Everything in my body was telling me to run.

Yet my feet couldnt move, no matter how hard I tried to make them. I turned my head toward where the words came from. Where I was once swinging, there now sat a girl with long black hair. She was wearing an older style school uniform, one I hadn't seen before. Her hair fell over her face as she starred at the ground. The hair on the back of my neck stood straight up.

"You're not going to help me are you?" The girl said. I stood still, my heart was racing. It was like I was in a trans. I snapped myself out of it and I could finally move my feet again. I ran through the garden as fast as my feet could carry me. I didn't care if I hadn't lasted over an hour in that garden, I needed to get out of there! I ran back across the street to my house where my friends had been waiting.

I busted open the door to my bedroom, Mark was asleep on my bed and Jinyoung and Jackson were playing a racing game on my Xbox.

"Told you he wouldn't last." Jinyoung said to Jackson.

"Guys, I need you to come with me now!" I went over to my bed and shook Mark awake. "Mark come on." The boys looked at me like I was insane.

"What the hell is wrong with you man?" Jinyoung asked. I ignored his question, there was no way they would believe me if I told them. I had to show them! The boys watched me as I searched for my flashlight and spare phone battery.

"Just- just please come with me alright?" I asked as I turned to face them. "There is something- or someone in that garden. I need you guys to see it to so I know I'm not going insane." I said.

"Too late for that," Mark chuckled as he stood from the bed behind me. "Alright I'll come with you." He said as he slipped on his jacket and looked for his shoes.

"Fine," Jinyoung sighed, "We'll come too. But if we don't find anything we still get your PS4.."

"Whatever," I said checking to make sure the flashlight in my hands worked. "Let's go!"

*15 Minutes Later*

"JB, I don't see anything. Let's go back." Jackson said as we moved through the rose garden.

"No, it should be right over here." I pointed the flashlight forward as we walked in the direction of where I saw the swing. We turned the corner of where the swing should have been... and... nothing. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief, the swing was no where in sight. I looked around at the boys, who just stood there starring at the rose bushes.

"Are we suppose to be seeing something here... other than roses?" Jinyoung asked while crossing his arms. I walked forward.

"There was a swing right here," I said pointing to the now empty space. "And there was this girl... on it." I starred at the spot where the swing and the girl once was. There was no way in hell I was imagining that... no way!

"Alright JB," Mark said while walking up and throwing his arm around my shoulder, "I think you need sleep my friend. Let's go."

I shook his arm off, "Hyung, I'm serious. I'm not making this up."

The boys shook their heads in disbelief and started walking towards the gardens exit without me. What the hell is going on? I think. Maybe I was imagining the whole thing. I turn and follow the boys out of the rose garden.

"Guys wait up!" I yell at them as I walk out and begin to close the garden gate. I pause right before I fully close the gate. The shivers I had earlier had returned... with the soft sound of crying coming from the garden. Please don't leave me here... Only you can help me now... The girls voice was ringing in my head. I close the gate and slowly back away from it.

"JB come on!" Mark yells from across the street. Who are you? I think to myself before turning and returning to my house across the street. As we make it back into my room the only thing I can think of is that girls voice in my head.

"....You know that right?" Jinyoung asks bringing me back to reality.

Jinyoung cleared his throat, "I said since you lost the bet we get your PS4 and the game. You know that right?"

"Oh yeah sure..." I said while looking around my room. "Hey Jackson where did you put my binoculars the last time you used them?"

Jackson pointed in the direction of my bookcase, "It should be over there."

You know that feeling when you get so caught up in your curiosity that everything else just kind of fades off into the background? THAT was the feeling I was having at that moment. I had found the binoculars and had been using them to look across the street for hours. I hadn't noticed my friends as they had left with my game system and oh so precious game... My focus was on one thing and one thing alone. Why was I the only one that could see and hear the girl in that cursed garden across the street? And why did she need my help?

And just like that the girls voice came back into my head... Because I chose you...
