Hello fam! Are you getting quality sleep? When educating people about self-care I've learned many of them aren't getting enough sleep and they don't have a sleep routine. Sleep is another super important asset to self-care and a healthy life. This is the time for body to reset and heal itself. Benefits of Sleep One huge benefit of sleep is time for healing inside and out. However, there are other great benefits. Think of our cellphones. If we keep them always running and never shit them down the life span is cut short and or it begins to crash. Our bodies are the same. What begins to happen with lack of healthy sleep The cycles of sleep Sleep Routine What's your sleep routine? Don't have one? I got you covered. Your sleeping routine doesn't have to be complicated. If you find that you can't sleep when it's time. Then you really need one. Good quality sleep starts before you hit that bed. My Sleep Routine 1. Playing relaxing music while I tiddy my room. 2. Lite a candle while sipping on soothing tea and or have a healthy snack 3. Shower using calming scents 4. Listen to what I want, and or read a book, and or watch 2 YouTube videos of my choice 5. Skincare 6. Shut off ringer on phone 7. Set alarms 8. Play calming music for deep sleep at low volume 9. Place phone on charger Music for deep sleep I have a playlist for sleep. Below I have an example of music you may want to explore. Snacks Time: Foods that can help increase deep sleep There are foods that can naturally help you get good sleep. This clearly plays into the song lyrics, that they are nothing without the person they love. They offer their blood, sweat and tears to them, without this person to shine for, they are empty. 2. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Nietzsche's writing often refers to the idea of eternal recurrence. This is the idea that all events in one's life will happen again and again, infinitely. "The embrace of all of life's horrors and pleasures alike shows a deference and acceptance of fate, or Amor Fati. The love and acceptance of one's path in life is a defining characteristic of the overman*. *Overman - Nietzsche thinks that it is important for every generation to overcome their humanity. To be better than it, to push forward and grow and defy the boundaries set by the mere fact that we're human. Someone who creates something new is an overman. Is Jin repeating his actions over and over again but changing it slightly each time? Are we witnessing the butterfly effect? (For example we see Jungkook on the bike again, the lilies from I Need U, etc) Will the most beautiful moment in life go on forever, and is it turning into a nightmare?
Self Care with BTS
Hello fam! I constantly making sure in order for me to reduce stress and manage mental health I must take self care important. I have some tips to help those who want to reduce stress by self care. BTS will help me out. *Disclaimer I'm not a doctor. Consult with PCP if you have health issues. I'm sharing my skin care routine.* Tip 1: Meditation and or relaxing This will help you wind down and reduce those racing thoughts. You can add in deep breathing if you like. I rest while listening to calming music or rain music. Tip 2: Pamper yourself or skincare At the end of the day I take time to enjoy my skincare routine. The scents and applying the products can be relaxing. Tip 3: Make time with friends Being around positive friends and having fun can help reduce stress and remind you that you are loved. At least once a month my friends and I always do something e.g. lunch, dinner, spa day, etc. Tip 4: Eating healthy and drinking lots of water Sometimes it is true you can be mean when hungry lol. I know I am. I feel bad physically when I eat lots of greasy foods and drink sugary drinks. Make sure to eat those in moderation and stay hydrated. This can improve health.
