Linkin Park- Leave Out All the Rest

Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park since 1996, hung himself in the last few days. He was found today on July 20, 2017. Chester always struggled with drugs and alcohol among other mental issues such as depression and anxiety. But that is not what we remember him for. We remember him for what he shared. He shed his heart in the words he sang. He reimagined what rock could be and he created a new art that captured our souls and helped us grab on and let go and live free and never feel alone. Chester, wherever you are, the world did not deserve you and you did not deserve what the world did to you. We will keep you in our memories. We will hold you in our hearts. The impact you have had on the lives of millions will be your legacy and we will leave out all the rest. Every time I hear an ambulance I say this mantra: to those who lived, to those who died, and to those have been left behind. So this is to those who lived, this is to Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell and Kurt Cobain who have died, and this is to their wives and children and friends and family who have been left behind.

Thank you this. It was amazing what you said. I found out a day after and my heart sank. I really looked up to chester anf linkin park as a whole too. I grew up with thier music and bought all their albums. Waited for new releaswss. and this sadens me. i send him all the love and his family, and his fellow band mates
He was an amazing dude and the band was and is an inspiration and a light in the dark. We will keep him alive 🤘🏼
His music kept me strong 16 years ago, while I was standing up to my abusive stepfather for the first time in my life. Even though I was very much alone, I never felt alone. Hybrid Theory lyrics wrapped around me like a protective blanket, reminding me of what was worth fighting for and that if others could survive, so could I. He will be greatly missed!
This is what will keep him alive in our hearts. You will. You are what he stood for and what he hoped for and you are what he needs now. The tables have turned. Do him proud like it seems you already have
This breaks my heart, I've been listening to Linkin Park for 13 years now, since I was 3, and it hurts how much such a strong soul has hurt so much. Chester will never ever ever ever be forgotten.❤
So many people grew up with hearing his voice as a blanket to protect them and that is why we will never forget him. Thank you for sharing ❤️
I loved Linkin Park I'm sad to see him gone. Chester, I shall never forget you and the music you brought to the world....
when found out about this my heart just dropped. That was the saddest news I got that day. So played every other song by Linkin Park that day to remember him. 😢😢
I wonder if he knew that his music would continue on without him and because of him

An Antique from Pandora's Box
Some mornings are prettier because you stay up just to watch that half an hour before the sunrise when everything feels like the brutally quiet sea. Of late I've been struggling with sleep and I have nothing else to do, so I often goof around the house. My father has told me several times that I should start working out or doing more physical work in order to catch sleep but the truth is I don't wish to. Several things keep me awake and earlier it was daunting to think about nights and worry about my sleeplessness. But one day I was goofing around in my room and I was trying to find some of my father's old novels to read and pass the time. There is a shelf in my house where my mother keeps everything that doesn't fit the entire set up of my home. While scavenging for a novel there I came across a very strange wall clock. It looked like it was a million years old but something about it fascinated my curiosity. The next afternoon, I asked my mother about the wall clock. She was busy with the house chores and didn't pay a lot of attention to my question back then. Later in the evening she found me fiddling with the clock on the roof. She called me out from the stairs itself and asked me where I got it from. I told her I found it on the shelf that both my father and I refer to as the Pandora's Box. I could see that she was super annoyed at me for taking it out and I could almost predict the next sentence that would come out of her mouth "garal garal cheez nikaal leti hai" ( you keep poking your nose around things ). image via : wallpaperaccess.com I asked her what's the deal with the wall clock and why is she being so upset about me finding it. She told me that the wall clock is an antique that has been passed on in our family from generations. It had great significance but more importantly sentimental value. My grandfather had passed it to my mother because she was his only daughter. She couldn't find any place to keep it safe and with time had almost forgotten where she had kept it. I asked her if would give it to me so I could get it fixed, with the batteries maybe. She scoffed and told me that antiques don't need to be "fixed" they need to be preserved over time. It's funny but I never thought about how important some inanimate objects become of a history of people. It's almost as if you could wonder about the time and the kind of people who held this before you. Since then I've been an avid collector of antiques. I like to keep them safe and try to collect as many as I can. While there are antique shops that I often walk to and buy from, of late, I've discovered that I can find them on eBay or any other alternative to eBay which provides great value for money as well as some very interesting antiques.
My Experience as being a Graphic Designer.
Hi Guys! As most of you may know that I've recently (September 19th, 2018) graduated from my college campus with my Bachelor's in Bachelor's of Fine Arts Graphic Design. However I'm stil looking for a job in my field. There are always going to be struggles with my career. If you don't know, Graphic Design is the most Competive job that is out there, thou any job will be competive to get, but being a Graphic Designer is the most difficult when you have many other designers competiting for the position and sometimes you may get picked or someone else will. I mean if they got pick they obviously deserved it. While in college I've made a lot of friends that are in Graphics Design. Honestly I loved making friends that were in my field of study however they were also my competition. Some I won't even call my competition because there work was questionable. However there was atleast 2-3 girls that are my competition and still are to this day. One of them she is my number 1 competition but I really love her style, however we would talk a lot about what we like and our art style and give each other feedback which to me is the reason why she's ranked number 1 on my list. You'll get Harsh critiques I can't tell you how many times I've gotten critiques or seen others get mad over critiques. When someone critiques your work, critiques are there to help you improve your art work, I've seen so many students totally avoid them because they take it to personally or they don't think that they need them. You'll get better at handling as you go on, because I've gotten praised on it before, at my first internship, it was the most harsh critique I've had however he was more surpirse at how composed I was to understanding it, and I explained that the school I go to help prepare for these moemtns because they're going to happen. Interviewing Skills You'll get a lot of interviews . If you aren't that good thats ok, you work on those skills through practice, also your artwork will speak for itself as well when they see your portfolio work. My college had help practiced with these skills as well, when asked "what skills have you acquired working at your current job" I had working at my school, my first response was "I didn't have any".....don't say that...a year and a half later, I actually got better and had said "I have good customer service skills, planning out our schedule, answering tech support questions" etc... It jsut takes practice and time, and don't be afraid to ask for help. Finding a Job Finding a job isn't that difficult believe it or not. However My location isn't a good plave to find my position. I live in Michigan, and if you know Michigan....its known for the automobile and professional buisness. Honestly Michgian isn't really known for a creative state. I suggest being open to traveling to a different state that you have a higher chance at getting a job. Computer / Software Computer: My advice is to not ask someone what computer they should get. either way of a PC or a MAC they're both good for design work. It personally comes down to your personal preference of what you like. For me I like both PC and MAC I like MAC's becuae they're more user friendly with Graphic Design than a PC but I can work on both platforms. Software: The Software that Graphics Designers use are Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. You can pay monthly or yearly for the programs however if you have the money to buy the programs then I would do that it would save you lots of time and money when you have the full software. I've Been Busy!
I've been so tired these past few weeks! With my work and school schedule it's been a lot more presure this quarter for me. My job as a student worker, we lost one of our co-workers due to him being very sick. My school works as you have to be in school in order to work at the school, if you take a quarter off or leave the school then you give up your job to work. Sadly for my friend he got dropped from his classes due to his Flu Sickness and it leaves me with me, my other co worker and my boss. Its been very stressful to work and go to class when you can't call having one position open. (for those who don't know I work Tech Support for my school) But to say the least I love the classes I got! Senior Project Publication Design and Online class (if you don't know i'm in collage and I study Graphics Design) (sorry for the image in advance thats how it saved for a PNG) Both of my on ground class have the same theme going on with it being for children for my other class. The other project i'll be working on is a magazine for children and its going to match with the calender. the magazie will contain some information about animals, animals going extient and other information of what you can do to help save our animals. Once I finish some things of my Magazine I'll make sure to share with you guys. What I was thinking that for promotions for both of these are that If you buy the magazine and calendar then all the funds would go to all the endanger animals Here is a list of Endangered animals it lists Extint, Critically Endangered, Endangered and Vulnerable : Endangered Animals The next month is gonna be hellish trying to get all this stuff done.
