Depression it's nothing to take lightly. It ranges from just feeling sad to feeling like the world is crushing you in the dark, you're screaming but no one hears you. Life has its ups and downs, and sometimes those downs can last longer than one would want them to. People were hashtagging "cheerup" Kai.... REALLY???? I felt like flipping them off. Even if you mean well, don't tell someone who's depressed to cheer up. That's something you tell someone who lost a bet, or watched their favorite team lose a game. Not someone who just watched his girlfriend and him get ostracised on public forums, in the media, by fans who said they love him no matter what and then turned their backs on him. I know I should be looking at this objectively but... it hurts because I understand what he's feeling. And I know many of you are going to say you understand as well. I don't think it's just Kai that feels this way. Chanyeol has admitted to crying a lot.... THAT'S IT, I'M MOVING SEOUL, MY BABIES NEED ME!!!
So Koreaboo had a good article about the interview he did with DAZED. I couldn't find the original article, if I do, I'll update this card with it. Kai “Some may not agree, but I think happiness may not be all that great. I think it’s a problem with effort, but there are times when you consciously make an effort to be happy and see happiness right in front of you. I think a lot of people don’t personally realize that they are happy when they’re happy and often just pass by it. Depending on how you make up your mind, this moment right now may be the happiest moment of your life. I make a lot of effort to say that I’m happy, to be happy. If I say, ” I really liked the interview with hyung today” when we part ways, won’t you and I both feel happy? Happiness may be something that isn’t too hard to achieve.” So you see, he does try to be happy. He tries to keep that frame of mind.
