7 Scientific Reasons Why Sleeping Naked Is Really Good For You
For as long as I can remember, I’ve forgone traditional pajamas for the pajamas the Good Lord gave me — my skin. Much to the horror of my roommates, I sleep completely naked. I’ve never found this weird or out of the ordinary. It’s comfortable, easy and I spend less money on stupid clothing only my teddy bear and I see. Why would I put on pajamas when I can bask in the glory of nakedness, having only my sheets as the barrier between me and my beloved bed? Apparently, I am an outlier. According to a 2012 study, only eight percent of Americans sleep nude. It appears the majority of US citizens don’t fly by my “Naked And Free” mantra and prefer to keep their bodies encased in a sausage sleeve of flannel whilst they venture into dream land. Bah! Bah, I say! For your information, America, sleeping naked is actually really f*cking good for you. It improves your happiness, your quality of sleep and will even get you laid more often. What I’ve known for so long, science has finally confirmed. Here are seven perfectly logical, totally scientific reasons why you should sleep in your skivvies: You’ll get way better sleep. According to The American Academy of Sleep Medicine, your body temperature naturally declines as a part of your Circadian Rhythm as you sleep deeply. Wearing pajamas could disrupt this natural drop in temperature and, as a result, disrupt your body’s sleep cycle. Disruption in the natural decline of body temperature is also directly linked to insomnia. If you can’t cool down, you’re going to sleep like sh*t. By skipping the drawstring PJs, you’re really just helping your overall sleep improve. That’s just science. You can air out your lady parts. Jennifer Landa, MD, author of The Sex Drive Solution for Women says sleeping naked is healthy for your downstairs lady bits. Because your vagina has a climate similar to a tropical rainforest, it can be a breeding ground for bacteria and yeast. By ditching underwear and pajamas, you allow your vagina the much needed aeration it requires to stay dry and healthy. And, as we all know, a healthy vagina is a happy one. You’ll feel sexier. Sleeping naked is plain old sexy. When you’re with your new boyfriend, there’s nothing nicer than waking up in buff, ready and eager for morning sex. Waking up without pajamas in the way automatically puts you in a sexy state of mind. Since you’ll be starting the first few minutes of your day slipping your naked body alongside your partner’s, you can bet your naked butt, you’ll feel a whole lot more confident. It also means you’re comfortable enough with yourself to let it all hang out (figuratively speaking… I think). A more confident you is a more beautiful you — and not just to yourself, but also to others. You’ll reduce your belly size. If you opt for sleeping in the buff, you could reduce the fat around your belly and even lower your cholesterol. According to the Huffington Post, your body cools down at night, increasing your growth hormones while simultaneously decreasing your levels of cortisol, which will result in “healthy sleep patterns.” The perfect night’s sleep would be comprised of two cycles: the first has your body recuperating with lower cortisol levels and the second sees your body working to increase these levels in preparation for the next day so that you might have energy when you wake up. If your sleep is interrupted (e.g. because of your uncomfortable pajamas), your body will naturally produce more cortisol than usual; the excess, in turn, is known to catalyze your appetite. Say goodbye to your diet and hello to that sleeve of cookies! Get ready for a lot more sex. If you sleep naked, you’re going to have more sex. It’s just logical. According to Dr. Landa: Sleeping naked encourages sex and sexier relationships are happier relationships. I couldn’t agree more! I mean, think about it, if you’re naked already, don’t you think your chances of getting in a hump session would drastically improve? And, naturally, with more sex, you and your partner’s intimacy will only increase — especially when the hormone Oxytocin is introduced into the situation. Oxytocin, as the Huffington Post notes, reduces stress levels, lowers your risk of depression and leads to a load of other health benefits that might seem completely unrelated to you and your partner naked spooning. Who knew being naked could “reduce intestinal inflammation”? If you have no clothing barriers, what barricade do you even have? You won’t have to take a shower in the morning. If there’s one thing girls hate to do, it’s shower. And if there’s one thing a human person hates, it’s showering first thing in the morning, as it forces you to wake up a full 20 to 30 minutes earlier. But if you don’t wear pajamas, you’ll stay cool throughout the night, drastically increasing the likeliness of a good hair day the following morning. If you get too hot in your sleep, you’re going to sweat… and if you sweat, your hair is going to look greasy. And greasy only looks good on food. It’s just easier. When it comes to #TeamBed, we’re all just trying to get up in those comfy pillows and blankets as quickly as we possibly can. Putting on pajamas inherently means more work: You have to take off your clothes, pick out your jammies, and then put them on. That might seem like a lazy thing to say, but sometimes the closet (or the kitchen, or the bathroom) is just too far away. After #thestruggle of a 9-to-5 workday, I’m not looking to do anything to make me wait for sleep. Nada. http://elitedai.ly/1aJnWl5

That moment he or she gives you this candy heart with a message that reads, "I deleted Tinder." And we know this because the went through the trouble of deleting their Tinder account. If BTS Were in Boys Over Flowers
Now, I think there are a lot of things wrong with the plot of BoF (mainly the boys treat Jan-di like crap) but its still funto imagine it as a less problematic drama. Here's who I'd cast! Gu Jun Pyo - Suga The leader of the F4 and heir to the Shinhwa Group, one of the biggest companies in South Korea. He is hot-tempered and believes that there is nothing that money can't buy. Though he's unable to express his feelings, deep down, he has a heart of gold. He torments Jan-di after she stands up to his bullying ways, but ends up falling in love with her and will do anything to protect her. Yoon Ji Hoo - V A member of the F4 and the grandson of a former president of Korea. He has a driving phobia after being involved in a car accident that killed his parents and left him the only survivor. He is initially in love with his childhood friend Seo-hyun, who helped him overcome his social anxiety. Calm and gentle, his musical talent catches Jan-di's attention and she begins to develop feelings for him. So Yi Jung - Jungkook A member of the F4 and a skilled potter. His family owns the country's biggest art museum. After losing his first love to his brother, he becomes a Casanova. He eventually changes his playboy ways when he realizes that he likes Ga-eul. Song Woo Bin A member of the F4, his family runs the country's largest construction company, which Woo-bin later admits has strong connections to organized crime. However, he has excellent business sense and is very charismatic. He's a super nice guy that happens to be a gangster lol and of course RM, Jin, and Jimin are the dad, mom, and little brother :) How would you cast BOF?
5 Things Men Truly Look For In A Wife
Marriage usually isn't the first thing on a guys mind. Let's face it. Most guys aren't looking for marriage before a certain age and those are just straight forward facts -- but, what we do know is that the thought crosses their mind ever so often. Every guy knows what he looks for in a woman and a wife, no matter how nonchalant he may seem according to the specific topic. We all know what we like, no matter how much we deny it. If you're curious about what most men look for in a wife, well your wishes have been granted. Keep scrolling if you dare and get inside the head of the man. Someone who will support him and all his endeavors. Whether you agree with his decisions or not, every guy wants that one person who will be down to ride regardless of the circumstances. 'For richer or for poor', remember? Someone who accepts him flaws and all. Nobodies perfect. Understand that. You are both a work in progress. Someone worth fighting for. It won't always be easy, but it will be worth it. Communication is key. If you feel a certain way, speak up. He will appreciate that more than you know. Marriage is not a one way street. Someone who matches his fly. Looks aren't everything, we get it. But who wouldn't want a trophy and someone who can make the sun shine on the gloomiest of days? Someone worth growing with. Growing old with someone is one of the most beautiful journey's two people can ever go on. 'Till' death do us part'. It sounds pretty extensive, but if you're down to ride -- they will be too. Buckle up and enjoy the ride. Men don't ask for too much. The feelings are mutual.
32 Things You Didn't Know About Weddings
I'm not big into fancy weddings, but I LOVE learning about traditions in other parts of the world. Check out these 32 facts and traditions! Good Luck and Bad Luck 1. Wear a sugar cube tucked in your gown...according to Greek and Persian culture, the sugar will sweeten your marriage. 2. In English tradition, Wednesday is considered the "best day" to marry, although Monday is for wealth and Tuesday is for health. 3. Saturday is the unluckiest wedding day, according to English folklore. Funny -- it's the most popular day of the week to marry! 4. Rain on your wedding day is actually considered good luck, according to Hindu tradition! 5. For good luck, Egyptian women pinch the bride on her wedding day. Ouch! 6. Middle Eastern brides paint henna on their hands and feet to protect themselves from evil. 7. Peas are thrown at Czech newlyweds instead of rice. 8. A Finnish bride traditionally went door-to-door collecting gifts in a pillowcase, accompanied by an older married man who represented long marriage. 9. Moroccan women take a milk bath to purify themselves before their wedding ceremony. 10. In Holland, a pine tree is planted outside the newlyweds' home as a symbol of fertility and luck. It's Got a Ring To It 11. Engagement and wedding rings are worn on the fourth finger of the left hand because it was once thought that a vein in that finger led directly to the heart. 12. In the symbolic language of jewels, a sapphire in a wedding ring means marital happiness. 13. A pearl engagement ring is said to be bad luck because its shape echoes that of a tear. 14. One of history's earliest engagement rings was given to Princess Mary, daughter of Henry VIII. She was two years old at the time. 15. Snake rings dotted with ruby eyes were popular wedding bands in Victorian England...the coils winding into a circle symbolized eternity. Fashionable Lore 16. Queen Victoria started the Western world's white wedding dress trend in 1840...before then, brides simply wore their best dress. 17. In Asia, wearing robes with embroidered cranes symbolizes fidelity for the length of a marriage. 18. Ancient Greeks and Romans thought the veil protected the bride from evil spirits. Brides have worn veils ever since. 19. In Japan, white was always the color of choice for bridal ensembles...long before Queen Victoria popularized it in the Western world. 20. In Korea, brides don bright hues of red and yellow to take their vows. 21. Brides carry or wear "something old" on their wedding day to symbolize continuity with the past. 22. In Denmark, brides and grooms traditionally cross-dressed to confuse evil spirits! 23. The "something blue" in a bridal ensemble symbolizes purity, fidelity, and love. Food and Family 24. In Egypt, the bride's family traditionally does all the cooking for a week after the wedding, so the couple can relax. 25. In South Africa, the parents of both bride and groom traditionally carried fire from their hearths to light a new fire in the newlyweds' hearth. 26. The tradition of a wedding cake comes from ancient Rome, where revelers broke a loaf of bread over a bride's head for fertility's sake. 27. An old wives' tale: If the younger of two sisters marries first, the older sister must dance barefoot at the wedding or risk never landing a husband. Show Off at a Cocktail Party 28. In many cultures around the world, including Celtic, Hindu and Egyptian weddings, the hands of a bride and groom are literally tied together to demonstrate the couple's commitment to each other and their new bond as a married couple (giving us the popular phrase "tying the knot"). 29. The bride stands to the groom's left during a Christian ceremony, because in bygone days the groom needed his right hand free to fight off other suitors. 30. On average, 7,000 couples marry each day in the United States. 31. Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve are the two busiest "marriage" days in Las Vegas...elopement central! 32. The Person You Really Need to Marry
Tracy McMillan has written for a ton of the top TV shows and is most interested in human relationships. In her TED Talk (viewed more than 3 million times) she touches on how we find the person we REALLY need to marry. She starts off by telling us about how she thought of love when she was a child, citing the popular nursery rhyme. *k-i-s-s-i-n-g* But her life totally didn't end up like that. She's been married and divorced three times, and she says its because she consistently married the wrong guy for her. She says her husbands were awesome guys, but they just weren't the people she should be marrying. She brings up her philosophy of "marrying yourself." Here's what she means. In marrying yourself, you need to commit fully to yourself, Focus on you, and understanding you. Once you realize that you're whole and can stand all by yourself you'll see that you don't need any man or woman to complete you. She believes that so many marriages fail because the partners believe that they are lacking, and they're looking for someone to fill that gap. She goes deep into her love life (which is wild!) to show how she had to overcome all of the mistakes she made to get to where she is now. One thing she found from this practice that hit me pretty hard was that once loving herself, and she went on a few dates... She found that instead of wondering if the man liked HER, she was focusing on how SHE felt in his presence. She's listening to herself and her needs, not trying to prove anything to anybody. "I'm more interested in how I feel about me, than how he feels about me." What do you think about this philosophy? Would it work for you?
