Who: Chase Malone x Reader
What: Fluff
Story: One happy night turns his life upside down. Business man, Chase Malone, must do everything he can to deal with loss, keep his business and bring back the woman he loves.

Chase's POV
A few times after Y/n walked out of the counselors office, Vanessa had spoken to Chase privately about his situation. She gave him deeper insight on what Y/n was feeling and even more she gave him insight on what he was feeling. She had lost a child herself; she knew exactly the pain he was going through and that small revelation allowed him to relax and open up to trusting her a bit more. She gave him tips and suggestions to help him through the period, to work on himself while also drawing near Y/n.

Y/n was pretty sharp, she probably noticed the change in him just as much as he was feeling it. He wanted to do everything he could to keep his wife. Finding out they were having twins, was an incredible feeling. Two little girls, it explained Y/n's appetite and the constant movement she felt. One moment she said the baby was kicking on her right side then on the left. It was a wonderful feeling to find out that not only was the baby okay but that there was another one along with her.

"What should we name them?" Y/n asked on the ride home.

"I don't know. Do you remember any of the names we picked out when you were first pregnant?"

"No but to be fair I think we only came up with boy names because we knew the sex." She answered.

"Yeah I was just hoping that there was some unisex names in the bunch."

Y/n chuckled lightly and looked out the window. He turned up the radio a little and a Adam Levine song played. She sang along as usual. He peeked over to see her hair blowing from the window; she seemed happy and content. She looked more beautiful than ever. He couldn't help but see her as a goddess while her hand rested on her pregnant belly. His own beautiful goddess to worship and love.

"If I got locked away and we lost it all today tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?" she sang along.

He smiled at her singing. The warm air of the afternoon rolled in and the sun went higher into the sky. The clouds were scare so the blue sky was open. Breath taking. He knew she loved to watch the clouds and a few times they went outside with Sammy to blow bubbles because of days like these. He remembered Easter Sunday and how she dressed him up as a rabbit. She took pictures with him in the grass. She played around making Chase shoot photo after photo like they were the stars of their own photo shoot. That was the highlight of his spring but they shared so many other amazing moments in their life together that he couldn't imagine his life without her.

He saw her drifting off to sleep which she often did when she was pregnant and he was driving. He was headed home at first but he thought he'd surprise her. He took a left turn and drove out past the city and closer to the water surrounding them. When he came to his destination, he woke her up. She looked around and sat up slowly looking as if she had no idea where she was.
"I thought we were going home?" She asked.

"We are but I wanted to surprise you, come on." He said.

He jumped out of the car and came around to her side and opened the door. He took her hand helping her out and she looked around at the nature surrounding them. Trees and green grass with wild flowers growing in different patches. There was a board walk just a little out into the water.

"Do you remember this place?" He asked.

She looked around at the endless open blue sky in awe. She shook her head,

"No I don't." She said.

"This is where I first told you I loved you." he said.

She smiled at him and looked back at the water. The wind blew lightly in her face and she soaked it in sighing with happiness, her eyes closed, enjoying the warm breeze against her skin.

"It's a good place to declare your love." She smiled.

"You said that back then too." He chuckled.

She looked at him and smiled. He bent down to kiss her softly, he was mesmerised by her. He pulled away just a little to whisper on her lips,

"I love you from beginning to end."

"And everywhere inbetween." She whispered back on his lips.

She suddenly smiled bigger and said,

"Let's renew our vows."

"What?" He chuckled.

She laughed and grabbed his hand and pulled him down closer to the boardwalk.

"It's the perfect place to do it. The first place you told me you loved me. We can stand here, right now and renew our vows. After five years, almost six now, we've grown and changed as a couple and we've got two little ones on the way."

"You want to do this now?"

"Yes," She said excited.

"We don't need fifteen witnesses we don't even need one. Right here, right now we make new vows to each other. Vows that only we hear but reflect our five years of growth together."

"I've never been good at being poetic on the spot." He chuckled.

He enjoyed her excitement at the idea. She held both his hands in hers and looked up at him with a bigger smile. Never had he seen a woman so in love the way he saw her look at him. He wasn't knocking her idea he just wanted to say the right words. She took off her wedding ring and gave it to him. He looked at her confused.

"We're going to put our rings on each other again." She smiled.

He laughed and pulled his ring off and handed it to her.

"Do you want to go first?" She asked.

"Sure." He smiled.

She chuckled excited and he took in a deep breath.

"It usually takes time for me to say the right things to you but sometimes I say the right thing in spontaneous moments and it surprises me as much as it surprises you,"

She giggled.

"We've gone through a big loss but we've beat the odds already. It's been hard for us and I've turned into a different man than who I was when we first met. Five years ago, I was so willing to fight for you and you fought for me just the same way this passing year. Every single moment you fought for me. I loved you more and wanted to be better for you. You're my princess, my baby girl, my goddess and the mother of my children. As I stand before you today, if I'm to vow anything to you, I will vow that my heart belongs to no one else but you. I will love our children and you with every breath inside of me. I will stop at nothing to see you smile and to see you laugh. I promise to kiss you everyday even when you're mad and I will protect you from danger as much as I'm humanly able to because you mean so much to me. I love you from the very beginning to the very end and absolutely everywhere inbetween forever and always." He said.

He slipped her ring back onto her finger and she smiled.

"My turn." She grinned.

Chase laughed and nodded.

"I can't believe five years ago I was willing to give up on a life of love and happiness and now I'm here standing before my husband, father of my children, the love of my life. You're right we've been through a lot and you've seen me at my worst and frankly I'm wondering why you haven't quit yet,"

She laughed with him.

"I didn't know true love until I met you. Even without my memories, I was still able to fall in love with you again. By seeing how much you loved me, I realized how much I loved you. A love that can exist even without some of the fondest memories is a love far more powerful than I could ever imagine. We've been through such a tough time but come hell or high water I will fight endlessly to keep you with me and love you whole heartedly. As I stand here today, I vow to you that I will love you from beginning to end and everywhere inbetween. I will fight for you when you lose your way. I will support you when you're falling. I will hold you when you're stressed. I will respect you and follow you wherever you go till death do we part."

She slipped his ring on his finger and he held her by her shoulders and kissed her. She chuckled and looked out to the water again.

"Hope." She said.

"Our daughter's name, it should be Hope." She looked at him with a smile.

"It's beautiful." He said and he kissed her.

"Samantha," She said.

"Hope and Samantha."

He smiled softly,

"Both beautiful names, both beautiful girls just like their mother." He kissed her again.

He truly believed it. She looked satisfied and they looked back at the water with him...
Y/n was a few days early for her due date and Chase was moving in a quick panic, meanwhile Y/n was just watching him freak out. He was getting her to the car when he started asking where his car keys were. They were in his hands as she pointed out with a laugh.

"Um Honey maybe I should drive." She said.

"In your condition?"

"I was thinking about yours." She chuckled.

He shook his head and got her in the car and drove her to the hospital. They got her in a private room immediately and all that was left to do was wait for her to be fully dilated. He was in the room with her brushing her hair with his fingers and whispering in her ear how much he loved her. He kissed her softly and talked to her calmly, now that they were at the hospital he could calm down.

"Are you okay?" She laughed.

"Yeah I just wasn't prepared, they're early."

"They're just ready to come out honey."

"I know, I know. How are you feeling?" He asked.

"About as well as I can be in labor." She laughed.

The doctor came into check and said,

"Looks like you're fully dilated. Are you ready to become a mom?" She smiled.
She nodded happily and they started to wheel her bed into the delivery room. They allowed Chase to follow and once he was in he held her hand. The doctor started to coach her through her pushes while Y/n crushed the bones in his hand. She pushed hard and long, taking her moments to breathe and gather up strength to push again.

"Oh I see a head." The doctor said.

"Really?" She said excited.

"Yes. I need you to keep pushing okay, give me a big, big push." She told her.

Y/n nodded and pushed hard, moaning in pain as she did. Her hair was soaked with sweat along with her hands, her forehead and her body.

"One more time Y/n she's almost out." Dr. Shelly coached.

Y/n nodded and pushed one more time as hard as she could and Chase heard the beautiful first cries of his daughter. Y/n breathed in happiness and what sounded like disbelief that she was finally out. Dr. Shelly handed Chase the scissors to cut the cord and they wrapped her up. Chase brought her over to Y/n so she could see her. She had fat cheeks and her eyes were shut, she was crying and her little hands were in fists.

"Hi baby." Y/n beamed at the sight of their daughter.

"Hope." Chase whispered.Β

Y/n nodded.

"Hope. Someone put a sticker on her so we don't get confused." She said.

"We won't, she has a mole by her eye and on the tip of her nose like you do. With luck, our other little one won't." He said.

"Alright Y/n are you ready to push again?" Dr. Shelly asked.

"Can we just stop here and pick things up tomorrow?" She joked.

Dr.Shelly smiled and Y/n grabbed a hold of the bed railings. The doctor looked up at her and counted her in. Y/n began to push again with all her might but it was short lived because she was so tired from delivering Hope.

"Come on Y/n I need you to do better than that." Dr.Shelly said.

"You can do it baby." Chase told her.

"Can you push for me?" She whined.

Chase chuckled and laid a hand on her shoulder and kissed the top of her head.

"Alright Y/n give me a big push." Dr.Shelly coached.

She pushed, she pushed as hard as she could groaning in pain all the way. She stopped to breathe, her face was flushed and she was sweating even more than before. She cried wanting to stop but knowing she had to keep going. She breathed again and pushed, the cycle continued until the cries of their second daughter came screaming into the room. Y/n laid back with a sigh of relief. Chase was able to cut the cord again and he presented their second daughter, Samantha, to her. Y/n smiled with tears in her eyes and kissed Samantha's head. She took her in her arms shushing her but crying herself.

"Welcome to the world little ones. Hi." She giggled looking at Sam then Hope in Chase's arms.

Chase gifted her with a soft kiss.

"I'm so proud of you." He said.

"I love you." She cried.

"I love you too, forever and always."

He would continue to love her that way.

From beginning to end...

And everywhere inbetween.....
