Lisa!!!
Holy crap, she is just great!!! Lisa is a Japanese music artist and by far the best I have heard. Her music is so catchy and it has a happy tune to it. So her genes are pop, rock, and anison. If you don't speak Japanese still listen to her she is amazing. I love this picture for some weird reason she reminds me oh Nonnon from Kill la Kill. Speaking of kill la kill that reminds me she did do songs for anime.😃 Soo...what shows did she do you ask?? Fate/Zero, Sword art Online, Day Break Illusion, Nisekoi, and The Irregular at Magic High school. In my opinion her best album is land space. Why, you ask? Because her songs in "Land space" are all catchy fun and the lyrics really move to the beats in the song!!!🎵 Man I want to see her concert so bad. Who will give me money to go see her!?!? Rising hope from the irregular at Magic high school. She did an amazing job on this music Video and the song. The way she sang it really brings out the meaning of the show😍 Lisa being only 28 does a great job! I give a huge thumbs up to her!!😊 The only reason I found out about her is when my crazy friend told me who did the songs for sword art online. He said she was the best and I had to check her out. So I did and I came to loving her. Lxixsxa.com is her website it won't let me get the link.😢 So any way that's it. She's awesome. If you guys like her then make sure to tell me in the comments or fell free to message me. I'll defiantly be making some more on bands I listen to.(not just Japanese artist) But yeah if you ever go to or have been to one of Lisa's concerts make a card with a picture of the concert and be sure to tag me in it.😊 Alright Bye and keep on Rocking it!!!😍 You get music reference? No, ok. I thought it was funny.😢
A product guide to fluorescence and Photoluminescence
Above Photo: Glow Paint Industries 250ml UV Neon Face and Body Paints. Black lights emit UV Ultraviolet light that cannot be seen by humans The fluorescent paint absorbs the ultraviolet light and then re-emits the visible wavelengths that we see as fluorescence. It works in the way of one colour in one colour out. Fluorescent Paints are fluro – Neon coloured in normal day light conditions but when exposed to a black light in dark or semi lit conditions will illuminate (Fluoresce). As you can see the glow in the dark Christmas tree was a great success. Common Questions Q) Should Fluorescent Paints be used outdoors? A) Fluorescent Paints will work fine outside but over a number of years the paint will fade in colour. Fluorescent Paints are best used indoors. Q) Is there a black, Gold, Silver or Gray Fluorescent paint? A)No all these colours do not have fluorescent properties. Q) Are black lights dangerous? A) Most black lights that are available for sale in Australia are safe to use. UV Blacklights with dangerous wavelengths are not normally available for sale to the general public. Q) What type of Black Light do I need for a Fluro Party? A) To light a large area we recommend getting a 400W UV Black Light cannon. You can get these UV black lights from your local d’j supplies shop. Most d’j shops rent and sell their range of black lights. Types of Black Lights Black Light LED panels these black lights also work well and are suitable for both home fluro parties and professional use, but give inferior performance. UV Black Light Tubes are good if you are trying to light an area where there are only normal white light fluorescent lighting. You can get these from electrical wholesalers. Black Light bulbs are a good, cheap and cost effective method of buying UV black lights. We recommend buying energy efficient globes rather that the old style globes. The old style globes don’t work as well as the new energy efficient globes. You can get these from your local hardware store. You will need to check your light fittings before buying black light bulbs to check if you have bayonet or screw in fittings. The type of UV Black light you buy will determine how well the paints work under UV Black light. Above Photo: Pro black lights for large events. Above Photo: 12 Volt DC UV Black Light Is Glow in the dark the same as fluorescence? No they are not the same at all. Glow in the dark pigments in the paints absorbs light from artificial light or natural light sources and then when placed in the dark the pigments in the paint discharge and light up and Glow. There is no scientific research or evidence to prove that Glow pigments are safe to use on skin or in face and body paint. A new emerging trend is to use glow in the dark Face and Body Paints. After many years in selling glow in the dark powders and paints we know that this type of Glow paint is inferior compared to UV reactive paints. This is why 1) Glow in the dark Face and Body Paints need very dark conditions to see the glow effect. 2) This make their use dangerous. 3) They are expensive 4) They have limited colours 5) To have a good glow effect these paints need large glow powder particle sizes. This makes them look like sandpaper. Other useful information about Fluorescence in general Is there Organic Fluorescent things in nature? Yes some flowers have UV Properties which helps bees and other small insects find flowers. Fluorescent rocks and minerals Some rocks and minerals will fluoresce when near a black light. Do animals see Fluorescence? Yes they sure do. Some animals that can see in UV, are some species of Parrots (Some Male parrots have UV markings to attract mates). Some fish can see in UV, This has lead to some fishing lure manufactures to make Neon lures that are more attractive to fish. Budgies under UV Black light. Why Are These Kids At A Rave?
The 1990s were a simpler time - at least in the realm of kid birthday parties. You went out for laser tag or group-watched a movie. You had slumber parties or rented the 'party room' at your local roller rink. However, sometime between then and now, Skrillex happened - which brings us to the latest trend in children's birthday parties - KIDDIE RAVES. Introducing CirKiz - it's like that neon EDM-packed post-apocalypse you used to go to in college. But with safer goodie bags. You got your wildin' out, glowstick-wielding white bros. Guy with a cool haircut working the 1's and 2's. The person who's been going hard on fruit punch all night. And the one in the corner, currently regretting the fruit punch. CirKiz was created by some NYC-based, EDM-loving parents - Jesse Sprague and Jenny Song - who wanted to create a special place "where families can listen and dance to DJs, see live performances, and experience a nightclub environment in a safe, controlled daytime setting." Available in both New York and London, parents can choose one of several popular warehouse venues and trendy nightclubs for their CirKiz-sponsored event. One such venue, I was surprised to learn, is Cielo, a New York spot known for hosting some pretty 'high-brow' house and trance DJs. In fact, that's exactly where Jesse and Jenny first came up with their Cirkiz idea: "We had [our son's] 1st birthday party at Cielo. We invited friends with kids and friends without. It was so much fun for everyone we decided to make it an annual event but in different clubs. The message we got from all our friends was clear and consistent: 'You should do this professionally and turn it into a business... I'd pay to go.' So after years of just doing it for fun, we finally got our act together and did exactly that." Currently, CirKiz is hosting a 'winter series' of raves at NYC's Space Ibiza on Sundays, where ticket prices range from $15 - 20 per person. You can check out more details at their official website or you can be like me and just stare at these pictures, feeling equal parts confused and disturbed. With that being said: What do you guys think? Is combining kids and rave culture a good idea or bad idea? Let me know in the comments below. (Also shout-out to the LED robot in this picture up here. For a part-time job, that's - admittedly - rad as hell.)
Turn El Wire Into Neon Signs - DIY
Before today I had never heard of El wire. Neon? Sure, I've heard of that since before I was born. But what is El wire and how does it work? Well, from the looks of the tutorial from A Practical Wedding, online, it's easy to do, inexpensive and anyone can do it with the right supplies! Sounds good to me! Supplies Needed: 3′ x 3′ White Acrylic for “Love like Hell Yeah” 15″ x 17″ White Acrylic for “Love” 30 ft Pink El Wire Kit (5mm) (You can find it here from GlowCity.com) 10 ft Pink El Wire Kit (5mm) Print of Your Quote Chalkboard Marker/Dry Erase Marker Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel Control Painters Tape Gaff Tape Drill with a quarter-inch drill bit 1. Print out your word to fit the acrylic. 2. Figure out where you will need to drill holes to make your words. The obvious ones, are at the beginning and end of every word or unconnected letter. 3. Trace your word or quote on to the acrylic using a dry erase or chalkboard marker. Do a test first to make sure it comes off your plexiglass easily before you write out the whole thing! 4. Drill a hole big enough for your EL wire to fit through everywhere you marked an “x”. 5. Pull all of your EL wire through the first hole from back to front (at the beginning of the “L”) leaving just the black wire that connects it to the battery pack on the back of the sign. 6. Now just trace your word with the EL wire, bending it over itself at the curves and securing them with a couple drops of super glue gel. You’ll have to hold it in place for a minute or two until it sticks and then you can use a piece of painters tape to hold it down while it dries completely (about ten minutes). TIP: If you wipe away the writing writing as you go, it makes it easier to to remove all the writing. 7. Continue gluing your EL wire at all the curves and loops and whenever you come to one of your holes, drop the EL wire to the back of your plexiglass, then pull it through the next hole and continue. 8. When you get to the last letter, drop the EL wire through to the back of your plexi and flip it over. You can cut off the extra EL wire now—just snip it with regular scissors! 9. Wrap any extra EL wire on the back with tape. 10. Plug in the battery pack and tape it to the pack of the sign! Pretty cool idea, right?! I am going to think of some other cool things that I can use this El wire with for future projects! Click here to see other fun things I am planning for my wedding.
