So I'm taking a break from some of my other stories... well.... just yeah *writers block.. aka the story of my life...* and Im gonna try and just focus on this story until it's complete. This is an actual story where I have thought of the whole plot and ending all the way through... and not just thought of the story line as i write it like my other stories. So I hope you enjoy the first Chapter, let me know what ya think :)

Chapter One

Snap… went the chain around the girls neck when the other car made contact with hers. One, two, three times her car flipped before coming to an complete stop. Blood dripping from her head, her vision coming in and out while she desperately tried to hang on to her consciousness. The last thing she saw before blackness overtook her was her small compass pendant shining in the moon light.

Her eyes were closed but she could hear everything around her. The doctors desperately trying to save her, her mother crying, and the faint sound of her heart monitor beeping in the background. Days became weeks, which then became months, which then turned into a year… and she was still laying in the same hospital bed. Unable to move, but hearing everything around her.
Just waiting… waiting for the day when she could finally find the strength to open her eyes.

*Two years later…*

"That's just a story someone made up while they where drunk out of their mind." I said to my friends. My friends and I were all sitting around the TV playing video games when the story of the "haunted rose garden" came up in the conversation. It was the last thing I wanted to hear about, especially since that "haunted garden" was now across the street from my new house.
"No way man!" Jinyoung said. "The stories started 3 years ago, and they didn't even come from some drunk dude. The owners who once lived in that house were the ones that first noticed something going on in that garden!"
"Yeah," Mark piped in, "They kept hearing crying from the garden at night, and every time they would plant something in the garden it would die the next morning."
"Oh yeah and something about how the roses in the garden would never die… even in the winter. And I think they even tried having the rose bushes pulled out one year and they were back the next day." Jinyoung added.
"Guys, stop scaring JB." Jackson said while throwing his arm around my shoulder. "Can't you tell he is shivering in his little booties." They all started laughing as I pushed Jackson away from me.
"I'm not scared, I'm just tired of all your childish stories." I said.
"They're not childish stories!" Jackson said in between his laughs.
"If you don't believe us JB, then I dare you to go into the garden later tonight. And if you can't last more than an hour in the garden…you…" Jinyoung said looking around my room trying to think of something. "You have to… ah! You have to give us your new PS4 with your beloved Final Fantasy game."
I let out a sigh, that boy knew too much about my gaming addiction. He knew there was no way in hell I would let any of them get there hands on my new game.
"Fine!" I said while I stood from my seat. "When should I go?"

*12:15 am*

I looked back at my house after I crossed the street. My friends waved at me from my bedroom window. I shook my head, I can't believe I got caught up into one of their childish dares. I put my hands in my jacket pockets and continued moving forward towards the rose garden. I didn’t worry about anyone catching me for trespassing, seeing as the house had been abandoned for a little over a year now.
Weeds had over taken the gate that led to the garden. After I tore away enough weeds, I was finally able to open the gate. There were dead plants everywhere, what at one time could have been a beautiful garden was now nothing but a wasteland of dead plants. As I walked farther into the garden I noticed the familiar color of red coming from the rose bushes.
I noticed as I got closer what seemed to be a swing right in the middle of all the roses. It had been slightly moving back and forth because of the light breeze.
"I told them, there is nothing here." I said to myself. I walked in between some of the rose bushes and sat down on the swing while pulling out my phone. Now I just had to stay in this garden for 45 more minutes and I could rub it in their faces that I was right.
After about 20 minutes I heard a slight ruffle of leaves coming from behind me. I shook the sound out of my head, it was probably just some of the neighborhood cats roaming around. I looked back down at my phone and noticed that my phones battery had finally decided to die on me. Great, I think to myself. I put the phone in my pocket and stood up from the swing. I kicked at the leaves that were under my feet. I guess I can look around some more, I thought.
I had only taken a couple steps away from the swing, when I had heard the crying that every story about this place had mentioned. But it wasn't the crying that made the shivers that were now running down my spine appear... it was the words that I heard after the crying…

"Help me, please."
