Russia Doesn't Exclude Support For U.N. Approved Strike
President Vladimir Putin is quoted as saying "If there are data that the chemical weapons have been used, and used specifically by the regular army, this evidence should be submitted to the U.N. Security Council."
Putin cautioned against the U.S. striking without U.N. support.
Russia has been a strong supporter of Syria's President Assad but Putin declared that it is "absurd" for Syria to use chemical weapons when they already have the upper hand over the rebels.
Russia's non-opposition could be huge for the rebels.
