진리의 파울라너 헤페바이스비어. 헤페바이젠 둔켈을 마셔본 적이 없어서, 바틀샵에서 보인 김에 골랐습니다. 역시 유럽에선 저렴하네요. 500cc인데 불과 2,000원이 안됩니다. 우리나라 맥주가 해외 수출이 어려운 까닭을 알겠네요...;;;

둔켈답게 라벨이 진한 고동색이구나~ 했는데 맥주를 따라놓고 보니 실제 맥주의 바디색상과 똑~같네요. 의도한거라고 보이는군요. 마음에 듭니다. 고동색 바디 위로는 아이보리빛의 헤드가 소복히 쌓입니다. 옅은 바나나 향이 피어오르면서 그 뒤로 달달한 캬라멜 내음이 지나가는데 스카치 캔디에서 맡아본듯한 그런 달짝한 느낌이네요. 

한모금을 쭈욱~ 마셔보는데, 바이스비어의 그 느낌이 바로 느껴집니다. 나투르트륍에서 느껴지는 정향의 느낌이 이녀석도 입안을 타고 콧속우로 훅~ 느껴지네요. 바로 전에 프린스 골든 에일을 한잔 마셨는데, 그 뒤로 이어 마셨더니 확연하군요. 

확실히 두툼~한 바디감입니다. 목구멍으로 쭈욱~ 빨려들어가는 그 느낌, 맥주의 질감이 느껴지는듯 합니다. 태운 맥아와 같은 구수함도 함께 전해집니다. 여기까진 좋았습니다. 

피니시에서 느껴지는 뭔가모를 알콜향 같기도 한 날카로움. 이게 뭔지 모르겠으나 좀 신경쓰입니다. 

전반적인 느낌이 왠지 둔켈버전이라기 보다, 나투르트륍가 큰 차이가 없는 느낌입니다...;; 아주 약간의 카라멜 같은 향을 제외하면...

뭔가 좀더 뚜렷한 둔켈스러움이 있었으면 더 좋지 않았을까.... 싶습니다. 

역시 뭔가를 맹목적으로 좋아할수는 없는거군요...;; 파울라너 헤페바이젠, 크리스탈 바이젠으로 쌓였던 파울라너 브랜드의 후광효과가 살짝 걷히는 느낌입니다.
