He's also appeared alongside his recently separated father in Flags of Our Fathers, Gran Torino and Trouble with the Curve, but the younger Eastwood insists he's paid his dues like everyone else. "People assumed that I would have everything handed to me, but that couldn't be further from the truth," he said, ticking off odd jobs he's held including bar tending, working construction and valeting cars. "I was on my own just doing the grind." But it's clear he learned a thing or two about his craft from his Oscar-winning dad. PHOTOS: Who's Your Daddy? "As a director and an actor, my dad's motto is 'Tell the truth.' The only way of doing that is having life experiences and being a storyteller," he told the magazine. Another thing he seems to have inherited from his father? Straight-talking ambition. "I want to be a man's man – not a kid actor or a glitzy pop star but a no bull–– leading man," he declared. With those rugged good looks, we predict anything's possible.
