@balishag wheel depth adds to how aerodynamic the bicycle can be. Less wind resistance = more speed However, these wheels will affect riding conditions with cross winds, pushing the bike to the side due to increased surface area on the wheel. (these bikes way between 2-5 pounds, wind means a lot)
