So, I've never written a fannfiction before... in my life (lol) so this should be a good start. Usually when i write, i never have a plot, i just follow what my brain wants to make it about at the time, so, I hope you enjoy? This fan fiction will have some boy x boy stuff. If you're.. not into that sorta thing, you shouldn't read it. Also, i don't know anything about Korean Honorifics so feel free to correct me~ Part: Chapter 1
Next Part: 2
Warning: Some cursing.
Info: Yoongi x Arlene ( random person i made up ) More chapters to come... I might be slow at uploading though, sorry~
Yoongi's P.O.V: "Aigo," I shouted heavily at no one in particular, staring at my tired self through the mirrored wall of our dance studio. My eyes were blood-shot and droopy, and i could barely get a hold of my breathing. My face was puffy and dripping with sweat as i once again tried to get this stupid dance right. I shook my head, watching sweat fly freely from my hair. Why was this dance so hard? It's no different from the one's we've done before, and yet I'm the only one stuck here at 5am, struggling to get just the first half down. "I... need coffee," I smirked a bit. Coffee won't wake my sorry ass up but it'll put a smile on my face as i struggle just a bit more. I'd honestly rather be writing music right now, but if i can't get this dance right then I'll mess up on stage, and i'm not trying to look like Jin. Scoffing at my own thoughts, I quickly picked up my white towel from the floor and swiped it through my hair a few times until i looked slightly presentable. Not as if it would matter, I'll be wearing a mask anyways. I threw on a coat, slipped my phone into it's pocket that already contained my wallet, and headed out. It was so quiet walking out of the building, and the only faces i saw were of the two security guards keeping watch of the building over night. "Ah, hello Yoongi-ssi," One of them bowed. I smiled at him and bowed back respectfully, stopping in front of him to exchange a few words. "God, still so formal Hyeon-yah! But that's fine, how're you?" I smiled at him, putting on my black mask and beanie. "I'm alright, just watching the front. Kwan-ssi is going on break now so i'll be keeping a sharper eye out. Where are you headed out too so early? Have you even slept Yoongi-ssi?" He asked. I could tell he was concerned. He's only worked here a year but he knows my habits well by now. I nodded, watching the other guard check out for break and walk away. "Still practicing. I want to get this new dance right so i'm... taking the initiative and practicing more. I'm always either on my bed writing or producing till 6am anyways so i might aswell. I'm just heading out to get some coffee." "Ah," He nodded and smiled. "Well please be careful! You know how worried your hyungs will be if you're not around by the time they wake up." I nodded and we both bowed, fully understanding what he meant. "Have a good morning Heyon-yah!" "You too Yoongi-ssi!" The cafe wasn't too far from the studio, plus it was still pretty early so no one was on the street. Luckily for me, this cafe opens at 5am on weekends. I took a peak at my phone, managing to still smirk at the wallpaper of Taehyungie and Jiminie goofing off together. It was taken a by them a few months back when they took my phone while i was napping. I looked up at the time and nodded, seeing that it was 5:29am. "Mmmm... fresh coffee," I sighed, opening the door. The little bell above the door chimed as i walked through, and i was imediately greeted by the lovely smell of ground coffee. I smiled a bit behind my mask and walked up to the counter, ordering a large coffee with cream and 2 sugars. Since i was the only one waiting, I got my cup immediately, paid, and sat down behind a woman who was heavily focused on her phone. I noticed that she looked really stressed out and didn't even have a coat. It was pretty cold outside too. Our backs were practically touching, but it was always better for me to sit behind or close to people. That way, if people walk in, they're less likely to notice who i am. I pulled out my phone and opened the video file of the dance we're all learning. I pulled my mask down and carefully sipped the coffee, letting it warm me from the inside out. "Okay," I whispered reassuringly to myself as i slipped off my coat and focused on the screen. This particular dance was no different from the ones we've practiced before, but there were some differences. I'm in the front line more that i usually am in this one, and my moves have to be sharper. Of course i can probably ask them to soften some of them up for me, but I have to learn at some point. I sighed, sipping the coffee once more as i replayed the video. My eyes started to widen as i saw some moves i didn't even notice before! I think the coffee is actually working... but it's making the dance seem harder! "Aigo! Why can't i get this shit right!?" I yelled at the same time and way as the woman behind me. We both turned around and faced each other, both pretty shocked. I raised an eyebrow curiously, and she just smiled at me. Her lips were full and pink-heart shaped, slightly damp from the coffee she had, and her cheeks were full and bright. Her dark chocolate brown eyes were pretty dull in this lighting, but they were so big and adorable that it was hard to look away and focus on my own work. Her long curly hair framed her face perfectly as well, and i could tell she wasn't Korean. "Ah, Yoongi-oppa," She said cutely. Her voice was so soothing to my stressed mind, that i just wanted her to talk more. "I didn't know it was you who sat behind me. I'm sorry to have shouted that and bother you. Please continue what you were doing, Oppa," She finished, smiling and turning back around in her seat. I couldn't help but speak. The words left my lips before i could stop myself... I just wanted to hear her talk more. "Are you Korean?" I asked softly. She immediately turned around and shook her head. "No, I'm from America. I'm Spanish though! I decided to move here two years ago after becoming intrigued by the history, people, culture, and fashion." She answered. "Why do you ask, Oppa? I know i don't look Korean, but i thought my speaking was pretty good. Is that why-" "No, no, no.. I just... I'm a bit stressed and your voice was soothing. I'm sorry if i bothered you... uhm.." "Oh! Arlene. My name's Arlene." She smiled, extending her hand to shake mine. Immediately she retracted it, and gave a small bow in her seat. "Anyways, I'm glad i could make you feel better. I didn't know my voice had that effect on people." I nodded, patting my table so that she could sit with me. I'm not one to keep things inside or stay quiet. If i want to talk, i will. If i want to do something, i will. If i have to tell you something, i will. I'm honest and straight forward, though some people see me as "tsundere" for it. There's no pleasing people now-a-days. She smiled and nodded, moving her chair to besides me. She sat her coffee and phone on the table, then sat back in her seat. I could see what she was wearing better, and for this weather, it wasn't much. She had on some black Timberlands, grey sweats, and a baggy black Nike sweater. I could only stare and wonder if she was wearing a shirt undern- "Oppa?" She called me out of my trance. I cleared my throat and nodded, apologizing quickly.
"Oh it's alright, I don't mind," She smiled innocently. "I'm a little shocked to be honest," She sighed, looking at her phone and scrolling slowly. "I didn't think you'd want to speak to me. After all, it's pretty clear that I'm a fan and I'm sure you came here to get some quiet and peace of mind to focus on what you're trying to accomplish." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and continued reading and scrolling. I simply sighed and shrugged, re-watching the video as i responded. "It's alright. I came here for coffee, not quiet. I've been trying to get a dance right is all, and i can't seem to get past the first half. What are you trying to figure out?" "Well... I'm a writer. I'm halfway through a book, and I've got writers block. I'll figure it out eventually though, i think i just need a break," She huffed and pouted, turning off her phone and drinking more of her coffee. I smiled at her, happy that she was a writer. I like finding people who are like me. It's easier to get along with them. "I'm sure you know that i'm a writer as well," She nodded at my words. "Do you mind if i call you informally?" Her cheeks tinted pink a bit and she nodded her head. "Y-yes you can, of course." I checked my phone quickly, noting that it was already 6:15am. Shit, Jin would be up soon... "Ah, Arlene-yah I'm sorry but i have to go." I sighed and stood, slipping on my coat. I took my phone and coffee and bowed to her. She bowed back and frowned slightly. I didn't want to leave either. "Do you know where our dorms are?" She nodded. I walked closer to her to whisper in her ear since there were more people in the cafe now. "At 11am, come by. Tell the security that you're there to see me. I'll tell them your name, and they'll let you up if you come by, alright?" She giggled and nodded, tucking her hands shyly into the sleeves of her sweater. "Alright Oppa, see you then." As i walked out of the cafe, i raised an eyebrow. I was looking for coffee to make me smile, not a girl...
So... hope you enjoyed >///< let me know what you think? o: I tried to get Yoongi's personality right. He's very straight forward and to the point. He doesn't smile often either and when he does, it's for the fans because they like it. Otherwise, he's a bit of a serious person~ Tags: @bangtanss @FalseLove
