- 4 dessertspoons cornstarch
- 170 g (6 oz) sugar
- 60 g (2 oz) unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon rosewater
- 450 ml (16 fl oz) water
Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan.
Stir the mixture over medium heat until thick and sticky. Grease
an 18-cm x 28 cm (7 in x 11 in) pan lightly with butter and pour in the
mixture. Leave it to cool and set. Cut diagonally into strips of
2 cm (3/4 in) wide to create diamond shape pieces.
