The Big Blue Hole (aka The Great Blue Hole, 30+ metres/100+ feet)
Andros has 178 blue holes on land with at least 50 in the sea, such as Uncle Charlie's, Church's, and the Guardian. The Big Blue Hole is the second deepest blue hole in the Bahamas.
On the floor of the cavern is a 50-foot crack, which in turn leads into a second cave. You'll be guided to the entrance at a depth of 12 metres/40 feet and then descend down an ancient waterfall chute and passing under a swim-through called the sky light room. Here you can look down into the infinite depths of the hole.
Entering this second cave requires both Advanced Open Water (AOW) training and some cave diving experience, as it is a tight fit and reaches down to 110 feet.
That cave has passages leading to a third level of caves, and those are off-limits to all except serious, well-trained underwater cave explorers.
