Okay everyone, the epilogue is officially here; the last part of my crazy story. I hope it has just the right amount of fluff mixed with Jimin, lol. But, anyway, for those who don't read to the end comments, I just want to thank you all for sticking with me this entire story. I'm glad I wrote something people could enjoy. Thank you for being my motivation to keep writing, even when I didn't feel like it anymore. I love you guys for real.
Thank you to all of you who are reading, liking, clipping, following, and commenting.
Disclaimer: Many of the characters aside from BTS are made up and BTS themselves are not BTS in this story. And, of course, I don't know the BTS boys personally so their personalities are probably mostly fictional.

Four years later
“I swear to God, Jimin. If you tell me what to do one more time, I’m gonna scratch your eyes out!” SooJin yelled.
“Mr. Park, please stop antagonizing your wife,” the nurse berated. “And Mrs. Park, please stay calm.”
“Calm?!” SooJin screeched. “Is this crazy woman telling me—aaaaauuuggghhhh!!!”
“Mrs. Park,” the doctor spoke calmly, “your husband is right, we need you to keep pushing.”
“I am!” SooJin yelled back. “I’m just tired—Jeeeeeesus. It hurts so much!”
“I know, baby,” Jimin cooed, leaning down to her ear and holding her hand. “I know. But I’m right here with you, okay? I’m right here. I’m not leaving.”
“You better not,” she whimpered. Jimin smiled causing SooJin to let out a smile that quickly twisted back into pain as she screamed again. Jimin fought to keep from showing how strongly she was crushing his hand. Taking that pain was the least he could do for his wife. She screamed again before going limp, almost passing out.
“SooJin? SooJin, stay with me, you can do this.”
“No, I can’t. I’m so tired.”
The nurse indicated for Jimin to keep talking to her. “Yes you can, I know you can. You’ve been through worse pain than this. You can handle it. You’re the strongest woman I know.”
“Mrs. Park, we need you to push again. You’re almost finished.”
SooJin closed and opened her eyes slowly. Jimin wiped away the sweat pouring down her forehead. “It’s almost done, SooJin. It’s almost done. Just a little bit more. I know you can do it. I’m sorry it was too late for the epidural, but I know you can do this even so. Just squeeze my hand and push.”
SooJin looked to the ceiling. A scream ripping out of her throat as she was forced to push again.
“One more, Mrs. Park! One more!”
SooJin kept panting. Jimin squeezed her hand. “You’ve got this, babe. I love you.”
“I love you too, Jimin. We’re never having sex again.” Jimin couldn’t help the startled look on his face. SooJin let out a weak chuckle. “I’m just kidding. Just, next pregnancy, you’re getting me here early enough to get an epidural.”
Jimin laughed. “Yes, dear wife.” SooJin let out one more elongated screamed.
“That’s it!” the nurse yelled. “That’s it. You’re finished.” A second later, they heard the baby start crying. Both Jimin and SooJin started crying in relief. “Do you want to cut the cord?
Jimin looked at SooJin and they smiled. He let go of her hand. As soon as he saw the baby, he froze in awe. This was their baby, their precious baby, born from their love. The nurse held out the scissors and directed him where to cut; Jimin cut it. After the cord was tied, and the baby was partly cleaned, they began their assessment. After they finished, one nurse brought the baby over to SooJin while another unbuttoned SooJin’s gown to allow the baby more skin contact. They gently tucked a blanket around the baby they placed on SooJin’s chest.
Their little girl was so small and precious, Jimin was afraid to touch her. The baby was still crying, so Jimin began to sing to her. She immediately stopped crying. Jimin let out a small sob and continued singing.
“Can we have a few minutes?” SooJin asked the staff. They readily obliged and told her they would be back in a few minutes to perform the last assessment.
“She’s so beautiful,” Jimin said, his voice still full of awe.
“She is,” SooJin confirmed. They were quiet as they reveled in the presence of their new family member. A nurse came back a short time later to perform the last assessment. She wrapped the baby and then asked if Jimin wanted to hold her.
“O-of course.” Jimin hesitantly walked over. He was so afraid of messing up. The nurse placed her in his arms and Jimin started crying again. She looked so much like her mother. The baby let out small noises, but didn’t start crying. Jimin gently patted the bundle as he walked over. He showed SooJin their baby. SooJin let him hold her for a few minutes before holding her arms out weakly. Jimin transferred the baby from chest to chest to compensate for SooJin’s tiredness. Their baby just looked up at them.
“She looks like she’s trying to figure out who we are,” Jimin commented.
“She does, doesn’t she?” SooJin smiled down at her and they could swear she smiled back. “She just smiled, right?”
“I think so,” Jimin laughed. “Our beautiful little Jiyoung…” he cooed. A few seconds later, she started to cry. Both of their eyes went wide thinking they’d done something wrong.
“Sounds like she’s hungry,” the nurse said. SooJin’s eyes stayed wide. She’d practiced in classes, but that obviously wasn’t the same as doing it for real. The nurse chuckled. “I’ll show you.”
“I’ll go tell everyone, ok?” Jimin suggested. SooJin nodded.
“After I finish feeding her, they can come in, right?” she asked the nurse.
“That’ll be fine, as long as they gown up and wear masks and only a couple at a time. But they shouldn’t hold her yet. And we have more tests to perform and the usual bath and such. And you need your rest.”
Jimin left to the waiting room. Everyone stood up when he entered. “How’s my sister, how’s the baby?” Jin crowded him. Both his and SooJin’s parents were right there as well.
“She’s fine, just tired and in pain. There was a little more bleeding than normal, but they said she’ll be fine. And the baby… she’s beautiful. SooJin is feeding her right now and then you guys can come in.”
Everyone took the waiting time to congratulate Jimin. Later, a nurse came and informed them that they could start coming in. Jimin waited in the room with SooJin as people came and went. First, SooJin’s parents, then Jimin’s, then Jin and his girlfriend of three years, and then SooJin’s aunt and her husband. After that, Hoseok went in with his girlfriend of two years, Jungkook and JiEun, who had been engaged for a year now, then Yoongi with his now wife, Namjoon and HyeMi (who were now married), Taehyung and his girlfriend of six months, and finally SunYung and MinJu. Other family members, knowing how crowded it would be, would visit them once they were back home.
Two days after the birth of their daughter, Jimin, SooJin, and their newborn went home. SooJin didn’t want a huge house, but she did want a lot of kids so Jimin and she had bought a nice, large (but not too large) four bedroom house. Jiyoung would stay with them in their room at night, but they still had a nursery set up for the other times of the day and when she got older. Beautiful pink was splashed everywhere in the nursery. The two spent a day alone with their baby before allowing visitors.
After that, everything went so fast. SooJin went back to work a few months later. Most of her work was able to be done from home, except for the home visits she did for the kids she was assigned to. She had graduated early and her passion and talent did not go unrecognized for long. She had been hired and had barely started working when she found out she was pregnant.
She and Jimin hadn’t planned on getting pregnant so soon after his discharge, but that didn’t mean they weren’t happy about the news. And now they were even happier than they could have imagined, even if the baby did mean less sleep and time to themselves. Whenever SooJin had a day where she had to work away from home, Jimin’s mom and SooJin’s mom would take turns to take care of the baby.
Jimin was working towards being capable of taking over his father’s business. But he still left work as soon as it ended to come home to his family. Any extra work he had, he took care of at home. It was better to work at home with a lot of distractions than to work at work knowing his family was at home alone.
Everyone had their own lives, but they still stayed close. After the house had emptied out, Jin sold it and bought a smaller house to start his family. Life was like a dream. Everyone found their person, their life, their purpose. They were taking over the family businesses, settling down, starting (or continuing) their families, and taking control of their own lives.
Five years later, Christmas evening.
“Jiyoung! Can you let everyone know we’re gonna start opening presents?”
“Yes, mommy!” Jiyoung yelled back and then raced to the kitchen. “Mommy said it’s time to open presents.” The other younger children screamed with happiness and ran, or tripped, towards the living room. The parents followed closely behind them, laughing. Taehyung helped his very pregnant wife into one of the chairs.
Hoseok’s three-year-old son, Daehyun, and Yoongi’s four-year-old son, SiAhn, fought with each other over who got to give Jiyoung her present first. SooJin and Jimin’s two-year-old son, Sangyoung, decided to solve the problem by sitting on his sister’s lap. She fawned over her little brother as she did all the time. The two other boys pouted. Jin’s three-year-old son, YongJin, held the hand of Namjoon and HyeMi’s three year old daughter, Sora. JiEun held their barely-one-year-old daughter, Lina, while Jungkook had his arms around the both of them.
Present opening time was full of excitement, happiness, yelling, screaming, squealing, and pretty much any other noises little children could make. While the kids played with their new toys, the adults unwrapped their (mostly gag gift) presents from each other. Phone cameras were active practically the whole day. Jimin and SooJin and Namjoon and HyeMi surprised everyone with their news of being pregnant yet again. The night went long and, as the kids started to fall asleep, the parents began to reminisce as they did every year.
“These kids are gonna be as close as their parents were when we were younger,” Hoseok said as he sat down next to SooJin.
“I hope so. When they decide that they’re old enough to ‘move out and make their own decisions’, I want them to get a huge house where they’ll all live together. I want them to be able to have each other to lean on.”
Hoseok squeezed her hand. “They’ll have each other.” Then he chuckled. “It looks like the kids are gonna have a battle for each other’s hearts. If they stay this close, I mean.”
“Another generation of that, huh?”
“Yeah. I don’t remember this, but my parents said that when they used to bring us together for the few times they did, all of us used to fight over who was going to get to marry you or JiEun.”
“Really,” Jin confirmed as he sat down on the other side of her. “I remember that. I remember that I would sit on one side of you and they would have rock, paper, scissors battles over who got the other seat. If Namjoon got the spot, he’d sit there and Yoongi would sit next to JiEun and if neither of them did, they’d surround JiEun so no one could sit by her.”
The other two started laughing. “What’s so funny?” Taehyung asked as he came over, drawn by their laughter.
“We were just talking about the few times when our parents brought us together and how you guys used to fight over who got to sit by them and who was going to marry them.”
“I don’t remember that.”
“Oh! I remember one time, you and Jungkook fought over who was going to marry JiEun. JiEun picked you and Jungkook got so upset that he threw a huge fit. He said something along the lines of ‘That’s fine. I don’t wanna marry a stupid, ugly girl anyway’. JiEun started crying and Namjoon punched him. I don’t remember what happened after that.”
Jimin pulled more chairs over so everyone could sit in an almost circle.
“What happened with SooJin then?” Jimin asked, pretending to not particularly care.
“Mmm… Maybe I shouldn’t say.”
“Definitely say it then, oppa,” JiEun cut in.
“I’m not sure the wives will want to hear it…” The women started laughing and encouraged him to share. “Okay, well, it was Taehyung and Jungkook focused on JiEun, Namjoon liked a girl from school, though he would still try to sit by SooJin, Yoongi kind of didn’t bother with any of it,” everyone laughed “and Hoseok and Jimin used to fight over SooJin.”
“And SooJin followed Yoongi around the whole time.”
“Eh?! Why don’t I remember any of this?!” Jimin exclaimed.
Everyone cracked up and Yoongi shrugged his shoulders. “I vaguely remember that,” Yoongi admitted. “She said you guys were too loud and she liked that I didn’t talk much.”
“Traitor,” Jimin huffed, crossing his arms.
SooJin laughed and moved to sit on Jimin’s lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck. Jimin pouted and turned away. SooJin chuckled and whispered in his ear, “And yet, whose bed am I in every night?”
Jimin looked at her with darker eyes. “Mine,” he almost growled.
SooJin smirked. “Then I guess you win in the end. And that’s all that matters.”
When it was finally late enough, everyone headed for home. SooJin and Jimin got ready for bed and checked on the kids. Jiyoung had her own room, just as she asked for, and, since she couldn’t bear to be away from her brother, Sangyoung shared a room with her. The parents stood next to the floor bed and looked down at their kids. Jiyoung slept on her side with one armed draped over her little brother, protecting him even in his sleep.
The two went back to their bed. SooJin laid peacefully in Jimin’s embrace. One of his hands stayed on her belly. She wasn’t showing yet, but he wanted to let that baby know he was there.
“You know that promise I made on our wedding day?” Jimin asked.
“The one where I said I would make you the happiest woman in the world and that I would make all the pains from your past disappear.”
“Ah, that one,” she teased. She gave him a quick peck on the lips. “Yes, I remember that.”
“Have I kept that promise?” SooJin looked at him with an ‘are you really asking me that’ expression. “Have I?”
“Of course you have.” She snuggled into his chest. “I’ve only been happy since we’ve been married. Aside from that stupid broad.” SooJin made a face as she remembered that woman who tried to create a scandal saying she was having an affair with Jimin. SooJin never believed it for a second, and she still wouldn’t have, even if the techs hadn’t been able to prove that the picture was photoshopped. “She made such a fuss.”
Jimin held her tighter. “Thanks for standing by me. Even with everything that people said. Thank you for believing in me…”
“There’s nowhere else I would rather stand than by your side. I’ll always believe you.” SooJin turned her head up and kissed him, trying to convey all of her love for him. Then she turned him on his back and straddled him.
“I-Is it safe to do this?” Jimin stuttered.
SooJin chuckled and captured his lips in a brief, but passionate, kiss. “Don’t worry, I checked with the doctor, again. And like the last two times, she recommended it; she just said to not be rough. Even better than that, you don’t have to worry about a condom, though that obviously didn’t help this time anyway.” SooJin bent over to let her mouth linger next to Jimin’s ear. She could feel him already getting excited. “And you already know that I’m probably going to get reaaallly needy over the next few months. So you better be able to keep up.” She nipped his ear.
Jimin immediately responding by flipping their positions. “Me keep up? You know that’s never been a problem.” He attacked her neck and she began to moan.
SooJin shoved him off when she saw a sliver of light appear on the wall.
“What—“ Jimin started.
“What’s the matter, sweetie?” SooJin called to their daughter. The door opened more and both of the kids, holding hands, were highlighted by the hallway light.
“Sangyoung’s thirsty,” Jiyoung replied, rubbing her eyes.
“Alright sweetie. Let’s get him something to drink,” she said as she got up, putting on her robe. The kids walked to the kitchen. SooJin quickly kneeled down on the bed and went back down to Jimin’s ear, grasping his half-hard member gently over the covers. “Don’t worry, I’m not done with you yet.” Jimin fell back onto the pillow with a moan. “Like putty in my hands.”
Jimin looked at her with dark eyes. “I’ll show you who’s putty,” he warned.
Through everything they had dealt with, all the mess and pain and suffering and wandering in darkness, they had found their lives. SooJin had everything she could have ever hoped or dreamed for. The past was behind them and only the future lay in front, waiting to be explored. All their fears they’d had so long ago had dissipated as life showed them that it could, in fact, be kind. The bonds of family and friendship tied them all together.
And just as their generation had each other in times of hardship and happiness, all of their children would have each other. In times of love and loss, within the group or outside of it, sharing happiness or pain, they would be there for each other. And that was something humans only dared to hope for.
Okay, I know the ending was a bit cheesy, but I just couldn't help it. I wanted to wrap it up nice and prettily. I really hope you enjoyed it. I really did love writing this story (for the most part). Thank you again for everyone who read this story and commented, liked it, etc. It helped me to keep with it. And please don't be afraid to tell me if you think I screwed something up or if there was something I could've done better. I really like hearing people's opinions because I'm the only one editing my stories. Any imput (preferably constructive) is welcome.
For those of you who would like to go back and check out how it would've gone with Hoseok, click here for chapter 17, the one right before the split in case you need a refresher. Or click here for chapter 18, which is the first Hoseok specific chapter. Or you can click here to start at the beginning again for a complete refresher. Or if you're content with your choice, then I'll leave it here. Thank you all again, and I'll see you soon when I make a general announcement for my next story. Or if a one-shot catches my attention, lol.
Thank you @Mavis2478 for the story. This story was basically entirely your idea. I just tweaked it a bit and wrote it into chapters. I wouldn't have been able to write this if you hadn't messaged me about it, so thank you. I hope I was able to bring it to life the way you hoped I would and I really hope I didn't disappoint.
