Lee Minho in My Hometown
I'm from a town in San Diego, California where not a lot of K-drama related stuff happens.
So imagine my surprise when I saw LEE MINHO SHOWERING AT MY LOCAL BEACH in the first episode of Heirs!!! That is the pier that I have grown up walking on...at the end of the pier you can see one of my favorite milkshake places, Ruby's! LEE MINHO IS SHOWERING IN MY HOMETOWN WHAT THE HECK!? To make it even weirder, I went to visit a friend a while after I had seen the opening of Heirs. She moved to a part of San Diego I had actually never been to. We walked from her house to one of her favorite bars by the beach and I felt this weird sense of deja vu.
The bar was next door to the cafe where Lee Minho had lunch in episode 1!!!
Turn out, he also filmed some surfing scenes around Pacific Beach in San Diego where my friend lived...I had just never been there before!
In episode 2 Park Shin Hye and Lee Min ho were hanging out at some of my favorite downtown San Diego locations like Balboa Park and the Gaslamp district.
HOW WEIRD IS THAT!? Of course, I was at school on the other side of the country while they were filming so there was no way for me to bump into them, but how cool is that to see my hometown in a drama!?
