Chen went straight to Nari's after she left Xiumin and Lu at the café. Nari got to her door and was entering the passcode into the lock when she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist. It startled her at first. She thought of Xiumin, thinking he had followed her home. Worried about letting her go off by herself, sick. That he wanted to take care of her and left Lu behind. When she looked down, she saw the ring Chen wore almost all the time. “I got you something for your tummy.” He said, rubbing her stomach. She opened the door and he followed closely behind her. But as soon as she got in, she booked for bathroom, slamming the door behind her. Chen ignored the noise she was making in there and went to make her some tea. He was somewhat disappointed that their original plan didn't work out. She did have plans to go with noona for the weekend but when Lu came into town, unexpectedly, she was going cancel her trip with Jae and meet up with him at a secluded hotel. He couldn't believe Lu let Xiumin turn around. As soon as she came out, he helped her to the couch, poured her tea. He watched her sip it slowly. His face so full of worry. “You've been sick like this lately. Are you okay?” He asked. Nari nodded, “I'm fine. I think I'm just stressed over work. I worked two weeks straight, no breaks. I think I just need some rest.” She leaned back on the couch, pulling her legs up, wrapping her arms around them. Closing her eyes, she felt herself nodding off all of a sudden. She snapped to but her eyes were too heavy to stay open. Chen watched her as she slowly fell to one side and then pop up and then slowly fall the other way. He wanted to laugh but instead pulled her towards him. She curled up into his lap. “I hope that's all it is…” he said trying not to sound worried and kissed the top of her head. After a few minutes, he laid his head back and closed his eyes. He didn't realize how fast he fell asleep, or for how long. But the dream he had seemed to go on forever. In his long short dream, he was sitting just as he was with Nari sleeping in his arms. Xiumin walked in, he was looking down at them. Then, beautiful diamond tears began to fall from Xiumin's eyes. He covered his face and wept. Chen cried in his dream, begging Xiumin not to cry. He breathed deep and let out a haze of frozen air. He looked around the room, everything was frosting over and freezing still. He tried to calm Xiumin, he jumped off the couch and ran to him but just as he was going to put his arms around Xiumin, to comfort him, he froze. His arms forever frozen in place, ready to hug Xiumin. As he stood frozen, he seen a pair of arms coming around from behind Xiumin. Holding him close and tight, making his diamond like tears stop. A sweet voice whispered to Xiumin. “Come with me, forever.” Chen's whole body jolted him awake. He took a deep breath like he had just emerged from under water. Somewhere in the background, he could hear something vibrating. He looked down and saw that Nari had moved to the other end of the couch. He lifted himself up slowly, so not to disturb her. He pulled his phone out and read the message from Lu. He looked back at Nari and left quickly.
