I have a mentally disabled brother so this speaks on a very personal level for me. This story is about Steve St. Bernard (yes his name actually has saint in it) and his walk home. On his way home, he noticed a little girl swaying on top of an air conditioner, which was 3 stories up. As the little girl, who is autistic, launched herself, Mr. Bernard launched himself in her direction and was able to catch her and save her from certain death. While he may not call himself a hero, there is no doubt that his spirit and actions are that of a hero. Beyond that, they are the spirit and actions that not only save that little girl, but our faith in each other.
