the most powerful acne treatment on the market today. In fact, tretinoin and other topical acne treatments have been referred to as a "mainstay" of therapy for acne breakouts in studies. Retinoids, such as tretinoin, work by speeding up the process by which your skin produces new cells, a process known as epidermal turnover. To understand how this prevents acne, we must first cover the fundamentals of how your skin maintains and repairs itself, as well as the effects this process can have on the texture and appearance of your skin. Your skin serves several purposes. These include acting as a barrier against infectious pathogens like fungi and bacteria, regulating your temperature, keeping water inside your body, and protecting your organs from UV radiation and its effects. In other words, your skin does more than just make you look good. The outer layer of your skin, known as the epidermis, is responsible for the majority of this work. Your epidermis constantly produces new cells to replace older, worn ones in order to maintain itself. These cells are formed in the skin's basal layers. They gradually travel to the surface over time, allowing your older skin cells to detach and shed into the environment. This process is known as epidermal turnover. Consider it your skin's way of applying a fresh coat of paint as each old layer is worn away by the environment. The length of the epidermal turnover process varies according to age and a variety of other factors. The epidermis of most people changes every 40 to 56 days. So, what does this have to do with acne, and how does tretinoin play a role in it? One of the most important factors in the development of acne breakouts is the accumulation of old skin cells on the surface layer of your skin. Tretinoin aids in the exfoliation of dead skin cells by promoting skin cell turnover. This reduces your chances of developing clogged pores that develop into comedones or other types of acne. Tretinoin has other skin benefits in addition to its ability to treat acne. It directly stimulates collagen production, which can lighten and conceal lines, wrinkles, and other signs of facial ageing. It can also help with photodamaged skin, which is rough, dry, or unevenly pigmented as a result of sun exposure. These non-acne benefits are covered in greater detail in our guide to using tretinoin to treat wrinkles and skin ageing. How Fast Does Tretinoin Work? Tretinoin begins to work as soon as it is absorbed by your skin, but it usually takes a few months before you notice any significant improvements. In most studies, it takes three to six months for tretinoin to produce visible improvements in acne severity. During this time, you may notice that your skin improves gradually, or that you have fewer pimples or other types of acne. Some people who use tretinoin for acne experience a tretinoin "purge," which is an increase in acne, skin irritation, and other symptoms after starting tretinoin treatment. This is a temporary problem that usually resolves itself after a few months. After starting tretinoin, it's critical to persevere and be patient. It does work, but it may take a few months before you notice any significant changes in your skin. Which Tretinoin Cream Concentrations Are There? Tretinoin acne cream is available in several strengths in the United States, ranging from .025 percent, .05 percent, and .1 percent. Side Effects of Tretinoin Concentrations Tretinoin is a medication that is both safe and effective for the vast majority of people. However, it, like all medications, has the potential for side effects. The majority of these are minor and temporary, but there are a few you should be aware of before using any tretinoin-containing product. Tretinoin may cause the following side effects: A stinging or warming sensation Skin that is red, scaling, or dry An increase in acne lesions for a short period of time Lighter or darker skin discolouration Blisters, crusting, and swelling of the skin Pain, burning, redness, or flakiness are all symptoms of a bacterial infection. Tretinoin can also have serious side effects, especially if you have sensitive skin or skin that is easily irritated by topical treatments. If you experience severe irritation, hives, itching, or pain after applying topical tretinoin, contact your dermatologist right away. Another important tretinoin side effect to be aware of is that it can increase your skin's susceptibility to sunlight, making you more susceptible to sunburn. If you use tretinoin, you should exercise caution in bright sunlight. Wear protective clothing to shield your face from bright sunlight, apply sunscreen, and avoid prolonged sun exposure, even if it is artificial, as much as possible. The higher the concentration of tretinoin cream, as with most skin medications, the more significant the results. Creams with a higher tretinoin concentration are more effective at preventing acne and premature skin ageing, but they are also more likely to cause side effects. These side effects may be more common if you combine tretinoin with another acne treatment, such as benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. What Tretinoin Strength Should I Use for Acne? There is no "best" concentration of tretinoin cream for the treatment of acne because everyone's skin is different. Most people who use tretinoin, whether for acne prevention or as an anti-aging cream, experiment with different concentrations over time before settling on the type of cream that works best for their skin. Most dermatologists in the India begin by prescribing low strength medications to their patients. If this cream is ineffective in treating your acne, your doctor may advise you to try a stronger tretinoin cream. If you experience side effects like skin irritation, redness, or peeling, your doctor may recommend switching to a lower strength tretinoin cream, using the cream less frequently, or using an alcohol-free face moisturiser in conjunction with the tretinoin cream to prevent dryness. Finally, keep in mind that tretinoin frequently causes the most serious side effects during the first two to six weeks of use. This means that even if the concentration and dosage are perfect, there is still a chance that you will experience irritation and other "purge" effects when you begin treatment.

9 Effective Skincare Tips For Teenagers With Acne
A pimple develops when the pores of the skin become clogged with sebum; a type of oil that normally lubricates the skin and hair. Acne is common during puberty, when hormones kick in and the skin produces an abnormally high amount of sebum. Because the forehead, nose, and chin contain so many oil-producing glands, this area, dubbed the T-zone, is the most prone to pimples. Here are a few pointers to help you avoid and treat breakouts quickly: Wash your face twice daily with warm water and a gentle acne-specific cleanser (no more). Massage your face gently in circular motions. No scrubbing is required. Excessive washing and scrubbing can irritate the skin. After cleansing, apply a low-strength benzoyl peroxide lotion. Never squeeze your pimples. It's tempting, but here are some reasons why you should avoid it: Pimple popping can result in the push of infected material deeper into the skin, causing swelling, redness, and acne scarring. If you notice a pimple developing prior to a significant event, such as a wedding, a dermatologist can frequently treat it with minimal scarring or infection. Don't touch your face or lean your face against objects that collect sebum and skin residue, such as your phone. By touching your face, you can spread bacteria and cause inflamed and irritated pores. Wash your hands before applying anything to your face, such as your acne treatment creams or makeup, to keep bacteria at bay. Clean your pair of glasses or sunglasses to avoid clogging the pores around your eyes and nose with oil. Avoid tight fitting clothes if you have acne on your body. They obstruct the skin's ability to breathe and may irritate it. On scarves, headbands, and caps, dirt and oil can also accumulate. Remove your makeup before going to bed. When shopping for makeup, look for brands that list "non-comedogenic" or "non-acnegenic" on the label. Remove any old makeup that has a different smell or appearance than the day you purchased it. Keep your hair clean and away from your face to avoid clogging your pores with dirt and oil. Never skip sunscreen. While a tan may appear to conceal acne, this is only temporary. A tan may aggravate your acne rather than help it. Additionally, tanning wreaks havoc on the skin, causing wrinkles and increasing your risk of developing skin cancer. Consult a dermatologist if you are concerned about acne. Dermatologists offer a variety of acne treatment options for acne scar prevention and treatment. A dermatologist can assist you in determining the most effective treatment method for you and provide you with a wealth of useful advice on how to manage acne and care for your particular skin type.
