"At the now abandoned Grytviken whaling station (South Georgia), this lone King penguin stood motionless for several hours, like a solitary sentinel, guarding memories of atrocities past, ensuring that no one forgot what had happened here less than 60 years ago. After about 2 hours of gentle wind, the breeze stopped, it feel silent, and the snow started to fall, making the moment even more poignant."
