The Cinema Today website has recently posted a teaser trailer for the upcoming film 'Buddha 2: Tezuka Osamu no Buddha ~Owarinaki Tabi~', which is the second film in a planned trilogy. The three films will be based upon Osamu Tezuka's Buddha manga series. The latest instalment is to be directed by Toshiaki Komura and will follow a screenplay by Reiko Yoshida. The film will feature voice actor stars Sayuri Yoshinaga as Queen Mayadevi, Hidetaka Yoshioka as Siddhartha, Kiyokazu Kanze as King Suddhodana, Ken'ichi Matsuyama as Older Tatta, and Nana Mizuki as the thief Migali. The original manga series depicts the life of the young prince Siddhartha, the founder of Buddhism, and has released eight volumes overall. The second movie is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on February 8th 2014.
