Goodbye Girls Generation :(

Late to the game but wow, big news from SNSD.


Three of their members will not be renewing their SM contracts and all want to focus more on acting.

Tiffany, Seohyun, and Sooyoung will be leaving to try out other options for their careers. To be honest, I'm not that surprised by Tiffany and Sooyoung but Seohyun really surprised me!

I wish them all good luck though~

Tiffany:

Tiffany is one of the main vocalists of SNSD and even had her own solo album recently. She's a serious powerhouse singer and I can't imagine SNSD performing without her.

Seohyun

The maknae, the sweet potato princess, the idol with absolutely no drama linked to her name. She's another lead singer in SNSD and has also had luck with acting!

Sooyoung:

Sooyoung is actually one of my favorite members of SNSD. While she has never been the strongest singer, she's improved so much! She was the leader for their Japanese promos because she's fluent in Japanese and she's been acting and modeling a ton lately!
I really can't imagine what will happen to SNSD though. I mean, Taeyeon can go solo for sure but I'm worried about Sunny, Yuri, Hyeoyeon, and Yoona. (well I guess Yoona can get a ton of acting work actually haha)

I know my heart broke when I saw the news! But good luck to the other three! I know two of their strong vocalists are gone now but other than taeyeon the other girls really do have really nice voices, they're just underrated. I've personally always loved Sunny's voice and Hyoyeon I felt could've been a strong vocalist had SM trained her to be more of one. Yoona's Chinese mini album was really nice also.

Taeyeon Causes 3-Car Accident, Everyone Is Okay
Taeyeon rear-ended a car last night and 4 people including herself were taken to the hospital. It is known that SNSD's Taeyeon had caused a car accident in Gangnam. Seoul Gangnam Police Office and eyewitnesses had said that around 8PM today, inbetween Nonhyeon Station and Hakdong station of Line 7,Taeyeon had caused a 3-car rear-ending accident with her Mercedes Benz car. Taeyeon's Benz first crashed into a Kia K5 Taxi in the back, causing the taxi to crash into an Audi infront of it. Taeyeon is known to have sent to the hospital, complaining a chest pain. The Audi driver and two taxi passengers have also been sent to hospital. The police is currently investigating this incident. (source) SM responded: Taeyeon is now home and she has no injuries. They apologize for the accident and say it was caused by Taeyeon's careless driving during an individual schedule. According to police, no alcohol was involved. (source) I hope everyone is okay and that Taeyeon is more careful next time, regardless of how packed her schedule is!

Sooyoung Just Covered Jessie J and OMG
Sooyoung has always been my fav in SNSD, but I have to admit, her vocals needed a lot of work when she debuted. She has improved in soooo many ways since debut (acting, singing, dancing, being fluent in japanese lol) and I'm so excited to see what she's up to next! Even though she's expressed that she plans to pursue acting now that she's left SM and SNSD, she did a small performance at a fan meeting and she's stunning! Wait for the chorus~ (video is a little shaky be warned!)

Back in 2008, while Girl's Generation were promoting their 2nd single, Kissing You, the girls got into car trouble. They were on their way to Music Bank at the time. Back then, there was a rule that if an artist missed their performance, they'd be banned from the show for that entire comeback cycle. Because of this, the girls ran 2 miles on foot to get there on time. They performed out of breath, sweating... They won that day. Never say these girls didnt work hard because, dang. Huge Problem in the K-pop community
Tell me, I'm not the only one to be scared to admit to being army. I am multi-fandom. I love and respect other groups. As well as never getting in any fandom wars. However when I mention I am army, I immediately get told I am trash. Please,what is wrong with being army? I see hate comments on every video where someone mentions being army. But then about 10 comments down there is an exo-l. What is so wrong with being army? I know there are a few idiots in the fandom but the rest of us love kpop. So please stop hating so much on army.
