It took me a long time to get around to this one. I'm not entirely sure why, I just never got around to watching it or even noticing it.
Buuuut now that I've finally gotten around to see it I can say that I would easily recommend this particular anime if you like good music, good animation, great voice acting, and overall relatable and developed characters.
Because this particular anime was so great I'm going to avoid the spoilers and just tell you why I liked the show, it's characters, who was my favorite and why.
I very much enjoyed this particular anime due to the style with which it told it's story and how the characters felt or feel. They didn't beat around the bush, they got to the point and it didn't feel rushed or too slow at all. Also the music performed by the characters is stunningly amazing and makes you want to attend or look up live performances like the ones shown in the show. I quickly became interested in the instruments and the way with which the 'artists" I'll call them, played the music. It really felt as if I was sitting there listening to them put their heart and soul into their craft and I really enjoyed it.
This anime made me once again appreciate all types of music as they can show all walks of life, how you play the piece can reflect how you feel and you can make something else from the music you are playing and/or listening to. On top of all that there were relationships in the show once again giving us the viewers something to relate to and even in some cases reflect upon.
Even if you're not into musical anime or relationships I feel that everyone should watch and sit through this show at least once. Because there are multiple lessons to be learned here. I learned that people can take a set piece of art or music and turn it into something so amazing and passionate that it can even surpass the quality or the feeling of the original piece.
I know this review is a bit more personal and in-depth when it comes to what I thought of the anime and what not but I feel that this Review-ish was perfect for it and I hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it.
So what do I rate this anime?
Well it should be obvious my friend.
Your Lie in April aka Shigatsu wa kimi no uso
deserves a solid 10/10 snowballs hands down!
I absolutely fell in love with this anime, how it told the story, the characters themselves were very relatable, the voice acting was almost perfect AND the music was by far some of the best I've heard in years.
I hope you all enjoyed this weeks Review-ish. Thank you all for reading and I'll see you!
P.S. Kaori was my favorite. Watch the anime to find out why.
