Spring Day Theory: YNWA When You Have Friends
Hello fam!!! First off HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
Secondly I know I said I would post something for Spring Day alas life happened...

SPRING DAY

Gosh I don't know where to start....the cinematography? the lyrics? style of music? I love it all! Moving on....I don't think Spring Day is connected with the other MVs...I have to confess I've found some of their MVs contradicting their lyircs (don't get me wrong I love the songs)...If I didn't know the lyrics for Run I would think its about friends enjoying their youth together...alas it was a love song...same goes for I NEED U...BUT!!! Spring Day was totally different!
I know when we all saw this we started reading up about Omelas and we were so sure it was gonna be the book (well first off I don't know why I thought that about Trollhit)...but I think in the MV they're talking about a place like Omelas where everything seems perfect...maybe their childhood? No place is perfect but in the eyes of a child everything's different...I think thats what this scene signifies...
And in Omelas everything is perfect...
However life has different plans....The members go back to their Omela but everything's changed...I think everyone experiences this...I mean I can go back to the park where I spent my childhood but it would never look or feel the same as it did years ago...
For me this scene is really cruical to their mv using Jungkook as an example...This scene shows us how Jungkook is reminiscing over the past by bringing it to life...the one on the train is present Jungkook...and honestly at this point I thought that their trying to tell us that life happened and they've drifted apart....
But then....BAM!
In the second gif you can clearly see Jungkook sighing in relief...You Never Walk Alone...yes there may be a time in your life (from childhood to adulthood) that you feel distant from the ones you called friends...but that never lasts...
You know it all You’re my best friend The morning will come again Because no darkness, no season Can last forever
I know many were saying that this may signify death...but I actually think the shoes are a mark of some kind (like carving your name onto a tree for you to come see it years later)...it may also mean them saying bye to their childhood...I guess you can take your pick...but one things certain Spring Day is talking about that change from childhood to adulthood and how you've always got that someone or someone's in their case to walk it with...

[BONUS]

Can we just talk about Rapmon in all his glorious tan skin...*sighh~~~*

Spring is considered the season of new life, so I get how it's about feeling different in old places because you have changed into different person and that place is essentially new to the new you.
