いよいよ今週18日（金）に公開がせまった「スター・ウォーズ/フォースの覚醒」。 公開直前になって実に微妙なニュースが飛び込んできました。 本編の前に、あの「ワンピース」の映像が上映されるそうです。 内容はルフィたちが、スターウォーズのコスチューム姿で、「スター・ウォーズ/フォースの覚醒を鑑賞する」というもの。 これは...これは...どうなんですか！！？ インサイド・ヘッドを見に行ったときも、本編前にドリカムの曲＋家族写真が上映されてアレだったんですが、今回はそれを凌ぐ蛇足感...。世界観が違いすぎます！！ とりあえず、初日18日の初回は上映されないそうです。 そして全部の映画館でやるわけではないとのことなので、どうしても気になる人は、事前にチェックしましょう...。 上映館はコチラ。 基本、TOHOシネマズとT・JOY系列で上映されるようです。

you may have never heard of them, that's ok, I hadn't either until this last weekend. Once I did discover them though, I stayed up way later than I anticipated literally laughing out loud for the first time in as long as I can remember. Do I have a weird sense of humor? probably, but this channel is still a gold mine of great content. If you can think of a movie, netlfix original, or tv show these guys probably have a video about it. Their content revolves arounf movie and tv reviews/commentaries with basically zero filter which makes them 10x funnier. LOOK HOW SQUISHABLE THEIR GELATINOUS LITTLE CAT FACES ARE! According to Felissimo's product description, Nyarshmallows are the perfect gift for any cat lover. They add that it's perfect for non-cat lovers too -as just because you don't have a soul, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy fluffy, sweet marshmallows. Nyarshmallows are available in a box of 12 for about ¥2,585 (roughly $21 USD), which might be a steep price to pay, but considering each marshmallow is individually crafted by hand, hey, maybe you can save this one for a 'Treat yo'self!' moment? La La Land: As Perfect As They Say?
I went into La La Land knowing about the stellar reviews it was given. I'll admit, some scenes were laugh out loud funny and every scene was visually stunning, but there were some moments that made the film seem a little too long for me. I think the director was paying tribute to the old dream of Hollywood but at least two of the musical scenes felt too long :/ However, Emma and Ryan did an amazing job - they were realistic dreamers. Emma, who played a wannabe actress, and Ryan who played a struggling musician, had the dreams and lifestyles of many young people in Hollywood. They moved out to LA with dreams of hitting it big and usually end up with part time jobs and no call backs. They didn't make this seem romantic at all (although Emma had the most amazing wardrobe for a struggling artist that I've ever seen) They fought like a real couple, they loved like a real couple. Overall, I felt that it wasn't a waste of my time. It was a cute story, and the directing (though odd at times) is very different from what we've been seeing in theatres lately. 3.7/5^^ If you have time, watch it, but if you're saving money - just wait til this is on Netflix <3

My Week-Long Japanese Adventure!
I just got back from a week long solo adventure in Japan! Here are the videos I've made documenting my trip^^ 1. Koyasan to Kyoto I went from plane to train to cable car to bus to get to the GORGEOUS cemetery on top of Mt. Koya in Japan. It took over 3 hours to get there but it was so worth it! I stayed there for one say then headed down to Osaka to check out a really fun cafe. Then I ended the day getting to my AirBnb in Kyoto :) Here are some photos: 2. Katsuoji Temple and Fried Maple Leaves I visited a temple in Mino-o that is dedicated to these really cool Japanese dolls called daruma. Fushimi Inari and Nishiki Market I woke up early to visit the famous Fushimi Inari shrine during a totally downpour of rain, and then ended the day eating a TON at the local food market! Music Appreciation
I just want to take a second to appreciate not only this song, but soft piano tunes in general, but specifically this song. I have anxiety when driving but it gets extremely bad in traffic and when it's raining. Today my driving journey included both of those. I'm pretty good at calming myself to a degree of the bearable but once this song and its vibrations started mellow-ing through my speakers, all that tension slowly started to melt away. If that's not what you call soothing the soul, I don't know what is. Piano music really does something to me and for me. Thank you musical melodies and vibrations.
