Ooooh.... I'm excited, let's begin!!
SeHun watched every car that passed by. He hoped it would be his noona coming home. It wasn't like her to disappear for so long. Usually they would argue, she would storm out, and go to Nari's but she was always home by bedtime. He read that her mood would change often because of hormones and the changes going on with her body. So he was ready for that. He would let her go cool off and when she got back, he would cuddle her, tell her sweetly how much he loves her and the baby.
But that day, was two days ago.
When she didn't return, he called Nari right away. Nari said she left as usual. So he waited but she still hadn't returned by the next morning. He tried calling her but she wasn't answering. Nari said she would keep trying to contact her as well and she'll look around town. Even his hyung got involved.
They would go out driving around, Minseok escorted her because Nari went to people that Jae knew and asked if they had seen her or heard anything. Seeing that they were that kind of people, Minseok didn't want Nari going alone. Nari still found it unbelievable the kind of people Jae knew. There was nothing, no one had seen her or heard from her or even heard anything. Nari became worried. They would call SeHun after every visit.
The amount of worry was unbearable. SeHun was ready to break down every time they called with nothing good to report. Every time he heard a car coming up the road, he would run to the window. At some point he went out and sat on the porch.
The feeling he was feeling was painful. He kept thinking of the worst. She got into an accident, she was kidnapped when she stopped for gas, or maybe… she ran away. His whole body ached thinking about all the possibilities. He was so deep in his thoughts, he didn't even notice the little red car drive up.
“Dongsaeng… are you okay?” Minseok said rushing to him.
SeHun had his hands tightly over his face, his shoulders shaking as he started to cry. Minseok immediately wrapped his arms around him.
“I don't know what to do!” SeHun sobbed. When he put his hands down, his face was red, his eyes even redder and full of tears. “I keep thinking of bad things that could have happened and the worst one is that she finally realized that it was too ridiculous to be with someone so young and foolish, that she ran away. Or that maybe the life I was offering her wasn't going to be enough or that it was too much to handle. Or that she just didn't want to be with me anymore and that's why she was always arguing with me. She had nowhere to go and that's why she kept coming back but she found some place else and, and…. Oh hyung.” He broke down crying again. His head hanging down between his knees. Minseok couldn't do anything but try to comfort him.
His hyung picked him up and helped him inside.
He sat him down on the couch.
“Listen, SeHun, whatever the reason, we'll find out okay. I mean she can't just up and leave like that. She's carrying your child for christ sakes! Look, Nari is checking the hospitals, even the police stations. She couldn't have just disappeared into thin air.”
Minseok got up and went to the kitchen and brought him some water. SeHun grabbed it with two shaky hands and gulped it down.
“Don't cry anymore. We'll find her.”
SeHun nodded but his chest was letting out those sudden breathes like he was ready to cry again. He pounded his ever growing aching chest. The pain wouldn't stop.
