This week's theme in the kdrama community is romance. So I'll be giving you some of my favorite romance Kdramas.

10. Love Rain

PLOT (Source: DramaWiki)
"Love Rain" depicts a 1970's pure love and a love from the present day at the same time. It shows how the children of a previous ill-fated couple, who met in the 1970s, managed to meet and fall in love. Seo In Ha (Jang Geun-suk) and Kim Yoon Hee (Im Yoon-ah), an art student and a shy beauty, met and fell in love with each other during college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be. Now in the present 21st century Korea, Seo In Ha's son, Seo Joon (Jang Geun-suk) (a liberal photographer) meets and falls in with the daughter of Kim Yoon Hee, Jung Ha Na, (Im Yoon-ah) a cheerful and energetic girl who's personality is different from her mother's. Will their love for each other keep them together or will they have to face the same fate as their parents?
Love Rain is a great rom-com. The main couple had good chemistry. Now be warned, the first 3-4 episodes are slow paced because they tell the backstory of the parents relationship but after that it gets really good and adorable. It's a really sweet drama!

9. It's Okay, That's Love

PLOT (Source: DramaWiki)
Jang Jae Yul (Jo In Sung) is a mystery writer and radio DJ. He suffers from a obsession. He then meets a psychiatrist named Ji Hae Soo. Ji Hae Soo (Gong Hyo Jin) is going through her first year fellowship in psychiatry at a University Hospital. She chose psychiatry because she doesn't want to perform surgeries. After she meets Jang Jae Yul, her life goes through big changes. They end up becoming home-mates and things turn romantic.
This was a highly entertaining drama and thrilling. Amazing chemistry that got a lot of recognition. The storyline is great and made me cry a few times. This is a great drama that I really recommend.

8. Healer

PLOT (Source: Wiki)
A decades-old incident involving a group of friends who ran an illegal broadcasting station brings together three different people—an illegal mercenary with the codename "Healer" (Ji Chang-wook) who happens to possess top-notch fighting skills, a reporter from a second-rate tabloid news website (Park Min-young), and a famous journalist at a major broadcast station (Yoo Ji-tae). In trying to uncover the truth from that 1992 incident, they grow into real, honest reporters, while dealing with the conflict between truth and fate.
Healer is my 2nd favorite drama of all time. Amazing chemistry!!! Great storyline, great cast, great romance and funny. The soundtrack is beautiful and it kept me entertained! Plus Chang Wook stole my heart because of this drama.

7. Flower Boy Ramen Shop

PLOT (Source: DramaWiki)
Yang Eun Bi (Lee Chung-ah) is a college student preparing for her civil service exam with the dream of being a high school teacher. She accidentally encounters Cha Chi Soo (Jung Il-woo), the arrogant son of the biggest food conglomerate in Korea. Both of them end up working at a ramyun shop run by the lazy Choi Kang Hyuk (Lee Ki-woo).
I love this drama mostly because of the main leads. They are so cute and this is the drama that made me fall in love with Il-woo. He's so hot! It's a cute rom-com!

6. Another Oh Hae Young

PLOT (Source: MyDramaList)
There are two women named Oh Hae Yeong, who were classmates in high school, getting all mixed up in each other’s lives because they share the same name. The problem is that they not only share the name, but they also have the same occupation, which is probably the bigger issue. They both come to work for the same large catering company, but one is a team leader while the other is simply an assistant manager. Then there’s also a man in their lives, who has the ability to see into the future...
This drama was really entertaining. Amazing chemistry, fun cast, good plot line and really cute.

5. Pinocchio

PLOT (Source: MyDramaList)
The idealistic Choi In Ha (Park Shin-hye) has her work cut out for her when she becomes a broadcast journalist, especially when she suffers from a condition known as “Pinocchio syndrome,” which makes her break out into hiccups whenever she tells a lie. Her rookie colleagues include Choi Dal Po (Lee Jong Suk), whose shabby appearance masks his true eloquence and sharp memory; Seo Bum Jo (Kim Young Kwang), a wealthy heir who has had everything handed to him in life; and Yoon Yoo Rae (Lee Yu Bi), whose fangirl knowledge comes in handy in covering the news. The 20-something newbie reporters pursue justice as they try to discover themselves in the process.
Well Pinocchio is my favorite drama of all time and for many reasons. I love the main couple so much, they are one of my favorite otp's. Great chemistry, funny, emotional, interesting plot and the romance! If you haven't seen Pinocchio I fully recommend you give it a try!

4. Fated to Love You

PLOT (Source: Wiki)
After each of them separately drinks a love potion, everything changes. Lee Gun (Jang Hyuk) is the successor to a large company run by his family. Kim Mi Young (Jang Nara) is an average-looking secretary in a law firm who earned the nickname “Post-It” for her inability to say no to her colleagues who dump work on her. When the two cross paths one night after separately having drunk a love potion, a comedy of errors occurs. Kim Mi Young goes into the wrong hotel room because the hotel door number accidentally changes, and the door is propped open by the mischief-making love potion makers. She ends up sleeping with Lee Gun. When Mi Young finds out afterwards that she is pregnant, what will become of them? And will Kang Se Ra (Wang Ji-won) and Daniel (Choi Jin Hyuk) just stand by and let Gun and Mi Young deal with the situation in their own way? “Fated to Love You (Korean Version)” is a 2014 South Korean drama series that is a remake of the popular 2008 Taiwanese drama by the same title.
This was the very successful remake that I love so much! It's my 4th favorite drama. It's cute, funny and will also make you bawl your eyes out like crazy. But it's a beautiful drama about a baby bringing 2 strangers together and they fall in love. Plus this drama has the best kdrama ending I've seen!

3. My Unfortunate Boyfriend

PLOT (Source: Wiki)
A love story between Yoon Tae Woon (No Min-woo) who believes in living truthfully, and Yoo Ji Na (Yang Jin-sung) who will do whatever it takes to succeed at her corporate job, including lying when necessary. They end up changing each other while finding love.
So adorable, Tae-woon is my favorite kdrama character of all time. He's so cute, innocent and sweet! This is an adorable rom-com that I adore that not many people talk about.

2. Coffee Prince

PLOT (Source: DramaWiki)
The life of Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun-hye) is not easy; she works many jobs to pay off debts and even gave up her feminine image. Choi Han Kyul (Gong Yoo) is the heir of a big food company, but his grandmother wants him to settle down, so she arranged many dates for him. After Eun Chan bumped into Han Kyul and was mistaken for a boy, Han Kyul decided to hire Eun Chan to be his gay lover in order to avoid the arranged dates. Desperately in need of money, Eun Chan had no choice but to accept. Han Kyul's grandmother also made Han Kyul in charge of a filthy coffee shop in danger of being bankrupt. Eun Chan begged to work at the coffee shop, and not long after, feelings start to spark, except, how would Han Kyul accept his "homosexuality"?
Every drama fan has at least heard of this classic, if not I don't know where you have been. But Coffee Prince is a gender bender rom-com classic. It's funny, cute and the chemistry is one of the best I've ever seen! If you haven't seen it then you need to add it to your list.

1. Marriage Not Dating

PLOT (Source: Wiki)
Wealthy plastic surgeon Gong Gi-tae (Yeon Woo-jin) has no interest in getting married; marriage is all shop girl Joo Jang-mi (Han Groo) dreams about. In an effort to get his parents off his back about the constant string of blind dates and marriage prospects, Gi-tae purposely brings Jang-mi home to meet his parents posing as his girlfriend, certain that they'll never approve of her. This romantic comedy portrays a man who doesn’t want to get married, and a woman who has no luck with potential marriage prospects.
This is by far my favorite romance drama hands down! Such amazing chemistry, fun storyline, great cast, it's hilarious and cute. I love this drama to bits, it also has one of my all time ost's and the ending is perfect for this couple! I highly recommend it to everyone. Not many people talk about this drama which saddens me because I love it so much and need to watch it again soon.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Legend of the Blue Sea but I did watch till the end. Two other dramas that I kind of watched but dropped were High School Love On and Doctor Stranger. Wow, you're the first person I've heard that didn't like Coffee Prince. 😂 It was so enjoyable.
