There is a Tree House Cafe in Japan and I NEED TO GO

I just saw this place on YouTube and I am so in love.


It's a bit far out from Tokyo (its near Yokohama) so I won't be able to go during my trip next week but OMG I WANT TO GOOOO!

It's called Nanjya Monjya Cafe and it is a legit tree house.

You can just hang out in the treehouse, drink coffee, and chill all day!

Plus LOOK AT THESE PANCAKES THEY HAVE.

If this isn't the cafe of my dreams I don't know what is <3

Starbucks Drinks You Can Only Get in Seoul
Alright Starbucks aficionados, here's a drink you've probably never tried. Meet the Lavender Cafe Breve and the Orange & Dark Mocha. These two new concoctions are only available at Korea's 1000th store, located in the Cheongdam area of Seoul. Cheongdam is basically Beverly Hills - its where all the celebs live and work, all the wannabe celebs hang out, and its the luxury shopping and plastic surgery capital of Asia. My Food at the Sailor Moon Cafe! (Talk About It Tuesday)
Soooo, for this week's talk about it Tuesday (started by @invinsybll) , the theme was Anime Accessorizing, but I already showed off my accessories last week! So, instead, I wanted to show off something fun I got to do back in September when I took a short trip to Japan. Now, I don't like to brag, but I was lucky enough to go to the Sailor Moon Cafe that was going on at that time!! I haven't really talked about it before, so here goes~ Now, I didn't take many pictures , but this is the food that I ate! Isn't it cute? It was a Sailor Jupiter themed bento box. I loved it! Everything in it was tasty. The rice balls were mushroom veggie rice balls, the spaghetti was sweet, and the little pieces of cutlet were seafood cutlet! Yummmmmmyyyy!! I also got a Tuxedo Mask Coffee! Isn't it cute?! It really didn't taste THAT great (ever had a cold, canned coffee? It sort of tasted like that, lol). But it was adorable and that's all that matters. I also got the Sailor Mars coaster you see in the background, and a little Sailor Mars dessert, too!! I didn't take pictures of the interior, but it was basically just a bar set up with a lot of memorabilia. They played episodes of the show on the TV screens throughout the room, and music from the series the whole time! You could text in a request & they would play that, too. They also had goods for purchase, but it was a bit pricey just to be there so I didn't buy anything. And that was my experience at the Sailor Moon Cafe!
There is a Cereal Cafe in Seoul!
Midnight in Seoul is a cereal lover's dream come true. I headed over to this new cereal bar this weekend and loaded up on SO MUCH SUGAR. You can mix cereals, choose toppings, different milks, etc and it was SO GOOD! I got cocoa puffs + reeses puffs + bananas + soy milk + whipped cream + cookies + choco sauce. These Cats Might Love Japanese Food More Than You.
If the photos in her Instagram account provide much testament, Naomi Uno and her husband are really amazing cooks. So much so, their beloved cats have developed an extremely strange habit of watching them eat what they've made! The cats often follow the smell... ...get up on the kitchen table... ...and stare. Just stare. No attempts at swiping anything from the table. (Okay, at least not every time.) This habit became so frequent and strange that Naomi decided to document it on her Instagram account (@naomiuno). To date, her feline friends have helped their owner rake in over 42,000 followers from all over the world. I mean, how could you not relate to their response to such epic meals? The couple has since gotten a little creative with their set-up. And even spruced their shots up with brand new plating. But no matter which fancy new things they (literally) bring to the table... The cats remain the same - salivating over a huge spread of Japanese yum. My personal favorite is this shot of purrfectly purrsonalized okono-meow-ki. My Week-Long Japanese Adventure!
I just got back from a week long solo adventure in Japan! Here are the videos I've made documenting my trip^^ 1. Koyasan to Kyoto I went from plane to train to cable car to bus to get to the GORGEOUS cemetery on top of Mt. Koya in Japan. It took over 3 hours to get there but it was so worth it! I stayed there for one say then headed down to Osaka to check out a really fun cafe. Then I ended the day getting to my AirBnb in Kyoto :) Here are some photos: 2. On April 8th, Buddhist temples all over Japan will be celebrating Hana Matsuri, a festival of flowers meant to honor the birth of Buddha with special ceremonies and decorations of colorful lanterns and plenty of flowers - including the famous springtime bud, the cherry blossom - also known as sakura. Sakura signifies springtime and, when they're in bloom, are often incorporated into several different traditional Japanese treats.
