Student Has Funny Cryptic Yearbook Quote
"If you thought you were cool in high school, think again. Jessica Lee, a graduating high school senior from Garfield High School shocked the world with a clever quote that was published in her yearbook. The quote read: “(F) flourine (U) uranium (C) carbon (K) potassium (Bi) bismuth (Tc) technetium (He) helium (S) sulfur (Ge) germanium (Tm) thulium (O) oxygen (Ne) neon (Y) yttrium.” Love it. Short sweet and to the point sort of. I feel like someone would have checked that though, why else would a student just put a bunch of random elements as their yearbook quote?

I think most high school students first of all wouldnt care, and second, no one would actually take the time to look that up just to make sure the abbreviations dont say anything - that would be the most dedicated yearbook person ever

haha that would take maybe 10 minutes to do but you're right, probably too much work for the high school yearbook staff
