Boy Next Door. Chpt 1 (Fanfic)
A new story has formed inside my head and with a new main character!! Mathew well BM from KARD lol Its going to be maybe 5-6 chapters long (I'm estimating). Synopsis: A week of knowing each other, a little fling on vacation, how is this going to end? ...... okay onto first chapter! **********†**********†**********† After finally settling into the house I setup my computer to get some work done. The dog I was watching was laying by my feet with a bunny toy in her mouth. Kookoo was a sweetheart, but super hyper. I was hired to stay at home with animals when families went away. Half the time I just slept on the couch not wanting to use someone's bedroom.
This was different, I was watching my parents dog so I got the guest room.
I was finishing up some of the homework for class when I got a text from my dad saying their flight had been canceled. Sighing I spent 5 minutes on the phone figuring out if I had to go get them, thankfully I didn't.
Half hour later I was not expecting to see someone approaching the door. Getting up I went to see who it was actually at first thinking it was my mom at the door.
It wasn't.
A little old lady was standing there with a man holding a tray behind her.
“Are you Kathleen's daughter?” She asked.
“Yes, I'm Kia. I'm just watching kookoo for the week” I said eyeing the tray. Kookoo was at my knees trying to get around me so she could jump on the pair.
“Can we come in?” She asked.
“Uhm if I move kookoo is going to jump on you both and you have a tray in your hands.” I told her.
“Oh. Than why don't I just tell you what I brought you. Your mother told me how you like coffee so I brought you a cup of espresso. There is a bowl of rice and kimbop and Tteokbokki with kimchi on the side, the kimchi is spicy” she said explaining the food types.
“Oh my gosh you are so sweet, thank you!” I said grinning.
“Mathew why don't you bring it in for her” she said patting my cheek and stepping aside. A man with blonde hair and tanned skin stood there, tall towering over me. He was one handsome man.
“Oh but kookoo-”
“If you hold onto your dog I'll just set it on the table” Mathew said taking a step forward
“Oh yea, okay” I said stepping back and grabbed ahold of kookoo as he stepped in. He went to the table I had my computer and books out on and set the tray down.
“Thank you, uhm-” I gave a sideways look not sure what to say.
“Mathew nice to meet you Kia” he winked.
“nice meeting you too” I said.
“Mathew don't spill the coffee”
“I didn't grandma” he called out. “working on school work?” he pointed to my open computer and open textbook.
“yea” I said making a face “gotta get that degree somehow” I winced not believing I said that.
“we should go so you can get back to studying “ he said abruptly heading towards the door.
“Oh yea thank you for the food and coffee. It was sweet of you both” I said walking behind him to the door.
I showed them out and than locked the door turning to kookoo who was by the table looking at the tray expectantly.
“kookoo can you believe that, neighbors actually bring foods to the house” I chuckled.
She whined wanting what was in the tray.
“Nope princess this is for me” I shook my head excited to try the home cooked meal. Korean food was my absolute favorite foods, even if my parents didn't like it.
I was doing homework when my parents came home an hour later. After they settled back in I told them about the nice neighbors and how they brought me food
They looked at it and laughed saying they would order a pizza for themselves.
“Make sure to bring them something when you return the tray” my mom told me.
“Yes yes. I'll make banana bread or a home made pizza” I told her. I liked to cook.
It was around 3 in the morning when the two of them left again to get on their plane at 5 leaving me with the dog. I easily fell back asleep and promptly snuggled up to kookoo who jumped onto the bed with me.

The first day I was by myself watching kookoo I found myself taking her out for a long walk, I would look into where a dog park was that would be close. Kookoo is a fluffy golden retriever mixed chow, which meant long hair and sheds like crazy.
Dazed I was walking aimlessly around the neighborhood thinking when a vision entered my line of sight. Shirtless male, abs that glistened with sweat and arms that were thick.
I stared.
I stared openly dumbfounded on if I was seeing a Mirage in front of me. Gosh it had been to long since I'd been with anyone.
As that bare chest got closer I realized I wasn't imaging things in my dirty mind, he was real.
And it was Mathew.
He stopped in front of me, jogging in place. “Hey girl, your a cutie” he said making me blink rapidly . . . until I realized he was leaning down to pet kookoo who seemed to like the attention and was licking his hand. He was talking to the dog, not me.
“Out on a dog walk?” He said.
Now was he talking to me?
He raised his head to look at me as he stopped jogging in place.
Oh he was talking to me.
“Yes, its a nice day and she likes to go out on walks” I answered.
“Nice, you go on a lot of walks?” He asked standing upright and the ripples over his abs, I bit my lip.
“I watch a lot of dogs, so yeah, I guess so” I answered at last.
“Your a dog walker?” He cocked a brow.
“I babysit animals not a dog walker” I told him making him laugh.
Gah. He had a husky laugh.
“What's the strangest animal you've watched?” He asked.
I thought for a moment, there was two, normally I would just say the one but I couldn't resist.
“Hmm, a toss up between the parrot who mimicked sex noises and the duck who was adopted by a 5 year old child and her parents couldn't say no to her” I said.
Mathew stared at me then chuckled.
“A duck? Really?” He focused on the safe one.
“Yup, weirdest part was that it had to be in the same room as people. A full week of no sleep” I chuckled.
I was being good, I was continually looking only at his face.
“hey did you like the food my grandma made?” He asked suddenly.
“Oh yes, it was amazing. I haven't had home made korean food in a long time” I said.
“You've had it before?” He asked.
“Yea, I visited my friend in Seoul for a month and her mom adopted me as a long lost child and refused to let me eat fast food so she made dinner every night for us” I told him.
“Wow I never would have thought you would have been there” he said.
He took kookoo’s leash from me and started to walk by my side making me walk again as well.
“well I went through my wild year were I backpacked around” I told him. “You ever been?” I asked.
“Yes, I'm on vacation for a week to see my family here than I'm heading back” he said.
“Wow, coincidence much” I chuckled. “Oh by the way do you and your grandma like pizza?” I asked. It wasn’t random in my head, but blurted out it probably was.
“Pizza? Yea, who doesn’t like pizza? He chuckled.
“Good I was debating whether to make home made pizza or a bread of some sort” I said.
“Pizza” he said right away making me chuckle as he handed me the leach again.
“Pizza it is” I said.
“Well this is my stop” He said abruptly stopping and pointing his thumb in the direction of the house we stopped at.
“Oh okay, glad I know where to bring the tray of dishes back to” I smiled. “I’m sure I’ll see you around” I said. “Hopefully next time you’ll be in a shirt” I mumbled to myself.
“What was that?” he couldn’t hear my last comment, I was good with that.
“Nothing, I’ll see you around i’m sure” I waved bye to him and watched as he turned and headed inside his house.
Oh gosh, even the back view was gorgeous, his back was smooth and had droplets of sweat I could make out, not to mention he was in really really good shape.
I headed back home thinking on the recipe I was going to use for the pizza. By the time I got back to the house Kookoo was exhausted from the heat and panting, she drank her bowl of water than promptly flopped down on the ground and wouldn’t move. I was good with that.
Making myself busy I pulled out the supplies and started my work.
I spent the time with music on dancing around the kitchen as I made two pizza’s, one for them and one for myself.
