"This is bad, no matter what way i look at it," Namjoon sighed, clinking his beer against Jin's. They sat side by side on the couch, staring at the wall deep in thought. "Though it was necesarry for Yoongi to kill them, it'll bite us in the ass. I know you did your best to fuck with their mind, but they'll find out it's a lie. They'll know their minds were messed with. They'll link it to the club, and come after us-"
"Namjoon-ah," Jin sighed, looking up at the younger one with a soft smile on his face. Namjoon's eyes begged to close as he blinked slowly. His body looked so heavy and weighed down from stress that Jin couldn't help but snake his hand to the back of his head. No abilities were used, he simply massaged the back of Namjoon's neck to relieve some of his stress. "Since you're convinced they'll come after us, then when they do, we'll be ready. It won't be for a while though. All of us are strong, and will get passed this. Don't forget, we have a very capable shifter on our side now, and a kick ass Jungkook."
Namjoon agreed, taking a swift sip of his beer. The bubbles barely fazed him as his eyes once again struggled to stay open.
"Come," Jin stood, attempting to drag Namjoon onto his feet as well. Jin was earned a sleepy groan from the younger, and smiled. "I'll help you sleep-"
"I think i'll be fine tonight if it wasn't obvious," Namjoon laughed, though it came out more as an amused huff. Jin smiled and thanked his lucky stars he'd finally get a good nights sleep. "Though... i don't want all of us asleep at once. It's too risky with what just went down. Even though you think they won't figure it out for a while, i don't want to take my chances. Tomorrow, i'll do some more digging on their gang. I'll see if Jimin can personally watch his club daily, as hiring more guards would seem suspicious, and we'll come up with some sort of plan. For now, we'll lay as low as possible. Alright?"
"Of course. I'll see if Jimin-"
"On it hyung," Jimin whispered from down the hall, careful not to wake up the rest of those sleeping. He walked closer to them, a dazed Yoongi trailing behind him. Both were shirtless, but wore long pajama pants, which Namjoon and Jin were all too greatful for. "We'll stay awake until you wake up in the morning Jin-hyung, don't worry."
"Are you sure he's okay?" Namjoon asked. He was full on observation mode, but restrained himself from peeping into Yoongi's mind. He couldn't hear hear Yoongi as if he was thinking loud or stressed, which confused him. When Jungkook had brought him home, he was a mess mentally. Now, it was as if he was blank of all emotions. "Did you... aish i don't even know how to phrase this question."
"I'm working on it," Jimin giggled cutely, his cheeks naturally tinting pink. "Jin-hyung only temporarily callmed him down and put him to sleep. Now, i'm trying to use persuasion to very slowly ease him into the reality of what happened. In his head, he's just murdered three people when he 'didn't need too.' He's trying to convince himself that their could have been another way, though he knows there wasn't. He's trying to blame himself. He's watching them die over and over in his head. Basically, he's in shock right now," he sighed, looking over to Yoongi who dropped onto the couch. Their hearts ached for him in some form of understanding. Yoongi, had he been paying attention, would have mistook it for pity.
"Jiminie, i can help you. It'll be much faster-"
"The both of you need sleep. I can do this," Jimin cut Jin off with a soft smile. Namjoon wasn't going to argue when he could barely think straight. He gave him a small nod and went to his room. Jin did the same, feeling his muscles weaken in exhaustion.
"Alright, let's try this again without burning my shirt shall we?" Jimin sighed, missing his favorite pajama top. It was fucking Gucci.
"You can buy a new one," Yoongi stated, seemingly void of emotions. Jimin knew he wasn't though, as he moved onto Yoongi's lap to straddle him comfortably. Nothing about it was sexual, but more instinctual. Jimin being as close to him as possible was all that kept Yoongi sane for the time being.
His hands slid up Jimin's clothed thighs to rest them at his hips. They didn't grip, claw or cling. He just needed to feel him there with him. A genuine smile found Jimin's lips, and he reached over to massage Yoongi's shoulders.
"Can you look at me without crying?" Jimin whispered, earning a 'no' from Yoongi. "Then i'll try again. Nod or shake your head to my questions or statements. It might feel like your logic is being twisted, because that's exactly what i'm doing." He slid his hands up from Yoongi's shoulders to cup his face in them. "Ready?"
Yoongi hesitated, but nodded. "I'll try not to burn your pants off," he joked halfheartedly, gripping Jimin's hips a bit. Jimin ignored him, and released a controlled amount of pheromones. Yoongi's eyes fluttered for a moment before snapping open, focusing back on nothing in particular.
"You killed three people." Yoongi nodded. "You didn't want too." Another nod. "You didn't think you had to." He nodded. "But you had to." Yoongi shook his head. Jimin sighed, opting for a different approach.
"Kookie's life was in danger." Yoongi nodded. "Hobi-hyungs life was in danger." He nodded. "Taemin-ah's life was in danger." He nodded. "Your life was in danger." He nodded. Jimin curved from his next statement. "Were you afraid?" Yoongi felt his eyes prickle, thinking back to just how scared he was. Guns, not just one, were pointed at him and his friends. His family. In that moment, he could only think about protection those he loved. He couldn't feel afraid first. His instincts was what he felt mostly. He nodded.
"Do you think Kookie... Hobi-hyung... and Taemin-ah were afraid too?" Yoongi nodded immediately. "Don't you think they were counting on you?" That's when he felt it. A small kick to his logic. A prick of a needle to what he was beating himself up over. Jimin was changing the way he was seeing the situation for the better. He nodded. "I... was afraid." Jimin broke, his voice cracking at his last word.
Yoongi didn't look up at him, but rubbed circles into Jimin's hips with his thumbs. "I was so afraid one of you would die. That you'd all die even." Yoongi nodded. "Woo Bin would have done such... horrible things there." Yoongi nodded. "Innocent people would have been sold or killed, right under everyone's noses." He nodded again. Jimin could tell he was getting to him. He once again, came at him with a different approach.
"You thought there was another way?" Yoongi nodded. "You think there was another way?" Another nod. A confident one. "Do you actually see said other way? How that would unfold? What you would have done to save all their lives?" Yoongi snapped his eyes up at Jimin in realization. He didn't. He continuously tried to convince himself there was another way, but what exactly would he have done? He always had a plan, but he couldn't seem to come up with one where they all would have survived.
"No," He choked out, feeling another prick at his logic. Jimin smiled, happy that Yoongi was finally able to look at him without crying.
"Keep looking at me." Yoongi nodded. "You saved four lives." He nodded. "Now think. You saved more than that. You saved the people he potentially would have sold or killed in the future." Yoongi nodded. "So i'll ask again: You think you made a drastic choice, but now thinking back on it, you realize it was the only choice. You had to kill them." He stiffened at those last five words, feeling a harsh stab at his logic. He nodded.
Jimin sighed in relief, pulling away from Yoongi's face. His muscles weighed him down, and he rolled off Yoongi's lap, lying down on the sofa. His breathing was heavy, feeling the intensity of how much of his ability he used. Drained. He felt drained and void of any sexual pheromones, which was both good and bad. As it was a part of him, it was also a part of what allowed him to live.
Yoongi blinked a bit, forcing himself to regain both his sanity and consciousness. His hands felt void of the warmth they once held, forcing him to look down at them in confusion until he noticed Jimin.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to drain you-"
"I'm alright, i won't die. I know barely had enough built up pheromones to do that in the first place, so really, i'm the one who should be sorry. Besides, at least i won't need sex tonight," Jimin joked, laughing softly before yawning.
"As if i'd deny you," Yoongi scoffed, patting his lap for Jimin to rest his head there. Jimin waisted no time, wiggling over cutely to lay his head in Yoongi's lap. He curled up as much as he could, nuzzling his face into Yoongi's stomach. "Thank you Jiminie."
"Anytime Jagiya," He giggled. Yoongi stroked his fingers through Jimin's hair softly. He reached over to the coffee table, grabbing one of the remotes that laid there. He flipped the "OPEN VIEW" button, controlling the shades in the living room. They flipped open, but only those inside the house could see outside. The shades worked like a two-way mirror.
"I'll keep a look out, you sleep." Jimin nodded, and Yoongi kept his eyes on the lookout for anything suspicious.
