Baekhyun's POV

Instead of going to school today, Baekhyun ditched with Chanyeol and his girlfriend Rin. They decided to head to this park where they could smoke by in the large loops where the skateboarders did their tricks. Baekhyun still couldn't get what happened out of his mind. He thought he'd be over it by now. It happened two days ago; he thought things would've been better for him but something just wasn't sitting right with him. Y/n had lied for him after what he did but she was pushing him out of her life. She didn't want to see him or talk to him. He never really talked much with her anymore but now it was like having that option be completely cut off.

It was just a nice comfort that if he ever wanted to talk to her that he could. She wasn't going to hear a thing from him now. He was at the skate park while Chanyeol and Rin were smoking and laughing and he was feeling like shit.

"So when are you going to sing again Baekhyun?" Rin asked him.

Baekhyun shrugged,

"I don't know if I will again." He answered.

"What why not? I thought you wanted to be an idol." Chanyeol said.

He did want to be an idol but that dream only sprouted because of one reason.

He used to sing to her and she loved hearing him sing and so he'd sing song after song to her and she'd clap and request another song. She was in the third grade when she told him she wanted to see him on the TV one day dancing and singing. Y/n used to look at him like he was an older brother but something changed. It just became annoying to have her around. Why was that?

So many people talked about her, she was this nerdy girl that dressed kind of sloppy and she was always reading science books. Her head was in the stars and she was unapproachable. Baekhyun took care of his appearance and he'd grown quite handsome in his preteen years and now that he was close to adulthood he was even more handsome than ever. Girls swooned over him and the guys he hung out with. He had lots of people admiring him; he was like a star and he loved every moment of it. So when she showed up and people knew he was related to her he only had one other choice and that was to cast her away like she wasn't his blood. So it was only right that she did the same to him... but it wasn't right.

It didn't feel right. Their realtionship hadn't felt right for a long time. Gi Jong hated him now because of what he did to her and he could only imagine how the kids at school would react to his nerdy sister basically beating him up infront of all of them. He was still selfishly seeing his image in all of this instead or really reflecting on how she felt but it wasn't like he could fix everything now right?

"Damn I can't believe it." Chanyeol said looking at his phone.

Baekhyun looked up,

"Looks like the boys of Bangtan adopted a stray." Chanyeol chuckled.

He turned his phone so that Baekhyun could see it. It was a picture going around with Y/n and the rest of Bangtan walking together and they all looked pretty friendly. They were in the mall and then there was another one of them walking home from school in their uniforms. That was from today. Baekhyun stared at the sight of Taehyung and Y/n kind of close in a picture at the mall and one of him holding a necklace that she was wearing.

"They say she's the first Bangtan girl. That's big news. Your sister may not be as lame as we thought after all. Good for her." Chanyeol chuckled as he took back his phone.

Baekhyun nodded but if that were true than she'd have to look the part. She may not want his help but she was going to need it. She didn't have to change herself but she had to change how she dressed. She dressed too much like she didn't give a shit, she was a bit sloppy. If she was going to hang with Bangtan she needed to start dressing like she was on the same level as Bangtan. Baekhyun pulled out his phone and texted two people for help and he was sure both of those people wanted nothing to do with him for what he did to her but he was also sure that's why they would agree to help him anyway....

Y/n's POV

I wasn't suprised that Bakehyun wasn't home yet, even before everything that happened at the party went down, Baekhyun didn't realy come home from school immediately. With him out of the way, I quickly knocked out my homework and changed into some black skinny jeans and the galaxy shirt that Taehyung bought me. I got a little more research for my paper done and then it was time for me to head over to the boys dorm. I wish I could say I was surprised that Yoongi was failing but the classes that we had been in together he was almost always sleeping in it. I thought it was funny that Jin was threatening not to cook for them if he brought home another bad grade. Jimin didn't seem to want that to happen at all, he basically forced Yoongi into staying in so I could help him. I wasn't sure of how much I could help though. Aside from explaining science stuff I don't know how well I would be at explaining other subjects. I guess we were going to find out....

I showed up at the boys dorm and Jimin answered the door with a big smile.

"Come in." he said stretching his arm inside.

I walked in and down the hallway and I saw Yoongi coming from the other hall. I smiled and waved at him.

"Hobi is at practice for the next hour so you'll have some silence for a bit." Jimin said.

I chuckled. It seemed a bit empty in the dorm.

"Where is everyone?" I asked.

"Namjoon and Kookie went to work." Yoongi said.

Jimin nodded,

"Taehyung and Jin are in Jin's room playing Mario Kart I'm going to watch." Jimin said.

I nodded and he walked down the hall. Yoongi offered me a seat at their table and I sat my book bag down. I liked them all but I think sitting down with just one of them made me over think things, like what I did with Jin. I just kept thinking if someone were to know or see this they'd think bad of Bangtan. Taehyung told them I was one of them now, Bangtan for life but how true was that? I mean we've been class mates for forever but it's only just now that I've met any of them.

Yoongi looked at me and said,

"Are you okay?"

I nodded.

"Yeah just thinking." I smiled.

He nodded,

"Well, look I'll show you what I need help on and then you can do your thing okay." Yoongi said.

I nodded and he started to pull some stuff out of his bag. They were problems simple enough for me to understand. I thought Yoongi would pick up on it on his own without needing someone to explain but then I realized that he was tired and he wasn't reading the material. I sighed and looked at Yoongi,

"Um, how much sleep are you getting?" I asked him.

He looked at me oddly and then at the paper,

"Is that a part of the problem?" he asked

I chuckled,

"Maybe not on the paper but it could be a part of your problem. If you're not getting enough sleep Yoongi these things won't make sense to you. Your brain will try to absorb information but it won't do anything with it except jumble it up. Think about a popcorn popper. Your brain is all heated and moving, it's working just fine but it's just popping kernals around. That's how the information in your head is moving. It's just hopping around in your brain. Hm.... Maybe that doesn't make sense. Let's put it this way, you're tired so you're not understanding anything."

"Are you giving me permission to sleep?" He smiled.

I chuckled,

"Well maybe not right now. I can explain it to you but you have to get some energy. You have to be awake. Do you like coffee?" I asked.

He nodded and I smiled,

"Good then we're not going to study here. I need a place where you can't fall asleep on me." I said.

He looked at me oddly and I made him get up. We left the house and headed to this coffee shop that sold Italian expresso. It was the best I ever had and it was near my job. Me and Yoongi took our books and took a spot in the corner to drink. The drink gave him a bit of a buzz, after a few sips, he seemed more awake than he had ever been before. It gave him enough energy to stay awake through the little lesson. I explained problems to him that he didn't understand, theories and formula and then I had him test what I taught him. I gave him my headphones and put on classical music while he did the work and as he did that I started looking over some of my research.

The thought about going through this program, I realized now that I wouldn't be in school with Bangtan. I would be busier than ever. Even though I was mostly skeptical about truly being a member of Bangtan I knew I didn't want to be away from them just yet. I was getting a little warmed up to Taehyung even when he called me a nerd and Jin oppa was still my favorite of the boys. Namjoon always had something intelligent to say and I loved his voice I could listen to him and Yoongi discuss music all day.

All the Bangtan boys had dreams of being idols just like Baekhyun.

Did they live in a dorm together because their parents kicked them out? They didn't believe in them being idols? That was a tough job to do anyway. Such high standards in being an idol and they wanted you to not only look perfect but be perfect. Failure wasn't an option. How many of the boys thought of it that way?

I found my eyes landing on young, his head moving to the classical piano music that was playing in his ears while he was going over his answers and then suddenly he looked up at me curiously. He pulled the plugs out and said,

"Hm? You say something?"

I smiled and shook my head. He looked down and stopped the music and then gave me the sheet. I looked it over and patted him on the back,

"See you're smart too, if you get enough sleep you can rival Namjoon." I laughed.

He chuckled and he showed me his gummy smile. It was so cute, he looked like a completely different person. I gave him a few more problems and when the sun fell, we decided to head out of the store. Yoongi said he'd take me home but we moved slow while we talked to each other. At first it was just about things that we liked and what we wanted to do with our lives but then some how it came back to Baekhyun.

"Are you ever going to forgive him?" He asked.

I sighed,

"Well I think I have mostly. I mean if I never forgive him then I'm just the one stuck holding on to a bunch of anger. I shouldn't give him that much power over me it's way too exhausting. Forgiving and moving on shouldn't be confused with trusting again. He broke that, I doubt he can get it back. Blood or not."

"Bangtan isn't blood but we're family. People can earn trust back Y/n it takes time but it's not impossible. It was hard for me to talk to people and now I live with six other loud psycho children. I couldn't imagine being so mad at them I wouldn't forgive them, blood or not. You're Bangtan now just like Taehyung said and once you're in you're in for life but as much as you need to trust us; we need to trust you too. How can we expect that you won't turn your back on us or give us a second chance if we mess up if you won't give your brother another chance?"

"It's not like he even wants a chance Yoongi, Baekhyun hates me. He doesn't care about me he gave up on me first."

"Don't give up on him. You're his sister you know what's going on with him, you can reach him better than anyone else even if you don't think you can. Taehyung knows he's broken, something in him makes him act the way he does because he's longing for something. I used to feel this odd pull in my heart and for days in and out I could never figure it out until I let myself really think and dive into it. A brown piano that I used to play sat in my living room and I hadn't touched it in months and I realized what that pull was. Music is my life and by not having music apart of my life and daily routine for months my soul began to beg and plead for me to return to it. Music is the thing that feeds my soul and keeps my heart beating and the guys are the motivation I need. Baekhyun's feeling that pull and because he doesn't understand it he's acting out."

"I hate how you and Jin both just want to play voice of reason. Why can't I hate him like he hates me?"

"If everyone in the world thought like that Y/n, think about the chaos we'd see." He said.

I sighed and looked down for a second,

"Mom and dad keep shooting down Baekhyun wanting to be an idol even though he can really sing. They don't see his potiential but I used to love to hear his voice every night. I had him sing to me for hours until his voice couldn't take it anymore. I miss the days he was really my brother."

"You can get them back but that's your choice. I just hope when we fuck up you won't do the same to us. We actually like you if you didn't already know." Yoongi shrugged while walking away.

I smiled but said,

"We're boys there's just an natural guarentee that we're gonna fuck up." Yoongi laughed.

I laughed with him and we got back to the dorm. Yoongi walked in and dropped off his bags and called to Jin and told him he'd be back after dropping me off. He grabbed his keys off the rack and started to hurry out when Taehyung stopped us.

"Y/n." he said.

He looked at my shirt and smiled a little. He was happy to see me wearing it. He walked up to me and said,

"You and me are going to the mall tomorrow you can't say no."

"Wait what? Just like that you plan my day?" I said.

He shrugged,

"You'll get over it. I've got to teach you how to dress better. No one's more stylish than me." He smiled.

I cocked an eyebrow at him like "really" but actually it was the truth Taehyung was pretty badass when it came to dressing himself. He looked good in everything even the clothes he bought two sizes too big he looked great in. I sighed knowing he was going to be persistent with this and said,

"Alright fine but after this I don't want to be seen at the mall with you guys again for a while. People are going to start talking."

"Let them talk who cares what they think?" Taehyung said.

"This coming for the guy wanting to be an idol."

"Then let me rephrase it, mean people's opinnions don't matter to anyone else but themselves." He shot back.

I laughed at the way he said it and Yoongi and I walked out the front door. We did have school tomorrow so I didn't know how he was going to get me to the mall and the day after that I had work so I had to make sure all my homework was caught up with because I didn't have time to play around with Taehyung. He waved at us as we walked out and I called back a goodbye. Yoongi dropped me off in Jin's car and I came back home to see Baekhyun sitting on the couch watching TV. He looked back at me and the first thought that came to mind was to hiss just to be over dramatic but again it took too much energy. Whenever I saw Baekhyun, I was exhausted, he stole life from me and Yoongi wanted me to help fix him.

I think I had to fix myself first. My heart was shattered like Baekhyun took a baseball bat to a glass vase. The shards were sharp and in many pieces; it was going to take sometime to put it back together and once it was it was going to be guarded. Nothing was worse than fixing something only to leave it vulnerable enough to break again...

After school the guys waited outside for me again, Yoongi ended up telling me that if I was going to linger in the hall or go to science club then I needed to tell them so that they could just all go home. I didn't realize them walking me home was an everyday thing but it was apart of their family system. Jin said it was to make sure they stayed out of trouble because the youngest ones tended to wander off while the oldest one go home. Namjoon and Jin both had a system where they wanted to make sure all the guys got home safe. It was kind of odd though because Namjoon was the fourth oldest out of the hyungs yet if they weren't looking up to Jin they were looking up to Namjoon. All of them.

Maybe it had something to do with the fact that they labled him the dad. That still made me laugh because Jimin sometimes teased them when he took pictures of them using Snow app. He did that when we were at the mall and they were sitting down. He said they looked like husband and wife and Jin was the girl. They cringed so hard but we all laughed. So I guess them walking each other home to make sure that they were safe was like them being made responsible for the other members of the group. I liked that for a reason. It's like they were an entire system, each one of them fit a purpose for the other members. They made it so that they belonged together and they looked out for each other. Based off what Yoongi told me yesterday, it seemed that even this close knit family could sometimes hurt each other. They all made it through.

Taehyung walked next to me this time and Jin walked on the other side of me. Taehyung ended up slinging his arm around my shoulder making me look up at him.

"You're pretty silent today. What's up?" he said.

"Nothing." I said.

Something about his arm around my shoulder made my hand come to his just to hold it. It was an unconcious act but Taehyung smiled and locked his fingers with mine by the time I realized that I was holding his hand around me. He made it impossible to let go and there was this grin on his face as he looked in front of us.

"Don't forget I'm taking you to the mall today." he said.

"That's still happeneing? You do know I have homework right."

"Do it at our dorm, I'm sure Yoongi can use some help getting it done too." Taehyung chuckled.

"I can do my own homework Taehyung, you're the one that needs help." Yoongi shot back.

I laughed and said,

"Yoongi you stayed up in class today, I'm assuming you got some good sleep last night."

"Yeah thanks to you. That camailla trick really worked." He said.

You had told him about a tea mixture that really helped soothe you before bed and it sent you to sleep all night.

"Yeah until Hobi came home." Jungkook laughed.

Hoseok laughed with him and hugged Yoongi,

"Sorry sorry!" he said to him.

"Yoongi cursed at Hoseok." Jimin laughed.

I laughed with them thinking that their dynamic was really cute. The guys were all kind of crazy with each other. Namjoon looked back to see me and Taehyung and Jin. He looked at the two of us and I smiled at him and he smiled back showing his cute dimples but I saw his eyes slightly shift to Jin. I looked up at Jin and he smiled at me. I smiled back to him but why was I the only one catching these odd glances and what was up with them? It made me feel kind of uneasy and so I finally wiggled my fingers loose from Taehyung's hand and took his arm from around my shoulder. He sighed and looked away from me while placing his hands in his pockets. He had this sort of annoyed look on his face and I wasn't sure if I offended him or if it was because of the look Namjoon gave us.

I didn't say anything about it and I didn't want it to. It was probably none of my business.

"Noona! When are we going to play Overwatch together?" Jungkook said looking back at me.

"We could've played today if Taehyung wasn't insistent on dragging me to the mall. Are you guys coming with us?" I asked.

"No Jimin and Namjoon work today, so does Yoongi and Hoseok." Taehyung answered.

"Well what about Jin and Jungkook?" I asked.

Taehyung shook his head,

"This is just for us." Taehyung said.

I looked up at him, he seemed presistent on keeping the others away. Which made me a little nervous. I stepped a little closer to Jin unconciously and Jin placed a hand on me shoulder and smiled.

"It's fine Y/n don't worry so much." He said.

That was easier said than done. How could I talk about guarding my heart from getting broken again when I just kind of fell for all these guys? I mean I guess I had always admired them and saw them as angels and let's be honest, if you get up close enough to experience Jimin's eye smile it'll mend any broken heart. You'll fall in love instantly. Kookie's strength was admirable and he looked out for his hyungs. Namjoon and Hoseok's dimples were captivating enough that you just automatically trust them and as always Jin's handsome face could make a woman fall to her knees.

Taehyung looked up at Jin and Jin looked back at him and smiled,

"You two be careful." He said.

Taehyung nodded silently.

We got to their dorm and Jin was successful in convincing me to stay at the dorm to do my homework. Apparently, all the guys sat at the large table or in the living room on the couch, where ever they were comfortable, and did their homework and studying at the same time. If they needed help they enlisted the help of their brothers (mostly Namjoon or Jin) while doing so. They had rules set in place between them, like I said they were a system. They were a working unit so they kept each other intact. They watched out for each other and made each other responsible for their actions. Yoongi told Hoseok that he had to clean up after himself yet Yoongi was walking away without having cleaned up his mess.

I laughed with Jimin as we watched them argue a bit with each other and then Namjoon said,

"Yah! Too loud bro."

I think he was referring to Hoseok who was scream laughing at the time and Namjoon was writing a paper on his lap top. Taehyung had finished his work and was sitting in a chair closest to their back window while looking at his phone. I looked at Jin and leaned over to whisper,

"Hey is something going on between you two?"

I was curious now. I know I said I'd mind my own business but I was wondering what was going on. Jin just smiled and patted my head,

"No we're good. Remember what I told you though, becareful around Taehyung." He said.

I looked at him oddly and nodded...

After finising my homework, Taehyung took me out to the mall like he had been planning. He had me standing in the middle of the mall with him waiting for someone when finally she showed up.

"Gi Jong?" I said surprised.

She smiled at me,

"Hi Y/n."

I looked at her hard for a moment. I didn't trust her either. She sighed and shook her head.

"I'm so sorry about what he did I had no idea I promise. I wouldn't have agreed to do that to you if I knew." She said sounding genuinely ashamed.

I calmed down for a second. I think my distrust was more with Baekhyun anyway. After what he did, I had to question everyone but I believed her. She was geniue.

"What's going on?" I asked Taehyung.

"We're going to give you a make over." Taehyung looked down at me with a smile.

I stared at him like he just told me one of Jin's bad dad Jokes. He smiled at me and Gi Jong laughed a little.

"Y/n you're a pretty girl and we're not trying to change you just help you dress a little more- Um."

"Like a human being." Taehyung said.

I could always count on Tae's brutal honesty. I rolled my eyes and Taehyung took my hand in his and led me with Gi Jong into a store. It was like in a movie, they walked around holding clothes up to me and they were deciding on what would look good on me and what wouldn't. They switched a few stores a couple of times until they found something a little more my style. Taehyung found a shirt with a butterfly that looked like paint spatter. It was really cute and he bought me the shirt. He actually bought a few things for me despite me trying to refuse him but he was buying them anyway.

"My family is pretty wealthy which is why they agreed to let me move in with Jin Hyung and the others. They help me pay off my part of the dorm while letting me keep the money left over. I saved most of it so I can easily spend how I like." he explained.

"I think it's unnecessary to spend it on me though."

"I buy stuff for the others as well."

"Yeah because they're your brothers." I said.

"You're our sister. The newest edition to our family. I think that breaks your argument down. So just shush and appreciate what I buy you." he smiled.

He wrapped his arm around me again and I laughed as we headed into a beauty department store.

"Okay hold on I understand dressing appropriately but I'm not doing make up." I said.

"You don't have too but it's nice to have during a special occasion you know? So we'll get you a little starter something neutral and I'll show you how to use it and keep it simple like I did for the party. You should try it out for a everyday stuff. Also I brought an old curling iron of mine so you can take that and I can show you an easy quick way to curl your hair." Gi said.

"Isn't that going a little too far?" I asked.

"Honestly Y/n what's so wrong with taking an extra ten minutes to clean up how you look? You do realize you're really pretty when you clean yourself up right? I told you before you don't need make up to look pretty you just have to dress like you give a damn. Put as much effort into how you dress as you do into your science research. Give me two weeks. Just two, that's all I'm asking and I promise you everyone is going to look at you differently. You won't be Baekhyun's little sister, you won't be the geeky science girl, you'll be Y/n." Taehyung said.

I sighed and crossed my arms.

"Alright but just to be clear I'm only doing this so I don't seem ungrateful of what both of you are doing for me."

"Good enough." he shrugged and smiled at me.

He gave me his big box smile and I laughed because it looked really cute....

I like your story so far that I've read XD, I'm a guy and I disagree with that fact that girls look unattractive if they don't "care" about how they dress, or if they wear make up. ^_^ Putting a lot of effort into what you wear doesn't mean much, it's how you present yourself as a person! Clothes are okay but it's you and what's in the inside that makes you attractive. If you're a brat to people that's unattractive if you're nice that's attractive. I guess it's my opinion though. Like I said I love your story so far it's really good, this is my opinion ^^ I'm not saying anything about your story so you don't misunderstand. ^^ <3
just waiting on them to tell her it was Bacon's idea lololol is that evil of me?
omg cute!!!!!
adorable... i hope Baekhyun and y/n get along again, even if it's not perfect
