Are jackpot candles worth it?
For the last few years, jackpot candles have been one of the most popular party trends. But are they actually worth it? If you're having a dinner party, will you really be able to use up all of those extra candles? And how much do jackpot candles cost anyway? Check out this blog post for answers to all your burning questions. 1. Why jackpot candles are worth it Jackpot candles are worth it because they’re affordable, last a long time, and can be used to make a whole room smell good. If you’re someone who can’t afford designer candles, scented candles are a good option. They’re a great way to fill up a room with a specific scent. They also make a great gift — if you can find a scented candle in the right size that matches the color of your existing decorations. How Do You Use Jackpot Lights? They can be used to create an intimate atmosphere. If you’re hosting a dinner party, sprinkling a few scented candles on your dinner table is a far better way to create an “nerdy but fun” atmosphere, rooted in the basic human need to connect and be social. So is it worth sacrificing your current candle collection for better bang for your buck? Let’s take a look at what people are saying: “I purchased 40-60 scent- and scent- candles to add to the house’s scent. I love them! The smell is subtle, yet noticeable. They smell like a spring evening with cinnamon and fruity-flavored fruits.” — Mollie R. “It takes a moment to get used to it, but once you do, your home/office smell is amazing. Sherri made the best batch I have yet!” — Carol S. “I use raised pool lights. I am writing my master’s thesis now and it smells great as I am writing.” — Tim G. “They start out the room smelling of candles but after awhile they can also smell like organic fruits and flowers.” — Brian P. “My candles from 8/$10. The only issue I had was jar they fell out and they weren't replaceable.” — Karen W. “The candles I’ve used so far, seemed high priced but their results have been excellent.” — Tim S. That said, like any party trend, there are tradeoffs if you want a great scented candle that lasts a long time. 2. How much do jackpot candles cost? Most jackpot candles cost $30-$50, depending on the size. Just make sure to read the fine print. Some candles have a $30 shipping fee if you don’t live in the US, or you’ll be charged an international shipping fee, which can add a few dollars to the total cost. The biggest benefit of using jackpot candles is that they can last up to six months, as long as they’re stored in a cool, dark place. If you purchase a small batch of candles for a dinner party, you may be able to use up all of them before the remainder run out. The biggest danger of using candles with high lume is the danger of spillage. Jackpot candles work by filling your home with a yellow light. The more of these you use, the more likely you are to drift off to sleep. Since manufacturers recommend using them only within a nine-foot cone, you should avoid placing more than two candles in one room. The problem with reading this article now is that most jackpot candles are discontinued after a limited time. It’s the same with a lot of other holiday party products. If you’re looking to maximize the value of your firework or traditional decoration purchases, do your research ahead of time. While most of these are relatively inexpensive, it’s always a good idea to avoid purchasing anything that has expiration dates. If buying a few candles is something that interests you this year, jackpot candles might be your best option. But make sure to take advantage of the great deals they’re currently offering if you want to save the best for last. Now go make the best out of your gift giving this year. 3. How many candles do you get in a jackpot candle? If you’re just starting out with jackpot candles, you might be wondering how many candles you get in a jackpot candle. You might also wonder how many candles you get in a jackpot candle that’s a certain size. I think we all understand what a miniature jackpot candle looks like. These are awful, and they cost a pretty penny to make, even if they look pretty. You probably have several little mini-sized candles tucked away. How many candles do you get in this ‘small’ candle? A “small” candle is really just that — it has less wax burned into it than other sizes. So, if there are 6 mini-sized or smaller candles, you could get 60 candles in this one. Or, if you had 9 mini-sized or smaller candles, you would get 103 candles. But of course, the larger the candle, the more wax (we’ll explain this later), so the bigger the candle, the more candles you get in total. A “medium” candle is just that: it has a little bit more wax in it than other sizes. Here, for example, are two “medium” candles — you get 85 in total, but only 60 of those are “medium” size. So, why are they called “medium” instead of “small”? Because they pack a lot more wax in there than some of the smaller candles. Let’s say you have 3 “medium” candles. You’ll have 153 total candles in your “small” candle. Medium-sized candles usually have around 12–15 to 18 candles in them, but well, “medium” isn’t always the size that comes with the most wax burned into it and therefore the most candles. If you have a 4th “medium” candle, you’ll get 183 total. Now we’re back to “small” vs “medium” — then the 4th candle would probably be “small” again because it would only have 4–6 candles in it. 4. How much wax is in a jackpot candle? Jackpot Candles are made from soy wax, which is a renewable resource. Soy wax is a healthier alternative to paraffin and beeswax candles because it’s free of toxins and is made from a renewable resource. The soy beans used to make soy wax are grown in the USA and are non-GMO and pesticide-free. For the last several years, the wax production process has remained pretty much the same. The candle factory produces the wax by adding small amounts of colored pigments to soy oil mixed with sand and beads. The resulting candle is then infused with essential oils, molecules that act as herbal medicine. Before you purchase a batch of candles, the factory will prepare some samples to give away to select customers (green, yellow, pink, blue, red, etc.). The point of this is to test out the colors for each batch of candles to make sure they all look the same. Once the test runs are over, the samples go to the general public. 5. Can you really use up all of those extra candles? The great thing about candles is that you can make them last longer if you know how to burn them properly. Here are a few tips: 1) Never leave your candle burning unattended. 2) Always trim your wicks. 3) Use glass containers to protect your wick from wick-eating insects. 4) Don’t be afraid to use clear containers, or you might lose all of those slimy green strands instead. 5) When you use a clear container, make sure you keep it away from other items like cutlery, plates, glasses, and silverware. 6) Lit candles To ensure your candle burns evenly without getting too hot, place it in a bowl filled with equal volumes of water and non-sparkling salt. The less water in the bowl, the less chance your candle has of getting too hot. If you use clear or plastic containers, fill them with the needed amount of water. (Glass containers work well for this.) Place the bowl over the candle, close the lid tightly and let the candle sit for a few minutes, until the salt settles. From time to time, flip the bowl upside down and pour more water in to make the water boil. Once the fluid starts to boil, gently lower the bowl over the candle and open it once the water has boiled away. It’s best if the surface of the water is perfectly even with no bubbles. Wait a few minutes for the water to cool before opening the cover. Then, place the container with the candle into the refrigerator to cool to room temperature. (A little dropping on the surface of the water isn’t a bad thing.) 6. If BTS Were in Boys Over Flowers
Now, I think there are a lot of things wrong with the plot of BoF (mainly the boys treat Jan-di like crap) but its still funto imagine it as a less problematic drama. Here's who I'd cast! Gu Jun Pyo - Suga The leader of the F4 and heir to the Shinhwa Group, one of the biggest companies in South Korea. He is hot-tempered and believes that there is nothing that money can't buy. Though he's unable to express his feelings, deep down, he has a heart of gold. He torments Jan-di after she stands up to his bullying ways, but ends up falling in love with her and will do anything to protect her. Yoon Ji Hoo - V A member of the F4 and the grandson of a former president of Korea. He has a driving phobia after being involved in a car accident that killed his parents and left him the only survivor. He is initially in love with his childhood friend Seo-hyun, who helped him overcome his social anxiety. Calm and gentle, his musical talent catches Jan-di's attention and she begins to develop feelings for him. So Yi Jung - Jungkook A member of the F4 and a skilled potter. His family owns the country's biggest art museum. After losing his first love to his brother, he becomes a Casanova. He eventually changes his playboy ways when he realizes that he likes Ga-eul. Song Woo Bin A member of the F4, his family runs the country's largest construction company, which Woo-bin later admits has strong connections to organized crime. However, he has excellent business sense and is very charismatic. He's a super nice guy that happens to be a gangster lol and of course RM, Jin, and Jimin are the dad, mom, and little brother :) How would you cast BOF?

10 classic K-dramas that almost had totally different stars
As we watch our favorite K-dramas, it can be hard to imagine anyone else acting in the starring roles. However, some of the biggest K-dramas could have been very different if they had gone with their initial casting choices. Here are a few big K-dramas that had very different casting possibilities: 1. Jang Geun Suk instead of Lee Min Ho in Boys over Flowers That's right. The role of Jun Pyo almost went to Jang Geun Suk, but he rejected it in favor of his role in Beethoven Virus. It's possible that the popularity of Boys over Flowers encouraged Jang Geun Suk to take the lead in You're Beautiful. 2. Kim Ah Joong instead of Yoon Eun Hye in Coffee Prince Kim Ah Joong had received a script for Coffee Prince, but she turned down the role because she couldn't cut her hair due to an ongoing contract with a shampoo company. 3. Jung Yong Hwa instead of Kim Woo Bin in Heirs Yong Hwa rejected the bad boy role in Heirs because he felt that starring in another high school role opposite Park Shin Hye would be too similar to past roles. Instead, he took the second lead in Marry Him If You Dare. 4. Jang Hyuk instead of Hyun Bin in Secret Garden In spite of the massive success of the series, Jang Hyuk has stated that he doesn't regret dropping out of the role because it didn't suit him. 5. Won Bin instead of Jo In Sung in That Winter, the Wind Blows The popular melodrama was supposed to be Won Bin's comeback drama, but he eventually rejected the role, which went to Jo In Sung instead. 6. Lee Joon Ki instead of Lee Min Ho in Faith Lee Joon Ki was originally cast in the lead role, but filming overlapped with his enlistment date, so he dropped out of the drama. 7. Song Joong Ki instead of Kim Soo Hyun in The Moon that Embraces the Sun Joong Ki was offered the role, but he declined because he felt that it was too similar to his role in Tree with Deep Roots. Park Yoochun also declined the role. 8. Moon Geun Young instead of Han Ga In in The Moon that Embraces the Sun Reportedly, Moon Geun Young was the first pick for the lead in this same drama, but her production company refused the role because they feared it wouldn't be popular. 9. Cha Seung Won instead of Jang Dong Gun in A Gentleman's Dignity Cha Seung Won has reportedly rejected offers for several big roles, including the leader of the F-40. 10. Lee Jung Jae instead of Rain in Full House When Lee Jung Jae dropped out of Full House to prepare for the movie Typhoon, it allowed Rain to get his big acting break.
