Super Junior Holds Lecture at University of Oxford
After a successful concert in London, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, Kangin, and Siwon visited the University of Oxford to participate in a special lecture.
On November 11, SM Entertainment stated that Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, Kangin, and Siwon spoke to around 400 students at the University of Oxford in the Oxford Union Debating Chamber. The title of the lecture was “Super Junior: The Last Man Standing.”
The Super Junior members, as the first boy group to ever lecture at Oxford, talked about their ongoing Super Show 5, which has traveled around the world with more than a million fans in attendance in total. Other topics included the music-making process and the training period to become a singer.
“We never imaged to be holding a lecture at the University of Oxford, which holds a lot of history, so we’re very glad to be given this opportunity,” said the Super Junior members. “We want to thank the students who were attentively listening to us during the entire lecture. It was a meaningful experience for us as well, since as we prepared for the lecture, we also looked back on our own history.”
Meanwhile, Super Junior will head to Osaka to continue its Super Show 5 on November 15 and 16.
