My Gods! Time flies don't it!?! I couldn't believe it's been over a week since I last posted...
We are nearing the end.
SeHun sat quietly watching out from the passenger side, Xiumin watched from the driver side.
“What were you two fighting about?” SeHun asked.
“Just grown up stuff. You don't need to know.” Xiumin said, he was smirking, lovingly teasing SeHun’s age.
SeHun's head whipped around, he glared at him, he could tell his hyung was trying to hide his smile. “I'm grown up.”
“Yeah, sure you are.” Xiumin couldn't help keep his lips from curling in the corner.
“I am, Hyung!” SeHun hit him on the arm, “Stop teasing me.”
Xiumin busted out with a laugh, “I don't know, SeHun, having a girlfriend that your best friend likes, is hard. I'm sure that's something you can understand, right?”
SeHun looked at him wondering what he was talking about. Xiumin went on.
“Me and Suho talked. You're more experienced in this kind of situation, I'll ask you…”
SeHun finally understood, “Ah, what happened between him and my jagiya… what do you want to ask”
“Did you forgive Suho? I know he forgave you because he loves you like a brother, he saw you had more feelings for her than he did so he let it go.” Xiumin waited for SeHun to answer.
SeHun thought about it, he wanted to give his hyung a good answer. But it was taking a long time.
“Why aren't you answering? You don't know…”
SeHun shook his head, “No. It's not that. I just wanted to put my thoughts together. Our situations differ a little. What happened between Hyung and my wife, happened before I swept her away. So I forgive him for that. But I also didn't know he had feelings for her. I knew they were close but I didn't think there had been more. But, ummm,” he took a deep breath, thinking about it more, “truth be told, what happen between me and Jongin is more close to what went on between you and Chen.”
It surprised him to hear that, “How did you handle that? Have you forgiven him?” Xiumin asked.
SeHun took his time again, “Yes. I told myself that if I didn't let him go to her then he'll always be chasing after her. I know how he is. I stepped aside for that brief moment. But then I kind of didn't have a choice either because of the situation I was in. I was forced to cheat on her and I didn't like that. The least I could do was look the other way.” SeHun glanced over at Xiumin, “Are you having a hard time forgiving Jongdae?”
Xiumin smiled, “No. Not anymore. Thank you Dongsaeng, despite your baby looks, you have grown up.”
SeHun laughed. He looked back over his shoulder and then ahead again, his grin still lingering, “What about Jongdae? Does he know how much he hurt you?”
“It doesn't hurt now that I look back on it. Jongdae… Jongdae explained to me how he was feeling, I think I hurt him more than he hurt me.”
All of a sudden, from the backseat, Chen's voice rose up, “Yah, Stop talking about me like I'm not here.”
Xiumin seen a familiar car pull up in front of them and wait. He could see Nari covering her face as Jae was speaking to her. She looked like she was having a hard time herself. It worried him to see that disturbed look on her face. Something must have happened for her to have disappeared like that.
“Let's get out.” Xiumin said to SeHun.
They stood against the front of his car waiting for them to get out. Xiumin grabbed SeHun by the arm when Jae got out, to keep him from going to her right away. She went around and opened the passenger door and pulled Nari out, bringing her around.
Jae narrowed her eyes at Xiumin, “As promised, now give me what I came here for.”
Xiumin laughed and pushed SeHun to her as she pushed Nari to him. He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close. Looking her in the eye. She looked like she had been crying.
“Our exchange is done. You kids have a good day.” Xiumin said.
“Bye Hyung.” SeHun said embracing his noona, walking back to his car, cuddling her like he hadn't seen her in ages.
Xiumin turned his attention back to Nari. She had zipped her sweater up so that it covered her mouth. Her gaze had dropped down to his chin.
“Why did you disappear? I got worried.” He said to her.
“I'm sorry. I had something come up suddenly and needed Unnie Jae’s help.” She said, “I'm sorry.”
“We have a lot to talk about.” Xiumin knocked on the hood and signaled for Chen to come out.
Nari looked up at him and then past him. When she saw Chen get out, her heart stopped.
“What is this?” She asked trying to back away but Xiumin grabbed her by the elbow, giving it a light squeeze.
“Annyong, Nari noona.” Chen said properly. He even bowed.
Nari bowed her head.
